"Taehyung, I have to say that you are quite charismatic." Mrs. Park chirped. Taehyung chuckled.
"Thank you, Mrs. Park. I try."
Jimin gripped his fork tighter, disliking how well Taehyung was getting along with his family. The taller would occasionally glance at Jimin across the table during dinner, but Jimin always looked away towards his parents or plate. Jimin was still hurt about everything and so he quickly finished his food and stood up to put his plate in the dishwasher. "Jimin, would you like me to give you guys another blanket?" Mr. Park asked. Jimin shrugged.
"It doesn't matter. I'm tired. Goodnight." Jimin hurried up the stairs, going to his room and shutting the door. He changed into pajamas and brushed his teeth before lying in bed, pulling the covers up to his chin. He really didn't want Taehyung to sleep here today. Soon, Taehyung walked into the room after saying goodnight to Jimin's parents. He saw Jimin lying down on the bed and as soon as he tried to look at the shorter's face, Jimin pulled the cover up over his head. Taehyung sighed. He didn't like arguing with people he lov—people that were his friends. Mrs. Park had offered him a mint-coloured toothbrush and so he walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth. After doing so, he placed the brush in the holder next to Jimin's white one. The taller stared at the two toothbrushes together, a feeling of permanence overtaking him. He walked back to the bed and carefully climbed over Jimin to lie down.
"Jimin?" Taehyung almost instantly whispered when his head hit the pillow. Of course, Jimin ignored him. "Jimin, let's sort it out." Why was he so keen to fix things between them? Jimin had insulted Ha-eun openly and Taehyung still wanted to be friends with him. Taehyung felt as though he was betraying Ha-eun, but he couldn't help it. "Jimin, please?"

Jimin turned around harshly, glaring at Taehyung, his eyes glistening in the moonlit room. "Shut the fuck up, Taehyung and go to sleep so morning can come faster and you can leave." Jimin hissed. He chuckled sarcastically after, tears brimming his eyes. "Y-You think you can say whatever you want, whenever you want no matter how much the words you're saying actually m-mean to someone. You had no right t-to say those things to me! Just because I like boys doesn't mean I like you. Not every damn gay person has a crush on your stupid, miserable, selfish, dense, disgusting ass. A-And I'm not going to sit around and let you mess with me! Y-You know what? I don't give a shit if you date that selfish pea-brained toad, because y-you're made for her. A-Assholes belong with each other after all." Jimin finished, panting afterwards and wiping his eyes furiously. He turned around, tugging the covers forcefully so that Taehyung was left bare.
The taller just lay speechless next to Jimin, unable to create sentences. Taehyung took a deep breath and tapped Jimin on the shoulder. The shorter shook his hand off and moved further way from him towards the edge of the bed. Taehyung sighed, lying on his back and looking up at the ceiling. "You're right. I-I shouldn't have said those things to you before. I-I was just mad that everyone was ganging up on my girlfriend. I'm sorry, Jiminie." Taehyung mumbled, turning his head to the side, hoping for any movement from the shorter. Jimin still didn't respond. "I know I don't have the right to ask for forgiveness, but please?" He heard Jimin sigh, barely audible. Taehyung decided to just take his chances, so he shuffled closer to Jimin and snaked an arm around the other's waist. Jimin's breath hitched in his throat and all he wanted to do was lean into the other boy. No! Have some dignity! Jimin stayed still.

Seeing as Jimin didn't exactly push him away, Taehyung melted into the other's warmth. He moved even closer until his chest was touching Jimin's back and he buried his nose in Jimin's hair to inhale the coconut scent he loved so much.
