《True Reddit Posts》Drawing The Perfect Circle

Opening a portal to a dimension of horrors doesn't work the way you might think. It doesn't take a mad genius billions of dollars and huge power sources. It's actually much simpler than that. All you have to do is draw a circle.
I used to be a math teacher. I loved my job, but I was terrible at drawing on the chalk board. My circles were always sloppy. So. I decided to dedicate a few hours each day to drawing the perfect circle freehand. That was a mistake.
For years I stood at my chalkboard carefully drawing with complete concentration. I set an alarm to gently remind me when my class would be starting so I could clean up and prepare. On one day I forgot to do that.
I had been drawing for what must have been hours in sublime concentration when I turned around to see my class gathered around me murmuring.
"That's a lot of circles" "Why is he drawing only circles?"
"Oh." I said "I'm sorry, I didn't realize the time. You see I've been..." my voice trailed off as I looked back at what I had just drawn. A circle, but not just any circle. A perfect circle. A completely beautiful, completely perfect circle.
I stared at it as my class continued to pester me. I stared deeply. I could hear it. Echoes, endless and haunting emanated from its center. Could they hear it? Could only I hear it? Voices. Chanting in unison. Whispering sumptuously. I could hear them. I could see them. They were inside. They were calling to me. They needed me.
I obliged them and they entered. They entered me.
Oh wondrous machinations that completed my soul, deep understanding that filled my veins, sensuous nothingness that enraptured my mind! The realization, the futility, the meaninglessness of our myopic existence! Oh woe to all who did not understand, to those that could not see as I!

These poor deluded creatures surrounding me, they could not hear, they could not see. I had to make them. I had to make them see, make them understand!
I had to.
I had to try.
But I could not make them see. They refused our message, our love, and in my failing the voices burned their entrails inside me. Deep inside my brain, my bones, my skull. I could not stop them. I surrendered to their beauty and in so doing I sealed my fate. I failed them, and they wailed. Their screams pierced my being and I could not drown them out no matter what I cut off.
They scream to this day, but it is much easier now. Now I am in another place and I am given things to numb my mind and so quiet the voices that are bound to me. I am usually restrained, but when I am released I draw. I draw circles. I draw every day but I cannot draw them to perfection. I never will.
LOVE..
He captured my heart, betrayed it, destroyed it.
I captured his liver, sautéed it, ate it.
It was a fair trade.

In this literary saga of cooking, an impulsive narrative was conducted after a string of unfortunate encounters. A life was spirited away and in turn, paved the path of optimism with... Food? Often times the language of the stomach speaks for itself. Hunger begets anger (hangry?) and sustenance can be truely food for the soul. This story revolves around a decent 24 year old chef and her cat. Devour, quench and appease yourself in this whimsical dish of delight. Bon appetite.
