_

The girl sighed, aggressively defending herself as she typed another message. It's been several days ever since her phone died during their call and Jungwon has been sulking all day because of it.

_

i swore on my dear grandmother jungwon

:

i confessed to you how i wanted to spend more time with you 😞

MY PHONE DIED

:

Her hand stopped in their tracks as she stared at her phone in shock. Were her eyes betraying her?

_

:

why? do you want to ask me on a date?

:

yeah

_

The second wave of shock hit her right in the face as she clasped her hand over her mouth, shaking her head. Was he serious?

_

:

:

After that there was no answer, making the girl feel slightly unsure. But she just shrugged it off, convincing herself that he was called to his dance practice like always. Getting back to work, her hand slightly brushed against her bag which was opened widely. Revealing nothing other than enhypen's newest album.

Her face was now flushed as she let out a groan, letting her own head drop onto the cash desk.

Why did she buy it? She didn't even have enough money to buy herself lunch, but she still decided to buy an album which costed like half of her daily income. She must have been possessed by a demon.

"How am I even going to play it? I don't have a CD player..." The girl raised an eyebrow, gently taking out the quadratic album, making sure to not drop it.

Her grip was safe and gentle as if a baby was in her hands.

The door's bell suddenly rang, causing the precious album to slip from her hands and hit the floor with a loud thud. The customer immediately ran up to her, worried and sorry. The stranger picked up the dropped album while the girl on the other hand gulped, afraid. "It's fine...thank you." She quickly said, taking the album into her arms, hugging it.

The stranger wore a mask and a base cap which was deeply pulled down, making it impossible for her to look into their eyes. They even wore gloves. Black gloves, fitting to their black jacket.

The stranger looked more than sketchy, the girl thought.

Not exchanging another word, the girl turned away, pretending to be busy with the cash desk as she put away her album. Her eyes were directed to the ground the whole time as nervousness was visible on her face. Maybe she looked into true crime too often. Or maybe it was just her anxiety acting up again, but she was scared.

It was dark.

She was alone.

This was a perfect crime scene.

The stranger stayed at the same spot for another ten seconds, before they decided to look around the store only to end up buying nothing. Going outside, the stranger continued to stand in front of the convenience store's door, making the girl shook her head in fear and disbelief.

"What are they still doing here..?" Sweat dripped down her forehead. Her eyes glanced at the clock.

Only 15 minutes more till her shift would end.

Anxiously glancing around, she decided to pack her bag and go home bravely, without showing an ounce of fear to the stranger.

Step one, count the money. Step two, turn off the lights. The girl slowly walked over to the door and for some reason the stranger still didn't leave.

Pitch black. There was no turning back now.

After opening the door, not only her but the stranger was startled as well. She quickly walked past them, clutching tightly onto her bag.

And all of a sudden she felt a gloved hand on top of hers, swinging her around on a whim.

And before the two of them knew it, she already whacked her bag across the stranger's face.

_

:

i said i'm sorry already

:

you were the one who hit me with your bag!

and you were the one creeping behind me like a fucking predator!

:

:

:

but hey we finally met each other face to face :)

wow. i'm so happy. i'm crying happy tears.😐

:

cmon on!!!

:

don't be like that

how did you even find me

:

are you stalking me??

:

during our call a while ago i saw the convenience store sign

and looked through the whole city for the exact same one

:

i didn't stalk you

that's what you call stalking

:

oh

:

:
