《Alpha's Little Luna》Chapter 36

Taking a deep breath we all walk back inside. Penelope and Liam giving me wide smiles as I blush. My insides still feel all twisted together from having to speak, from feeling such an overwhelming emotion.

You know you can be proud of yourself, right?

I sigh shaking my head. I said some nervous words, it was merely an accident.

Looking up from my feet I see Faye running over with a large smile. "Come on!" She yells grabbing my hand and yanking me out of Greyson's grip.

Stumbling over my feet I follow as she pulls me out of the house once again. Glancing behind me Grey is smiling, jogging behind us. "Where are we going?"

"Sparing tournament!" Koda catches up, running next to us.

"Do you always fight for fun?" I ask looking around to them.

Faye laughs pulling me faster.

"We're barbaric, and animalistic let us have our fun," Sebastian yells from behind.

I roll my eyes as Faye squeezes my hand smiling mischievously as we follow the shouts in the distance.

The clique and I all walk to the sparing circle where people were all gathered around.

Before we get too close my hand is caught and I'm instantly being dragged in the opposite direction.

I shriek until I collide with a solid chest. I smirk pushing away from Greyson as I glance behind us. The others already moving on without us.

He pulls me back quickly by tucking his fingers in the belt buckles of my shorts. I gasp looking up to him. "What?" I smile.

Grey shrugs moving his head down, his lips graze mine just barely, before I hear someone clear their throat.

He pulls back faster then me, and before I can react I'm pushed behind his body. My eyebrows furrow as his muscles become tense hiding me behind him.

"I didn't mean to interrupt," a sly and cool voice breaths lowly. I peek around Greyson's arm looking to see who it is, only to find an older man that I've never seen before.

His gray hair buzzed to the skin, iris's almost white as the blend in with the rest of his eyes. A scar in the shape of a long claw is sketched across his jaw.

He suddenly looks to me and smiles. Greyson growls instantly and pushes me back behind him. "This isn't your pack anymore."

"Yes, but I had to come see your mate for myself."

I bite my lip looking down as I'm mentioned. I stand trying to piece together who this could be.

They're older, about Liam's age. Grey is obviously threatened by them. They used to be in this pack.

I can only think of one person, "Flint you should go." Greyson says, only confirming my thought.

The man who trained Greyson, who beat him until he was satisfied that he would be a good alpha. This is that man.

"Let me look at the little doe eyed girl, and I'll be on my way."

"No," Greyson tells him quickly. I set a hand on his back quickly feeling his anger rise.

"Come on, I'm her biggest fan. The stories get passed all around my new pack. Just this once Greyson," Flint pries.

I massage my hand into his back comfortably even if I'm dying to teach this bastard a lesson. "He won't leave until he sees you. I can get warriors to get him out of here if needed." He links me.

"No need, I want to see what he has to say."

I step out from behind Grey watching as Flint's head turns to me slowly. He giggles like a kid in a candy store stepping back as I stand next to Greyson.

I scowl as he claps his hands together, "This is fantastic!"

He walks around me slowly, nodding his head every now and then. "You're a little Luna, aren't you." He smirks. "Good strong legs, sharp jaw-"

"Flint you need to leave, now. You have only seconds to walk away or I'll make you walk away," Greyson says stepping in front of me.

Peeking around his arms once again I watch as Flint holds up his hands innocently. "Okay, I'm gone. Just keep this one on a tight leash Greyson, she's an alluring one."

Grey growls lowly before Flint runs off towards the exit. Two of our wolves follow to make sure he goes back.

Grey turns towards me running a hand in his hair. "I'm sorry, I didn't expect him to come around." I nod wrapping my hand around his bicep, giving it a squeeze for comfort. "He's fragile now, you don't need to be scared of him. He's no threat to us anymore."

I cock my head watching as Grey keeps looking behind him to make sure no one is coming.

To make sure Flint isn't coming.

"And yet, you're still afraid," I whisper. He sighs grabbing my hand off his arm, "I understand Grey. But you don't need to fight him alone anymore. I'm here."

He smiles softly kissing my knuckles. "I know. I'll always have you by my side, no matter what."

He kisses my knuckles again before we start walking towards the crowd once again.

Once I see the others Seb turns around instantly. He looks between Grey and I quickly before his eyes rest on Grey. He nods firmly before walking to us.

"He's out of our territory," Seb tells him. "My wolves made sure of it."

"Thanks Seb," Greyson tells him before we join the others.

