《Alpha's Little Luna》Chapter 22

She's beautiful. She did so good during her shift.
She was trying to be strong and work through it, but no one's strong during transition.
I stroke her fur as her head stays rested in my lap. "You did so good, I'm so proud of you," I whisper to her, but half to myself since she's out cold.
But as I think that she suddenly rubs her head against my lap.
She doesn't know what's happening to her yet. She still believes she's a human.
But I've known she's been a werewolf ever since she had her first back pain.
When I lifted up her shirt I saw her spine shifting. It happens to every wolf, but not on the same body part for everybody.
Each time after a new wolf rages their leg bone could shift, their arm, even their neck. But in her case it was her spine. I didn't want to worry her and say she's been a wolf her whole life, so I just had to wait until she shifted.
I didn't want this moment to happen tonight, to happen when we got in our fight.
I don't even know why I called her a weak human. I knew she wasn't human and still I called her weak when she's one of the strongest people I know.
My eyes quickly goes wide as Willa's head snaps up abruptly, making eye contact with me. I can't help but smile slightly as I look into her emerald eyes.
Her nose suddenly takes in a large whiff of my scent. This makes her scramble up onto her feet as the scent of a mate is he most vivid scent known to a wolf.
She sniffs the air many times getting as much of my scent in her nose as she can.
As she stops sniffing the air she looks down to her paws. Here it is, she's going to finally figure out what she is.
Her eyes grow in size as she hops back surprised by her hands not being there. She lets out a distressed whine, which makes me frown.
But with her standing in front of me I finally figure what exactly she is.
Her wolf is pure white and a black crescent moon prints the bottom of her neck indicating that she's been marked.
Though what amazes me is the size of her wolf, it's bigger than most females. Shit, she's bigger than Faye.
She has Alpha blood in her.
I smile softly at her as she runs around panicking. Hopping on all fours, falling onto the ground. I run over to her lightly grasping her head between my palms, making sure she doesn't hurt herself.
Her breathing is heavy as she looks me in my eyes. "Hey, hey it's alright. You're alright," I tell her trying to get her to breathe.
She lets out a distressed whine as she tries to tell me something though it only comes out as a bunch of mangled sounds. I guess she doesn't get wolves can't speak.
I shush her quickly as I run my hands down her face, "You have to return the link between us. That's the only way we can communicate when we're wolves." She whines stomping her foot against the ground.
Willa's still upset about what happened earlier today. I see her distrust as she eyes me. What I said to her wasn't fair, hell it wasn't accurate.
Today, as I slammed the door behind me I regretted everything. How I saw tears stream down her face from me. How she pulled away from my touch as if it hurt her.

I bow my head, "I'm so sorry little one. I didn't mean what I said," I mumble.
She does nothing for a while until she reaches out inside my head trying to reconnect our link. I reach back helping her out, tying our bond back together.
I sigh happily as the link massages my mind gently.
That's until I hear a faint, almost broken voice appear. "Did you know?"
I growl at myself, regretting not telling her sooner. "Yes, But I didn't want to worry you."
"You know that's not fair Greyson. I deserved to know so I could've prepared."
"I know, I'm so sorry-" I pause shaking my head. "For everything."
She looks away from me, "Why'd you say what you did if you knew."
"I don't know if I'm being honest. But I'm so sorry, you're so powerful. You're not weak. You're such a powerful wolf," I repeat myself to get my point across.
Though strangely once I say my words I hear her breaths quicken once again.
My head snaps up quickly as I meet her eyes. They're wide with panic once again. "I'm a wolf. Oh my god I'm not a person. Why do I hear a voice? I'm going insane. This is just a dream, please I just want to be a human." She stumbles backwards as her heart beats wildly, I can hear it clearly. It's acting like it's fighting for it's life.
I shake my head resisting a smirk. She sounds just like what I did when I first shifted.
But my smirk quickly becomes a frown as I watch her stumbling all over the place. Fearing that she'd hurt herself I rush to her.
