《Power Moves - Exodus》Authors Notes: Frequently Asked Questions

Hey there Dear Readers ! As promised, below please find some explanations to your most frequent questions !!
Well this one is going to be a story on itself, so here goes:
If you have read and understood Royal High School, I am sure the theme of Social Class will come out quite prominently?
A large part of it, came from a pretty bad life experience, so here goes:
I went to an international school in the earlier part of my schooling days. Except this school really wasn't like a normal school.
Most of the people (i.e. 99.9%) at this school were ........some ( a relatively small portion) were so called working class like diplomat kids, kids from parents who worked at international organizations etc.
(Random Fact: I also had the President of the Country in my class .........I KID YOU NOT !). It wasn't that crazy with bodyguards or anything (but also I was pretty young , so if there was, I probably didn't have the understanding for it, Also the country isn't that big...so maybe it plays a role too).
Anyways although I was young (I would say I was probably 10 / 9 years old), I could feel the immense disparity between these kids and myself. For example these kids had chauffeurs, Cooks, drivers etc. Also they used to have these spending wars like who could "spend more" and / or who could destroy expensive items more....I remember on a 'dare' 1 kid asked the other kid to damage his really expensive laptop and just for fun of it I guess, the other kid smashed right into it.....the other rich kids just cheered him on.....Nothing was spared from these random 'dares' phones, etc....nothing.
Also their lunch packs didn't look anything like mine (I had basic sandwiches), these kids would have an assortment of snacks (chips, sweets, juice boxes, pastries, cakes oh and did I forget to mention that their drivers would drop off their meals at break time? )

I remember it was a trend for the rich kids to not buy any clothes in local shops and to be honest at that time .................. we definitely went through a rough patch so we probably weren't able to afford fancy schmancy stuff (But a story for another day ! And well let's just say there was a happy ending to that but yikes ! Some of these memories literally coming back to me now :-( !! )
Anyways I think I've painted a fair enough picture? This school was just something else, probably not the school I would recommend to anybody, but I guess that was just my personal experience.
The most horrible thing about it though.......yep you guessed it.........it was the kids ! (I have so many bad memories so I'll just try to keep it short, but if you can read in between the lines, they really knew how to sniff out the kids who were not as well off )
It was just a really negative experience and I am so thankful that I am where I am now !
ANYWAYS PLOT TWIST: So although I was treated.......... Well..............like something gross, I had (actually still have) a really beautiful older sister (Love you M !).
She was a revered at our school, the complete opposite of me, ironically the really popular kid ! People were actually shocked and ( seriously disappointed) that it was I who was her sister , I would hear that all the time "Are you REALLY M's younger sibling? " (like in disbelief, how can YOU be evenly remotely related to M ?!)
But I think that's when I realized something that really breaks across barriers (even class barriers), the thing that gives you that edge even in really challenging circumstances AND ESPECIALLY when you are at school.

Anyways that's basically where the premise of came from.
Side note: In case you were wondering, I did outgrow that awkward puberty phase, and I am now probably up to M's level :-) And I will just say THANK YOU LORD for that ! ...cause yikes, don't we all look strange in primary school though?!
Side note: Till this day I actually don't know what was their source of income (for the kids families to have that level of wealth) ........doesn't it sound strange ?! I know one or two kids whose family owned coffee and sugar plantations and they would export it to global markets, but the others, im not too sure.......if I ever reconnect with them on social media I might have to ask them that........or not...might come off as awkward ....or rude......hmm....okay let me leave that for now.
Ah.........Cut Throat was inspired by a real life person! (Random fact: About 2 years ago, this person saved me from a bunch of bullets ........True story ! Anyways if you are interested in hearing this story you can DM me, we were on a group trip in another country, but I don't want to put any country on blast ..and also I still think it's ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD)
Side Note: This person doesn't read (Like at ALL). So up till now, he doesn't quite know that there was a whole character built around and inspired by him ! But...maybe one day ...he might find out (do you think I should tell him?!) :-) ? but for now it will just be our little secret dear readers :-) !
So Princess pretty much getting through school, Primary School, high school. Kids were so so mean to him.....in fact it would probably go beyond mean....they were downright CRUEL to him. Maybe it was jealousy, (because his mind was so brilliant) or maybe it was prejudice because he was different...but we will DEFINITELY FIND OUT MORE in depth about him and how he came to be in the lives of Zach and Xavier in BOOK 2 so stay tuned !!
my dear readers....... is going to be an interesting story so please stay tuned for book 2. Unfortunately I can't answer too much on this as it plays a role in the plot for book 2, so please bear with me , but I promise it will be worth the wait :-) !!
Okay, there ! I think I have answered most of the FAQs that I have received, either in the comment sections, or via the Inbox. But I am also much interested in hearing from dear reader ! How was your primary school years like? Any experiences that may have made a life impression on you? Tell your story and take me with you in the comment section ! Like always I literally read every comment x0x0 Stay Safe !
