Cruz, Jackson, and Rise take a tour of the kingdom outside of it. "Cruz..." Jackson asked Cruz.
"Hm...?" Cruz responded to Jackson. "Well... your friends, it was really cool..." Cruz rejoices when he says that. "Thank you, Jackson." Jackson sighs and tells Cruz and Rise his past.
Jackson: Hey guys... Actually, I've been alone since birth.
Cruz: What?
Rise: Really?
Jackson: Yeah... When I was young my mother told me not to play with kids outside...
Jackson (kid): Mother, can I play with the kids out there?
Leila: You want to play with the kids at outside? Oh, Jackson.... You can't go out...

Jackson sighs and approaches Leila and hugs

(Leila Kisses Jackson Forehead)

When Jackson says it, Cruz and Rise understand how lonely Jackson is.
"Whoa..." Rise makes a sad face and resonates. And Cruz talked to Jackson.
"Jackson, I fully understand your mind. But, when you think about the passing past, you're rather stumbling. So the past is the past. If you forget and find your own true happiness, miracles will happen in your future. Might not know... "Cruz comforts Jackson. Listening to Rise, Jackson and Cruz smile.
Jackson: Yeah... You're right. As Lightning told me, He told 'you to forget the past and find a true future.' So, I won't give up!

Cruz: Yeah! if you leave it like this... your face will be... (laughs)
Jackson: What do you say? (Embarrassment)
Everyone: (laughs)
At the kingdom, Queen, King, prepares to raise the lantern to find the prince on the lost prince's birthday.
Queen is already, then when she sees King's sad face, touch his face 'make sure your son can find it.' she thought, and sad smile it. And then, Sunny Rose came it.
She comforts his father, opens the door, and before the lanterns are lit, the three look at each other and raise the lanterns. And in succession, the people of the kingdom, see the lanterns of King, Queen, and princess, and the people raise lanterns.
In the meantime, Rise continues to paddle, while Cruz and Jackson play by touching the sea. And...

(Let's see the light that, Cruz sheds in the sea.)
All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking
(The ship moves as the Cruz moves)
(Jackson and Rise fall out of balance)
(Cruz sees where the light comes from)
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been
(Cruz amazed at the rise of lanterns)
Now I'm here blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here suddenly I see
Standing here it's all so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be
And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
(The impressed cruise sees the lights dancing)
(Rise is beautiful,and open his eyes glow.)
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
(Cruz come nervous)
All that once everything looks different
(Cruz looking back after shining from behind)
Now that I see you
(Jackson with 2 Lanterns)
(Pleasant Cruz)
Cruz: Jackson...?
Jackson: Hm...?
Cruz: Actually I... I like you...
Jackson: What...? (Embarrassed)
Cruz: It was actually a little scary... But, I'm not scared anymore... Do you know what I mean?
Jackson: I think I know...
Cruz: (smile)
(They put lights together at the same time)
All those days chasing down a daydream
All those years living in a blur
All that time never truly seeing
Things, the way they were
(Jackson looks at the lantern and sees the Cruz)
Now she's here shining in the starlight
(Cruz raises again when the light comes down.)
Now she's here suddenly I know
(Cruz sees Jackson)
If she's here it's crystal clear
(Jackson gives Cruz a warm smile)
(Jackson is next to the Cruz.)
I'm where I'm meant to go
(Just noticed Jackson loves Cruz.)
[ Cruz & Jackson ]
And at last I see the light
[ Jackson ]
And it's like the fog has lifted
[ Cruz & Jackson ]

With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