Once the happy atmosphere surrounds us it's like Flint was never here. Soon we're cheering on whoever is going at it in the middle.

Greyson never letting go of my hand.

At the moment two kids start squaring up before tackling each other. Everyone quietly laughs and cheers. "Brother and sister," Grey whispers in my ear.

"Yeah kick his ass, get him," Seb quietly chants next to me making me laugh lightly smacking his shoulder.

In the end the girl stands over her brother as she pins him first.

Cheering loudly I whistle making me smile proudly.

The boy groans, sulking out of the circle.

Next I see a buff guy walk into the circle. He looks about Greys age, maybe a bit younger.

His muscles were basically bulging from his tanned skin. His hair pulled into a bun, a scar formed over his eye making him more intimidating than he already was. "Anyone up to spar me?" He chuckles sounding so full of himself. And when no one volunteers, that just raises his ego making him chuckle.

I roll my jaw annoyed as I see him raise his arms flexing his muscles.

"Come on, don't be a wimp about it." He laughs.

Alright that's it.

On impulse my hand goes up, "I'll do it." I say simply watching everyone's eyes shift towards me. Their eyes wide wondering what I just did.

And I'm wondering the same thing.

"Willa he's a good warrior," Seb speaks up grabbing my arm.

"Have you sparred with him before?" I ask

"Yeah.

"Did you win?"

"Well yeah, but-"

"So I can beat him," I shrug.

Seb looks up to Greyson, though he just shrugs giving me a smirk. I smirk back to him pushing my way up to the circle.

My group follows behind me so they can get front row. And trust me everyone steps out of our way.

As I step in the circle the guy's eyes go wide, "Luna I don't want to hurt you." He says making my eyebrow raise.

I know he meant it to be nice in a way. But that just made me more annoyed and even more ready to hit him. "You won't, trust me," I smirk as I roll up my hoodie sleeves.

"Alpha are you okay w-"

"Go ahead Maxen, she's tough." Greyson responds smugly.

I smirk raising my eyebrows.

"Alright," He says before taking his stance.

We stand staring at each other waiting for the first person to make a move. When he runs at me first I almost howl in excitement.

I hold out my hands waiting, and when he collides with my body I instantly grab onto his arms pushing off slipping away from his grip and into the air.

Hurriedly I kick his cheek before the window closes and I land on the ground softly.

I hear everyone go silent, well besides Faye who's screaming for me.

He turns around, his face in shock as he holds his cheek. Though that shock quickly washes off with rage.

Smirking I run at him and he does the same.

He throws a punch and I'm quick to dodge under, regaining my balance and landing a punch on the opposite cheek my kick hit.

When I feel his shin make contact with my side I wheeze, my feet sliding from impact.

Alright, I give him props for that.

Standing up quickly I watch as he swings his punch, but instead of ducking I catch his arm. His eyes go wide as I flip his body over my shoulder leaving him on the ground speechless.

Everyone erupts in cheers as I give them a warm smile. I sigh looking down to Maxen offering him a hand. He looks at it and then up to me with a grimace but accepts my hand as I help him up. "Good job," I smile patting him on the back.

"Same to you," He blandly states before walking off.

Someone's a bit butt hurt. Oh well.

"Damn badass," Koda chuckles clapping my back as everyone comes to me.

Seb just rolls his eyes as I tell him, "Told you so."

Grey leans down to my ear, "That was hot." He whispers making chills go down my spine as he pulls away.

"Okay girly you know I'm always rooting for you, but I need to get in on this." She smiles as I now see she must've ran to a compartment during the fight because her outfit has completely changed.

I smirk clapping and rubbing my hands together. "Now this'll be fun."

I can sense Amara licking her lips in excitement.

"Tell me about it," Faye says smirking as we go back in the circle.

We stand on opposite ends.

I think of what I can do first how I can get an upper hand. Once I think of what I can do, I run.

She follows my lead running to me as well and once we get close I jump to the side while throwing a punch.

Though my eyes suddenly widen as she turns her head quickly catching my punch one hand and swings the other.

I'm too shocked to react as her fist cuts under my jaw making my mouth fill with blood.

Alright no messing around, this is serious now.

I crouch to the ground spitting out the blood, rolling my jaw in pain. Faye smirks down to me making my anger rise.

As I stand back up the fight continues.

Punches are thrown, caught, and landed. I finally land one on Faye but she instantly lands another one on me making me back up from the force.

