Nervously you fumble with your hands in your lap and look over the crowd of people. Your heart was beating fast and loud, almost as if there was a second heartbeat, but that was impossible were probably just the nerves running through your body.
''Stop fumbling,'' Jieun nudges you with her elbow, ''You're making me nervous.''
''I am already nervous,'' You whispered back, ''There are so many people.''
''You don't even have to say anything,'' Jieun replied, ''You walk up to there, sign some papers and go on your way.''
''I know, I know,'' You replied and started fumbling again, with your dress this time.
Today was your graduation, you would receive the paper you had been working hard for the past years. You had struggled through the assignment but in the end, they had approved it and now you were here at your graduation. With a bright future ahead of you working at Bighit, first as a technical assistant and then as Junior editor. The past months had flown by and a lot had happened in those months. You were ready to leave everything behind and start at your new job! The BTS tour had started last weekend they kicked off the tour with the first two concerts in Seoul, in two days you would fly with BTS to America to continue the tour.
''Lee Haneul!'' The man leading the graduation ceremony said loudly through the microphone.
Haneul who was sitting to your left looked at you with wide eyes, ''That's me.''
''Yes,'' You grabbed Haneul's arm and pushed her forward, ''Go! Get your degree!''
Haneul smiled at you and walked forward, when she reached the podium she said down next to the chancellor of the university. She looked at you and Jieun and gave her a bright smile and a thumbs up. The chancellor handed her some papers and pointed to a few places where she needed to sign. After she signed the paper the chancellor carefully put them in a portfolio handed it to her and congratulated her and the university photographer snapped some pictures of the event. Haneul was smiling brightly when she came back to her seat and the next student's name was called.
''Aaah,'' She sighed relieved, ''I'm glad that's over.''
''Let me see!'' Jieun exclaimed excited, Haneul showed her the portfolio with her signed degree in it, ''Oooooh! It's official now!''
''I can't believe it, right!'' Haneul exclaimed excitedly.
''Sssssh,'' A girl student behind us shushed us annoyed, Jieun glared at her but sat back in her seat quietly. She had been kind out loud during the ongoing ceremony and knew it.
More names where called and you and Jieun patiently waited for your turn. It seemed like hours until your names were finally called.
''L/N Y/N.''
Your name resonated loudly through the room and it took you a while to realize it was your name that was called. the heartbeat in your chest exhilarated even more and this time you were sure there was a second heartbeat in your chest. The familiar feeling beating slower and more steadily then yours. Haneul and Jieun both nudged you at the same time and pushed you forward. With trembling legs you walked to the podium, you looked over your shoulder checking the crowd, but you couldn't find Yoongi's face in the crows. This was absurd this was a busy graduation ceremony he couldn't be here, he would draw way too much attention. Your eyes landed on the back of the crowd and you saw your parents and brother sitting next to each other. All three of them had a huge grin on their face and gave you a thumbs up. You gave them a bright smile before shaking your thoughts about Yoongi out your head, it must be your imagination. A result of your nerves playing a game with you. You looked back to the front and walked to the graduation podium.

''Hello, y/n,'' she smiled at you and handed you some papers, and started pointing to different places on the papers ''you need to put your initials on every page and sign at the last page on this line and most important you need to sign this, your degree.''
After signing all the paper you gave them back to her she put them all in a portfolio and stood up. You followed her example and quickly stood up and awkwardly bumped your knee on the chair you had been sitting on and you suppressed a yelp from pain. The chair tilted backward dangerously far but luckily didn't fall over. The chancellor ignored it completely and held out his hand.
''Congratulations,'' she said when you shook her hand and then handed you the portfolio with your degree. You smiled while the photographer took a few quick pictures. when everything was done you practically ran back to your chair, glad it was all over. However, now you started to get nervous about the next step. Even though you had told your parents about your job as a technical assistant and that you were going on tour with BTS. They had reacted positively but also confused, they were aware of your dreams of becoming a junior editor and were confused as to why BigHit would first over you a job as a technical assistant. It has been months since you had met Yoongi but your parents still didn't know about him. You didn't want to tell them over the phone and hadn't had the chance to meet up with them and you knew the moment that you would tell them the news they would want to meet him as soon as possible. Your relationship hadn't been ready for that yet, but the last weeks had assured you that everything was going to be fine in the end and you had decided that today was the day that you were going to tell them everything.