Though I know I won't be effective.
So I jump into a wolf, to comfort the wolf. The only thing that is logical.
I cower pathetically until I hear Greyson move from beside me. I see him effortlessly shift into his wolf shredding his outfit to pieces.
Our mate is stunning, is he not? The same female voice appears in my head. I look all around the forest looking for where it could've come from. But the only explanation is that it's coming from my head.
Greyson walks towards me, and I stumble backwards intimidated by his slow pace. There's an overwhelming feeling deep inside of me to bow down to him, showing submission.
He is the Alpha after all.
So I suffice with back away, stumbling slightly getting used to four legs.
I just can't believe my whole life I've been a werewolf. My whole life I've just been one fight away from turning.
Now I want to know more than ever who my birth parents are. Where they are. Why they left me. Why I was with human parents.
"Calm down Willa," Greyson tells me softly.
But he doesn't know what I'm going through. He doesn't know how it feels to have reality ripped from underneath you. How it feels to be a completely different person than you thought you were.
I can feel my breath being quickly inhaled and exhaled through my nose, barely any time to flow thoroughly. I feel my heart beating a million miles a second do to my panic.
My sight blurs as black dots dance across my vision. Willa calm down, the unknown voice comes into my head.
I want to rip my hair out tell this voice to get out of my head. I feel as if I'm going insane as a voice inside my head talks to me.
Whimpering is what's heard from my mouth, as my panic attack continues.

But then I feel something warm and soft rub against me. Once and then again until I acknowledge it. In a way it calms me down a bit.
Focusing all I have on making my eyesight not as blurry or spotty I look over to see what's doing this. Once I look over I see Greyson's soft blue eyes, as he presses his side against me.
I shiver involuntarily feeling him against me. I can't seem to take my eyes off of the beautiful creature he is. Next he rubs his head under my chin affectionately, making me purr with delight.
Feeling myself calm down, my breathing starts to even out. My heart starts beating at a regular pace. Once again for the umpteenth time, Greyson has calmed me down. He helps me through the panics better than anyone else.
Just tell him you're in love with him already, the voice tells me annoyed.
Greyson nudges my head with his muzzle slightly, taking my mind off of the voice."Are you alright?" He asks me not disappearing from my side.
My head bows looking down to my white paws. "Yes? No? I don't know?" I say not knowing how to feel. "This is all just so bizarre. I mean I've lived my whole life believing I was simple. Just a simple human. But now?" I blow out an annoyed breath, "Now I don't know what to do. How to act."
Suddenly Greyson bumps my side making me stumble greatly as I'm still not used to standing on all fours. I glare at him as a wolfy laugh escapes his lips. "You're still you Willa. The only thing that's changed is that now you're a werewolf. You have the same personality, the same likes and dislikes. You are still the same person."
I feel my lips quiver into a weird smile, God this is so weird. "Why are you so cute?" He asks, making my foot stomp down in annoyance.
"Stop making fun of me!" Grey laughs at me, but when he does it he doesn't look like he's straining a muscle in his face.
He walks closer to me, "I'm not!" He tells me, though I just sneer at him.
He definitely is.
Greyson rubs his cheek up against mine affectionately. Leaning into him my eyes close with delight, why is his touch a million times more addictive now than it was?
Face palming mentally I realize that now I feel the mate pull indefinitely. I'm a wolf now. Now I expiring the full effect, and I can already tell it's a hard force to fight.
"Have you talked to your wolf yet?" Grey asks sitting down on his hind legs. Pulling me out of my puzzling thoughts.
My eyes suddenly go wide as I hop in the air. That voice, that was my wolf this entire time.
Pacing back and forth in front of Greyson his head follows me back and forth. Then back and forth again. "She must hate me. Oh my god, I thought I was going insane. I must look insane to her." I say thinking out loud.