I heave out heavy breaths slouching slightly with my fatigue. But I'm not giving up. No I'm just more angry from before.

I feel my eyes start to flicker into their gold color and I keep blinking to repress it. I won't be able to control it for long.

I feel my anger rising and rising like I'm going to shift right here in front of everybody. I don't know if I can control myself.

Why can't I control myself?

Taking a deep breath I tell my wolf to calm down. Even if she's pushing at my walls and they're slowly crumbling. I knock Amara back down and take a run at Faye.

Kicking her stomach quickly she doubles over making my knee shoot up to her face. Getting her right in the nose.

I back off as I see her nose gush with blood.

Though when I see her smirk and wipe her nose with the back of her hand I know I made a mistake by not taking her down.

Faye reacts by punching each cheek in a flash making me furious and swipes my feet from under me making me crash to the ground.

I clench my eyes closed as I try to calm down. Every breath coming out as a low growl. "You did a damn good job girl," Faye says offering a hand which I take standing back up.

"Yeah, you too," I cringe as my body starts to heat up.

Why can't I control my anger right now? I'm not even mad at Faye. I'm just mad at the world at everything.

"S-Sorry I really need to go," I apologize running through the crowd. I feel Greyson following as I run to the woods feeling myself start to heat up and change without my consent.

I don't even get into the woods before I shift. It's so sudden I roll on the ground sliding to a stop.

I growl loudly feeling frustrated with myself.

"Willa," Grey comes up to me making me scramble up, standing.

"Don't touch me. I'm furious right now and I don't know what I'm capable of," I warn backing way. Next thing I know is I'm running into the forest.

Everything is making me furious. These annoying birds chirping, how I'm incapable for controlling my emotions. It's like I'm turning into a werewolf all over again.

I find myself becoming blind with anger as I run, pumping my legs like there's no tomorrow.

I don't know how long I've been running or where I am but when I feel myself being taken to the ground I instantly go on edge.

I tumble with a different entity that took me down. Then pinning me down making me snap wildly in their face giving them threatening growls.

They push down harder on my chest making me look up to who tackled me.

Greyson stares down to me as I cower back with his stare. His muzzle bleeding, I must've gotten him.

I push him off of me scrambling to my feet I slowly

look up to him. "I told you to stay away from me, I'm too angry."

He sighs walking over to me, he runs his head under mind. "You ran out of territory," he tells me. "I had to stop you before you'd get hurt."

I shake my head looking down to the ground. "I'm sorry I don't kn-"

"You need to stop apologizing for things you can't control," he chuckles bumping my side lightly.

I shake my head again, "No I could've controlled this. I let my anger get the best of me, I let it control me."

"Willa, do you remember when you were about to change into a wolf and it made your emotions screwy? Same for when I marked you?" I nod. "The same thing is happening because we just mated."

Why does being a werewolf fuck with my emotions so much? Am I just one of the unlucky few that act like this? "Well why aren't your emotions all fucked up then? Why is it always me?" I whine making him chuckle as we start walking away from the territory line.

He's guiding me to who knows where.

"Trust me, mine are just as screwed up as yours. But I don't let it take over me." He sends me a smug smile knowing damn well my emotions always take over. "Ever since last night, when I'm happy I'm ecstatic. When one small things makes me annoyed it blows up to rage making me keep a poker face acting like it doesn't effect me." I roll my eyes knowing I'm a mess.

To be fair I'm a newer wolf than he is.

I groan bumping his side when he stops in his tracks suddenly. It only takes me a second to see we're back at the tent from last night.

Grey sends me a look continuing his steps shifting quickly before me. I smirk to myself as I look to the ground. Don't want my eyes to overstay their welcome on his body.

I shift back a couple seconds later walking a

Behind him after fetching a tshirt. "I hate these stupid screwed up emotions," I complain throwing my hands up.

"Well there is one good thing in it," he yells over his shoulder.

Stopping before the entrance of the tent I cross my arms over my chest. "Really?"

Quickly I suck in a panicked breath as he appears centimeters in front of me.

He eyes me down, lightly running his hands up and down my arms. I close my eyes feeling the warm tingles massage where he touches. "Before, you'd feel this attraction. But now, al you just feel is this lust that's so overpowering." He trails grabbing the nape of my neck making me look up to him. "You just can't control yourself," He whispers.

In one short breath Greyson hitches me up on his waist as I wrap my arms around him. Shrill giggles leave my mouth as he smiles on my neck. He chuckles as we make our way back into the tent.
