"Ah!" Lightning yelled shooting up in the bed.
He looked around and saw he was in the motel and Chloe was fast asleep.
"We gotta get outta here." He whispered.
He walked in Doc's workshop.
"Has anyone seen the Sheri-oh! Oh my gosh!"
"What do you want?" Doc asked with a mean look.
"Get a good peek city boy?" Sheriff asked as he shook his butt as he was getting an X-ray of his back.
"I just need my daily gas from the Sheriff." McQueen replied as he covered his eyes.
"Wait for him at Flo's now get out of here!" Doc yelled.
"I've been trying to get out here for 3 days!" McQueen replied.
I walked away and kicked a can into a garage. It made a super loud breaking noise. Oh boy that can't be good, he thought to himself. He thought it would be good to walk inside and see what damage had been done. I slowly walked in and looked around.
The garage was drowned in boxes of useless junk and covered with layers of dust.
"Doc it's time to clean out the garage buddy come on." He said.
He then saw something shimmer in the corner of his eye. He moved a few boxes and saw the one thing he's always wanted. The Piston Cup.
"What? He has a Piston Cup?" He questioned.
He looked around and saw 2 more. They all had his name on them and they were the year 1951.
"Oh my gosh. 3 Piston Cups."
"The sign says stay out." Doc spoke.
McQueen jumped and saw him standing at the door way.
"I don't believe-"
"I knew you couldn't drive. I didn't know you couldn't read." He said and started pushing Lightning out of the garage.

"Go wait at Flo's like I told you." He said.
"But you're the fabulous Hudson hornet. Oh we gotta talk. You can teach me all of your tricks."
"I already tried that." He replied.
"But you've won 3 Piston Cups. Look at those trophies!"
"You look. All I see are 3 empty cups." He replied closing the garage on me.
McQueen ran to Flo's where everyone was.
"Did you know that Dic was a famous race car??" He asked.
Everyone looked at him confused. They then started laughing.
"Our Doc Hudson?" Sheriff chuckled.
"Yeah he was the fabulous Hudson Hornet."
"Fabulous?" Flo questioned, "I haven't seen him drive over 10mph. I mean have you ever seen him race?"
"No but I wish I could. He won 3 Piston Cups."
Mater spit out his drink, "he did what in his cup?"
"I think the heat's starting to get to the boy." Sheriff laughed.
"Look how red he is!"
"Are you sick buddy?"
Suddenly, McQueen's race car was being filled with gas because Sally brought it over there.
"Hey!" Sheriff said.
"Don't worry Sheriff you can trust me." She said.
"I know I can it's him I'm worried about." He answered pointing to McQueen.
"Well I trust him." She smiled, "come on let's take a drive."
"A drive?" McQueen questioned.
"Don't you big city racers ever just take a drive?" She asked.
"Uh no. No we don't." He answered.
The gas pump jumped, signaling that it was done. Sally got in her blue Porsche and drove on the road. McQueen got in his race car and drove on the road as well. He looked at the road that lead away from Radiator Springs. Sheriff stared at him.

"Hey Stickers! You coming or what?" Sally smiled.
She drove off and he soon followed her.
"Okay you got me out here where we going?" He asked.
"I don't know." She shrugged.
McQueen sped up a bit. Sally did the same. McQueen did it again. And Sally zoomed off.
"Whoa!" He said and followed her.
They drove a nice way around. McQueen got covered in mud and leaves but he could care less. Once he saw a waterfall, he suddenly slowed down to admire its beauty. They then stopped at an abandoned building.
"What is this place?" He asked.
"Wheel a well. Used to be the greatest motel." She answered.
McQueen looked at the oof rusted supplies, "this place?"
They walked in the abandoned building and looked around.
"Ya know I don't get it. How does someone like you end up in a place like this?" He asked.
Sally chuckled, "it's quite simple really. I was a attorney in LA."
"Oh were you? We're you rich?"
"What?"
"Just clues to the puzzle." McQueen shrugged.
Sally chuckled, "yeah well that was my life and I never felt happy."
"....yeah-really?"
"So I left California. Just drove and drove until I finally broke down here. Doc fixed my car, Flo took me in, and I never left." She explained.
"Why didn't you ever go back?" Lightning asked.
"I fell in love." She answered.
"Oh...." McQueen said sadly, "someone with a corvette?"
"No." Sally laughed, "I fell in love with this."
They walked to see a beautiful view of where they drove, Radiator Springs, and the highway right next to the town.
"They're driving right past by they don't even know what their missing!" Lighting said.
"It wasn't always like that." Sally said.
"Really?"
"They built that highway and everyone saved 10 minutes of driving. Before then people would drive the Radiator Springs to have a good time." She explained.
"Oh." Lightning replied.
Sally looked up at him, "what was happening with Chloe yesterday? Is she alright?"
Lightning hated the feeling that what Chloe thought the other day gave him. He nervously rubbed the back of his neck.
"She was terrified that I would take her back to the orphanage." He answered.
"But you would never do that. Would you?" She asked.
"Never!" He answered, "I adopted her because the moment I saw her she instantly looked like my daughter."
"What made her think about it then?" She asked.
".....Her former families have adopted her only for abusive reasons or worse." He answered.
Sally gasped, "oh my god. That's horrible!"
"She was scared that I would become one of them and I would hate to turn into them." He said.
"But she's okay now, right?" She asked.
"I believe so. I want to be the best dad I can be to her." Lightning answered, "because I love her."
"She loves you, Lightning. She talks about you all the time when you're working." Sally replied.
"She does?" He asked.
Sally smiled, "yeah. And from the position you're in right now, I think you're doing a great job of being the best you can be for her."
Lightning smiled, "thanks Sally."

8 142P.A.R.A.D.O.X. PROJECT: Aeon Genesis
The first project focusing on four protagonists within the same world set around fictional 14th-century Europe. This is the first P.A.R.A.D.O.X. PROJECT focusing on 3 (+1) protagonists within the same world set around fictional 14th-century-esque Europe. Each story has its own protagonists (Male or Female Lead), genres (mainly Western Fantasy), and can be read as a standalone. Status: OngoingUpdate(s) per week: 1Words per chapter: 3000 - 6000 *** ‘A human or not; a king or a servant; hope or despair; a hero or a villain.’ Depending on one's perspective and how each story portrays, one will view an individual or a group as evil or virtuous. Because of that, it depends on the reader and listener to believe which one is the truth. More people read and trust multiple (trusted?) sources that either complement or contradict one another. The contradiction becomes the source of debates between those who believe and those who don’t. From that difference in belief, two groups appear: The Majority and The Minority. The majority, having more people, suppress the minorities’ beliefs, claiming theirs, the majorities’, to be the truth. However, the majority are not only composed solely of those who share the same belief but also those who know the truth but afraid to admit it. They have to keep quiet and turn a blind eye for their safety. The majority had to submit to those with power and authority. With the majority under control, those with power and authority can create, manipulate, and/or fabricate truth and lies by force. The reason was for one’s or group’s personal benefits. In the end, there is no such thing as ‘absolute truth’; only sugar-coated lies created by the top. Don’t believe me? It is up to you to decide. Go and read it yourself.