Jieun was the last of the three of you to receive her degree and when her name was finally called she strutted to the podium with confidence and a huge grin on her face. When she came back with her portfolio she showed it to you proudly. You congratulated her and shared her excitement. Soon after the ceremony was overand slowly the crowd started to disperse. Students grouped with the parents and friends and shared their new achievements.
''We did it!!'' Jieun yelled excitedly and pulled you and Haneul in a warm hug.
''Congratulations!'' You yelled excitedly to the two of them.
''Congratulations.''
You would recognize that voice anywhere and quickly spun around. In front of you was a man, vaguely similar to Yoongi, no it was Yoongi. His appearance was so different from his usual self that it took you a moment to realize it was him.
''Yoongi!'' you exclaim excited and throw your arms around him, ''What are you doing here!?''
''Shhh,'' He shushed you, ''don't yell my name so loudly, I'm undercover.''
Jieun and Haneul chuckled, and you looked behind you.
''Jieun did a good job disguising him didn't she?'' Haneul smiled brightly and leaned on Jieun.
You looked back at Yoongi, his black hair was curly and Jieun had done great job at make-up hiding his unique features and making him look like someone complelty different. His eyes looked smaller and his lips thicker.
Jieun smiled back and gave you a thumbs up, ''Always at your service.''
''Y/n,'' You heard your mother call, ''Congratulations!''

She hugged you tightly and kissed you on your cheek. Your father did the same and your brother also hugged you but instead of a kiss, he gave you a flick on the forehead.
''Hey!'' You growled, ''That hurt.''
''Instead of a pat on the back, a pat on the head because that's what you used to get this,'' He said pointing to your portfolio, ''Congratulations sis.''
You groaned from his horrible joke, but also smiled nostalgic, ''It's been a long time Minjung.''
''We are going to find our parents too,'' Haneul said and waved you goodbye with Jieun.
''See you soon!,'' You waved back.
''Definitely,'' Jieun said excitedly, ''You aren't going to leave without a goodbye party!''
You turned back to your parents and brother to notice your mother staring at Yoongi who was standing awkwardly next to you.
''Aren't you going to introduce us?'' Your mother asked you, ''I saw you two hugging earlier so you must be close but I don't think we have met before?''
''Uh, well,'' You rubbed the back of your neck awkwardly and felt how your face started to heat up. How were you going to do this, ''Mom, dad, Minjun, this is....''
You paused for a moment looking at Yoongi who was silently panicking.
''This is Daehyung,'' you pulled Yoongi closer to you, ''He... We are soulmates.''
Everyone gave you a confused look including Yoongi. You didn't want to lie about who Yoongi was but breaking the news to your parents that your soulmate was a world-famous idol and rapper in the middle of busy graduation hall just didn't seem like an option. When all of you all in another place with fewer people you would explain everything to them. The suspense was killing you until your mother broke the silence.
''Daehyung, huh,'' she said and slowly a smile appeared on her face, ''It's very nice to meet you!''
With every word, she spoke more excitement resonated within her voice and she greeted him warmly and giving him hug.
''A degree and a soulmate?'' Minjun smiled at you, ''You are full of surprises.''
Your father also greeted him politely, ''So, where did the two of you meet?''
Yoongi gave you a panicked look, you had already given him a different name.
''It's a long story dad,'' you smiled at him, ''I will tell you all about it over dinner, okay?''
''Okay, okay,' he replied, ''I won't ask more questions then, how are you, darling?''
''Good! Very good,'' You replied happily, ''It's nice to see you all again.''
''Likewise,'' Minjun smiled, ''You need to visit me more often, we don't even live that far from each other.''
''When I come back I will come by sometime, okay?'' You replied and smiled at him.
''I would love that and so would Chaeryoung,'' He said, ''She would love to get to know you and your soulmate better.''
Chaeryoung was his long-time girlfriend, who you had seen just a few times.
''I would love to get to you know your soulmate too,'' your mother who had been awkwardly staring at Yoongi the whole time said, ''Let's go get dinner.''
''Why the hurry?'' your father asked chuckling.
''Well,'' your mother pointed at you, ''y/n said she was going to tell the long story over dinner so let's go!''
Since the university was in the middle of the city, it was easier to walk to a restaurant then get your parent's car and drive.
''I've made a reservation to a restaurant close by,'' your brother said, ''I thought a lot of parents and their childeren were probably going out to eat so I made a reservation to be sure. So follow me.''