"She knows you're new to this. Plus she's seen everything through your eyes all your life. You must of thought it was a consciousness speaking to you, but it was her." Shit, he's right. I thought it was just my consciousness telling me to suck it up, giving me advice, telling me to be brave. But it was her, my wolf. "Just talk to her. I bet she doesn't think you're insane."
I growl annoyed with myself and with Greyson. But he's right, I am stuck with her for the rest of my life. That wasn't nice, she speaks up suddenly.
My pacing stops and I freeze, "Sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." I tell her, but she quickly scoffs at my apology.
I'm joking Willa, she laughs it off quickly making my breath exhale. But it's good to finally be talked to, she tells me softly.
Inwardly I smile at her. "It's nice finally talking to you..." I trail hoping to learn her name.
Quickly she gets it, Amara. My names Amara.
I look down from Greyson so he can't see my disgusting wolfy smile that I can't hide. I don't know, it just feels like I've gained another friend. "I see you hiding that smile," Greyson speaks up cockily. Quickly I turn around hiding my face.
Hearing him trot up behind me, I stop myself from smiling any longer. I've decided that I can only smile when I'm in my human form. Never as a wolf, or I'll get made fun of.
Greyson's furry coat rubs against mine as he comes next to me. Amara says exactly what I'm thinking. Damn this bond, it's stronger than ever.
This'll be the death of me.
"I know you were talking to her!" He says excitedly, "What's her name?" His tail wags happily as he steps in front of my face which only makes me roll my eyes.
"Amara," I tell him. "This is so bizarre."
"It is because you weren't raised like how I was," he specifies.
Well sorry I was dropped at a human's house when I was a baby, and raise like a human. I wanted to say. But I decided to keep my mouth closed.
I start pawing at the ground mindlessly not knowing what to say, and or act. Let's go run, you are a wolf now. Amara says, though I quickly refuse the idea. I just shifted today, I can barely walk correctly yet alone run.
"You're ready to shift back aren't you?" Greyson smirks over to me almost reading my mind. I just want to walk on two legs again. My head quickly nods as I shake out my fur. "So predictable," he shakes his head teasingly.
This only makes me bump his side harshly taking him a few steps to recover. My tail starts wagging involuntarily, and it almost scares me how it does that.
Like how does it move without me telling it to?
"Just for that, you're training extra tomorrow morning," Greyson sticks his nose in the air snottily
My jaw drops, "I swear to god Greyson if you wake me up at 3:30 tomorrow I will beat your ass during spar." I threaten.
Though this has little to no effect upon him, he just shrugs his shoulders. "We'll see about that." He'll beat me tomorrow no doubt. "Now I'm going to shift back so I can help you through it. It'll still hurt a little bit, but not as much as before." He tries to reassure me, emphasis on try because it really didn't put any confidence in me.
Before he starts to shift back I turn around to let him do it without me staring at him.
But let me tell you, it's hard to not turn around. I never got this urge before and look at him, but now I do. Bond, Amara clarifies for me.
Of course it is.
A few cracks, shuffles, and footsteps later Greyson appears next to me. I study him, curiously looking over his shirtless torso.
Will I ever get over how perfect he is?
Nope.
My mouth dries as he runs a hand through his hair looking down to me. His perfect face, his perfect body. He's everything and more.
Again how is he with me.
From his perfectly structured jawline, down to his solid calves, he's so of my league.
"Even as a wolf you ogle." He chuckles. "Nothing's really changed," growling I roll my eyes. Let me marvel at you in peace please and thank you. "Relax, if anyone's ogling it's me to you little one." He smiles, though I know he's just making me feel better.
Suddenly I nudge his hand, I want him to stroke my fur one time before I shift. If I like him playing with my hair as a human, what'd be the difference as a wolf.
He stares incredibly down to me, so I just nudge his hand again. "You're so high maintenance, you know that right?" Greyson asks squatting down a tad so he's in front of my face.
"Just a little," I tell him making his eyes roll slightly.
