Trying that almost feels like a sin

Sacrifice
For generations, the coastal kingdom of Phimild has been plagued with waters infested with sirens. The viscious aquatic demigods armed with a song to bewitch the mind and strength to sink ships have a taste for human flesh and a tendency to fiercely protect their territory. With a dependency on the sea and a desperation to survive, a blood sacrifice was born to make an offering to sate the cravings of the aquatic monsters every few moons in an effort to protect their ships in between.