You, Yoongi, and your family followed your brother along the busy streets of Seoul.
''What was that?'' Yoongi softly whispered when your family was at a safe distance they wouldn't' hear him.
''I'm sorry,'' You replied, ''I hadn't exactly told them about you yet, I was planning on it, today. It didn't seem like a good plan to tell them everything with all those people.''
''I thought they knew,'' Yoongi said confused, ''It's been months I gathered you had told them at some point.''
You looked at the ground a little bit embarrassed, ''No, I wanted to tell them in person, I hadn't expected you to show up at my graduation. Don't get me wrong I loved that you were there! I just hadn't expected it, if I knew you were there I would tell them sooner. Don't worry I'll explain everything to them over dinner.''
''It's okay,'' Yoongi replied, ''I understand, I wouldn't have been happy to have a long conversation about me in the graduation hall anyway, thanks for saving me from your father.''
You laughed, ''Don't worry he is nice, he won't bite.''
It was just a short walk to the restaurant and after just 5 minutes you had already arrived. It was a cute small Korean bbq place and the waiter brought you to the table somewhere in the back of the restaurant where there was a larger round table. Everyone settled on a seat around the table, you barely had taken off your jacket when your mom started again.
''So, now that we are here,'' she impatiently said, ''tell us everything!''
You narrowed your eyes at your mother, she must have noticed something had been going.
''Okay, well,'' you might as well just tell everything right now, ''We met a few months ago.''
''A few months ago?!'' your father asked surprised, ''And you are telling us only now because?''
''It's complicated,'' you responded calmy but the reaction from your father made you feel nervous and you started fumbling with your hands again until you felt Yoongi's hand slipping in your hand squeezing it tightly. ''We soulmate bonded at a concert.''
''A concert?'' your mother asked curiously, ''What kind of concert?''
''His concert,'' you said looking at Yoongi.
''What?'' your mother and Minjun asked in unison.
''His name isn't Daehyun,'' you said spilling the truth, ''It's Yoongi, he is member of BTS.''
''Yoongi?'' Minjun asked with his mouth hanging open, ''Suga? Agust d?''
You nodded quietly in response.
''Whoah,'' Minjun exclaimed surprised, '' Chaeryoung is a huge fan of him, she practically forced me to listen to all his songs.''
''BTS?'' Your mother asked surprised, ''That famous boy group that you were always talking about?''
Again you nodded in response.
''Everything just had been so complicated,'' You explained, ''His company didn't approve of relationships and we had to keep it hidden from everyone, and I knew that when I told you about him you wanted to meet him. That just wasn't an option at the time and I didn't want to disappoint you or explain everything over the phone.''
''Honey...'' your mother said in a sweet voice, ''You know you can tell us everything, we are happy for you, we are always here for you.''
''We couls have helped you,'' your father replied, ''What is the companies name?''
''Dad,'' you faltered, speaking in a soft voice, ''They are a multi-millionaire company they wouldn't have just listened.''
''Besides,'' Yoongi said speaking up, ''All the issues have been resolved.''
''What do you mean?'' Your mother asked carefully.
''The company found out, we still don't know how but someone informed them,'' you explained, ''They were furious at Yoongi at first, but after a while, they turned around and everything is okay now. The company now knows but the public can't know so you can't tell anyone, okay?''
''It must have been difficult,'' Minjun said, ''I know how famous BTS is, your life is never going to be the same again. Your new job, it's at BigHit isn't it? It's because of Yoongi isn't it?''
''Not exactly,'' you shook your head and explained the whole situation with the internship and everything that had happened, all the while Yoongi was holding your hand under the table. Your father and mother looked at you in awe.
''Honey...'' she said when you were finished, ''You could have called, you didn't need to go through all that alone. We would have understood.''
''I know,'' you replied, ''It's just, I wanted to be able to this myself. I am an adult and.''
''You are still my daughter,'' your father said interrupting you, ''We are here for you, always.''
''Thanks,'' you smiled at them, ''I'm sorry for not telling you everything, immidiately.''
''It's okay,'' your mother replied, ''I'm just glad that you are okay and that you are happy. You are happy right?''
''I am!'' you responded smiling, ''I got offered my dream job and I get to work with the most amazing person ever.''
You smiled at Yoongi who smiled back at you.
''Then we are happy for you too,'' your father responded, ''Now that we got that over with, what do you guys want to eat?''