He places his hands on each sides of my face softly stroking through my fur. Slowly my eyes close because this feels damn good. He can play with my hair and or fur any time he'd like.
"You're unbelievable," he laughs smoothing down my perked ears before his hands disappear.
I have to resist the urge to whine once they leave their blissful stroking. "You did the exact same thing when I pet you. So don't even mister."
"Did not," he defends.
"Yes you did!" I stomp my foot, though my lips start twitching into a smile.
Greyson huffs out a breath surrendering, "Whatever," he smirks. He knows I won, "I got a sweatshirt while I was getting shorts. It should be big enough to go to your knees. Is this alright or would you feel better with pants as well?" He asks.
He knows that sometimes I'm not comfortable in my skin do to all of the scars decorating it. He knows me so well, and it surprises me sometimes.
But you know what? I'm just going to take the hoodie. There's no use in getting both hoodie and pants and having less clothes in the compartment. "Hoodie's fine," I tell him and he nods.
He smiles down to me before he sits down into the grass.
Grey picks mindlessly at the grass gathering all of his thoughts. Intensely he stares at the ground, thinking to himself. I'd kill to hear what exactly he's thinking. Though I don't ask.
Instead I walk up to him nuzzling his head snapping him out of thought. He laughs as I fiercely run my face against his just teasing him.
"Okay, okay!" Greyson tells me holding my head in place. He holds my head in front of his so I look into his eyes. His deep blue oceanic eyes, "Ready?" He asks seriously.
Maybe, "Yeah."
God I just don't want to go through that pain again, You'll be alright. You're strong Willa, Amara tells me, though I don't know if I can believe her or not.
"Alright little one," he tells me smiling. "Just think of yourself in your human form."
Nodding I close my eyes understanding what I have to do.
Quickly I picture my small frame. My chestnut hair falling down to my waist, paired with the faint freckles hidden upon my face. Seeing my emerald green eyes peering at my small body written with scars of the past.
My front leg snaps, matching with the other front leg. My immediate response is to scream as my bone breaks in two though a pained howl comes out.
The back legs quickly follow snapping themselves back into place sending me crashing to the ground.
The pain is terrible, but it still doesn't top transforming. No, the first shift was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I'm just glad I passed out during it.
When I fall my head is heading for the hard ground below me, though it's caught softly.
Feeling Greyson's hands catch my head makes me almost smile to myself, that is before I hear 30 different cracks and breaks take their turn going down my spine. Each vertebrae forming back into a human's spine, each bone cracking into place one by one.
I squirm uncomfortably as Grey holds me into place while my head rests in his lap.
Slowly my claws grow back into regular fingernails, as my canines disappear back into my gums. I whimper loudly with each crack, each shifting bone, each body part getting transformed back into a human body part.
My eyes clench tightly together as my muzzle starts to shrink. I groan as it sounds more like a growl than anything else.
In the process of my muzzle turning into a nose, it crack unexpectedly. This sends shocks of hurt throughout my whole face.
I feel my head jerk violently with the pain, but Greyson quickly catches it keeping it in place. "You're almost done, you can do this," he reassures me.
Suddenly my whimpers start turning into low cries, one last crack sends one last scream through the air.
This leaves me panting heavily as I feel sweat drip down my face and back, feeling cold suddenly with no fur on my skin.
Greyson strokes my sweat ridden hair from my forehead as it sticks disgustingly. Quickly he covers me up with the hoodie so I don't feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. "You did so good," he mumbles softly.
Looking dazed up at Greyson I feel myself swoon. I feel myself suddenly shiver as he touches the nape of my neck while playing with my hair.
Damned bond.
I blink lazily once, then twice, before I struggle getting them back open.
By now it's dark outside. I wonder how long those shifts actually took. I never even payed attention to how much time passed by. I was too keen on trying to keep my screaming under control.
But now that it's dark, and I've literally had one of the most eventful days in existence.
