《Alpha's Little Luna》Chapter 54

Sitting on the edge of Sebastian's bed I try to map out an escape route. He's still asleep on the couch in his room, and I don't want to wake him up. Because if I do, I'm afraid he'll insist coming.
I slept walk, so what?
It's nothing serious, it's common.
I push my hair behind my ears looking down as I slowly ease the pad of my foot on the ground. Once I believe the coast is clear, I put the other foot down.
Seb doesn't move, doesn't even twitch.
Maybe this will be easier then I thought.
Quickly, yet quietly I run to the door.
Just as I thought the coast was clear, the door squeaks open.
Shit.
Looking behind me, I watch as Seb's face scrunches. I cringe, frozen in place. Please go back to sleep, please.
Just as i think I'm busted, he turns over facing his back away from me after groaning sleepily.
A huge breath releases as I slip through the door, leaving it in place so it doesn't squeak shut.
Ever since I payed down to go back to sleep last night, this pond has been on my mind. What is its significance? Why did I dream what I dreamt?
Isaac is too harmless to do any of that, so why did I dream of him?
I start to work my way towards the door to try and go to this pond, but clattering in the kitchen distracts me.
It's fairly early in the morning, who would be in there?
Willa, we need to go to the pond.
I shake my head, reaching toward the knob to go outside. But then a huge crash, and groans of pain echo from the kitchen.
I turn my attention to that instead. Running in, I see Issac on the floor with pots and pans surrounding him.
"What're-" I pause feeling my lips quirk up.
His head shoots up to me and his face becomes an embarrassed hue of red. "That's what I get for trying to do nice things, I guess," he laughs pushing the metallic objects off of him.
I help get the pans off of him, quirking my head. "What were you trying to do? I mean- I don't even know how you did this," I chuckle softly.

"I wanted the pan on the bottom of the shelf, but when I pulled it, they all came down instead," his face blushes as we finally get everything put back.
"I can help?" I look back to him once I close the cabinet.
His eyebrows crease for a second before looking down. "I-" he pauses scratching the back of his neck. "You're the Luna though?"
Then it's my turn to crease my eyebrows, why would that matter? "Yeah? I don't mind helping," I tell him softly setting a hand on his shoulder.
Did his Luna not help with simple things?
When he first got here he said that he shown more kindness then his own. Was his Luna really that bad?
He slowly looks up to me with a ghost of a smile on his lips, "I'd love that, thank you Willa."
Nodding I slowly turn away, my face dropping.
He was very quite while we were cooking. It was like he was deep in thought, and i couldn't snap him out of it.
He'd come back, joke around for a second and then go right back to thinking.
To be fair I was thinking as well, but at least I was trying to stay conscious in the moment.
After every few minutes I'd bump him on the side, he'd apologized, and then became his self once again.
It was like a routine we had the whole time. We went through this process four times at least.
"I hope it came out alright," he smiles up to me as he pushes an omelet onto a plate. "This one looks the best."
Looking down to the item I nod my head quickly agreeing. The others before, never came out in one piece, the always crumbled or split in the middle.
But this one stayed together somehow.
"We can give this one to Sebastian, maybe it'll make a good impression," I try to joke. Fully knowing that Seb doesn't particularly like Isaac.
"Yeah," he chuckles setting the table. "I get the feeling that if him and I were alone, I wouldn't come out unscathed." Biting my lip, I twiddle my fingers. "I take that as a yes," he laughs.
"No-no," I wither out waving my hands. "He just doesn't know you yet, he'll warm up to you at some point."

Quit lying, Sebastian hates Isaac. I don't think he could ever warm up to him.
It's not like I can exactly tell him that.
Isaac shakes his head waving a hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. Once I find my pack I'll be out of your hair, and his."
Frowning we both sit down at the table across from each other. His sad eyes drooping, I can see how beat up he is.
If only Sebastian trusted him as much as I do. After spending time with Isaac it's only convinced me further that he wouldn't harm anyone here. That he's no threat.
He's too young, too innocent to do anything even mildly bad. "You're welcomed here until that day comes, Isaac." I tell him softly.
Slowly, Isaac's eyes look up to me. A smile flickering on his lips, I can tell he's thinking something through in his head. His pupils slightly glazed.
It only takes him a moment to snap out of it before a full smile spreads across his lips. "Thank you, seriously. For everything you've done, for the kindness you've shown." He speaks quickly.
"Of course, I-"
"Willa!" My head snaps to the doorway seeing Seb rush in, looking to the table. He looks irritated, to say the least. "Why'd you sneak out? Could you not tell me your we're leaving?"
I sit back in my chair wearing a challenging smirk. Isaac and I's conversation completely floating from my mind. With Sebastian's energy in the room, my mischievous side's coming out.
"You're not my guard dog, Seb," I tell him in a matter-of-fact kind of tone. My nose scrunching teasingly.
Honestly I just don't want him to bring up the fact that i was sleep walking again, I just want to move on and after that it was nothing serious.
He rolls his jaw stomping to the table. He slams his palms down on the surface leaning towards my face. "Don't forget, Greyson isn't here-"
"Sebastian i made an omelet for you," Isaac interrupts quickly watching how heated Seb was starting to become.
It makes his attention pull to Isaac and the omelet sitting on the table.
Ah, I love getting on his nerves.
Seb scrunches his eyebrows, taking a step back. Looking as if he's almost confused. "I made you breakfast," Isaac repeats.
"You-" Seb pauses crossing his arms.
"Just eat the food Sebastian," I chuckle. "I made it with him, it's good, promise."
He glances to me, his eyes becoming slits.
Reluctantly he sits a seat away from Isaac so there is something separating them. He doesn't say anything else before he starts to eat the food. I smirk starting to eat my own.
Once I'm finished with my food, I pick up my plate and everyone else's walking to the sink.
I turn on the water, setting the plates under the faucet. Reaching to grab the sponge, I pause as my heart rate starts to thunder in my chest.
My head starts to spin, as my wolf becomes restless.
I crease my eyebrows, holding the end of the counter top closing my eyes. The feeling is new, as I feel a pant come out of my mouth.
"Willa?" Sebastian asks quietly standing next to me.
My body starts becoming hot, as I shake my head. Amara becoming more and more rowdy.
"I-" I pause feeling my voice strain.
Only then does everything stop, as I smell something way too familiar. Something I've been longing to smell, to see, to touch.
"Greyson," I whisper under my breath as I turn around.
Seb follows my eyes, and a couple seconds later a presence walks through the doorway.
I didn't know that I missed him so much until my body went on hyper drive sensing him close.
It's been way too long.
Grey smiles slowly, his eyes getting brighter as he makes eye contact with me.
I smile largely at the fact that he's finally here again, until his eyes drift from me and to something else.
My eyes slowly become wide with realization.
I was so caught up in him, that I forgot who else was in here. Someone who he's never met, someone who is in his territory, someone who doesn't usually belong here.
"Can someone please tell me why there is a rogue in my territory?" He grounds between his teeth. His eyes glowing a threatening gold as he storms towards Isaac's quivering form.
