You and Eunmi arrive at the office party in a taxi. Eunmi had insisted on taking a taxi. Even though you thought it was too expensive but she refused to go by subway in her formal wear. Eventually, you gave in mostly because she offered to cover most of the costs.

The two of you are some of the first people to arrive and are directed to your assigned seats. It isn't long before other coworkers come in and the restaurant is packed. When everyone is there the CEO stands up and gives a speech about how hard everyone has worked to be able to realize the upcoming tour. How proud he is of every employee in the room. He holds up his glass and everyone in the room kinks glass with there nearby coworkers before everyone one-shots their first glass of soju of the night. The glasses are soon filled up again and while the waitresses slowly start bringing out food everyone starts talking with each other. You're sitting at a table with most of the younger employees and besides Eunmi you don't know any of them.

''You're the new editor intern, right?'' A girl with long curly brown hair opposite from you asks, ''I've seen you around the building.''

''Yeah,'' You reply a little bit awkwardly, ''I'm Y/n, Nice to meet you.''

The girl is wearing a beautiful white lacy blouse and her make-up is perfectly done. It's so perfect it makes you feel insecure by your look even though Jieun went all out with it.

''I am Soo-ah, a junior stylist and make-up artist,'' She replies with a smile, ''Nice to meet you.''

Well, that explains the outfit and the perfect make-up. The other people on the table also introduce themselves to you. Everyone is from different departments but everyone seems nice.

''Eunmi your one the few employees from your department who is going to join us on the tour right?'' Soo-ah asks Eunmi while pouring her another drink.

''Yeah,'' Eunmi replies with a smile, ''It will be my first tour, I am really looking forward to it.''

''You'll love it,'' Another girl who introduced herself as Cha-in a make-up artist in the same department as Soo-ah, ''It's going to be crazy busy and you'll be exhausted but it's worth every second.''

''I will miss you in the office,'' You say to Eunmi, ''I hope I'll still be working there when you get back.''

''I'm sure you will!'' Eunmi smiles brightly at you, ''I've seen your edits they are amazing! They would be idiots to not hire you, you are seriously talented.''

''Thanks,'' You feel your face getting red and hide it by taking a sip of soju and letting your hair fall over your face a little bit.

Soo-ah starts talking about her experiences on her first tour. How she had to carry three suitcases to the airport in her high heels and learned to wear sneakers to the airport instead. Everyone laughs at her story, when suddenly you feel something in your chest, his heartbeat. You sit up straight and look over your should to the doors of the restaurant. His heartbeat get's stronger with each second and you watch a black van pull up in front of the restaurant and seven slim handsome men get out of the car.

''What is it?'' Eunmi follows your gaze to the doors of the restaurant and lets out a soft gasp when Seokjin enters the restaurant.

''You didn't tell me they would be coming too,'' You whisper at Eunmi and gulp down your glass of soju.

''Of course they're here too,'' Eunmi gives you a confused look, ''They're employees. Besides we all work to perfect their performance. They should be celebrated with us.''

''You're right,'' You sigh, ''I just wasn't prepared for- Omg''

Your mouth falls open when Yoongi enters, you've never seen him in formal wear, when he's in the office or comes over he is wearing casual clothes. He looks stunning! There's no way you're going to be able to keep your eyes off him tonight. You feel your heart get even stronger in your chest and clasp you hand over it. Yoongi's eyes wander around the restaurant and when his eyes fall on you they linger for a moment before he turns away and follows Seokjin to their table. You're sure your heart stopped for a moment when he looked at you and you felt your face grow red. Somehow it felt like it should be obvious to the room what was going on because his heartbeat in your chest was so loud it felt as if the whole room would be able to hear it. You knew that was crazy, no one knew. No one was able to hear his heartbeat in your chest. If only your stupid heart would calm down you would survive this night.

''I know right,'' The guy on your right says, ''They look like angels.''

''You should see them live during a concert. Their charisma kills every fangirl's heart instantly,'' Soo-ah adds, ''The fans go crazy the moment they enter the stage.''

''I guess I'll be missing out then,'' You turn your back towards their table and try to calm yourself. you're being way too obvious this isn't good.

''Want some more soju?'' Eunmi asks smiling at you. You gladly hold up your cup so she can pour you another drink which you gulp down almost instantly. You're going to need it to be able to survive this night. Luckily the waitress comes to your table and puts down some dishes and turns on the grill in front of you.

''Whoah,'' You exclaim when the waitress leaves and you get to take a good look at all the delicious food on the table, ''That looks so good!''

You feel your phone vibrate in your pocket and you get it out to quickly look if it's something important.

Yoongi: you look beautiful tonight

You smiled like an idiot at your phone while another message pops up.

Yoongi: The dress looks beautiful on you.

Even though Yoongi isn't saved under his name on your phone you still tried to hide your phone a little so no one, not even Eunmi who was sitting right beside you was able to read the messages on the screen. She could still be suspicious since she doesn't even know you were dating anyone. Quickly you sent him a message back

You: You look more beautiful, have you looked in the mirror? You look amazing in that dress shirt!

You put your phone back in your pocket and have to resist the urge to look over your shoulder to see his reaction to your message. This was going to be harder than you thought.

Somehow you make it through dinner without difficulties and when the waitresses gather all the dishes the CEO announces that the party is going to continue in another venue and starts ordering people to go outside. Everyone gets up and scatters. You take this moment to flee the scene and go to the bathroom. When you sit down on the toilet seat you realize how much soju you have already consumed. The world around you is slowly spinning. The alcohol has calmed down your heart a little bit and his heartbeat seemed to have calmed down too. You have to be a little bit careful though, Yoongi gets just as drunk as you. His world must be spinning too. Before leaving the bathroom you check your make-up in the mirror and reapply your lipstick. Then you take one last deep breath and walk back into the chaos of the restaurant. You quickly locate Eunmi and join her and some other employees in a taxi on your way to the next location, a little bar downtown.

When you enter the bar the CEO has already ordered a round of drinks and everyone who enters gets handed one. You stay with the same group you had dinner with, you didn't know anyone else.

''Y/N, is it?'' A familiar voice says behind you.

You turn around and freeze when you see it's Namjoon, what was he doing? He shouldn't be knowing your name, you were just an intern. You don't know what to do and just stare at him confused.

''You're the new intern in the editor's office?'' Namjoon smiles at you. You're still taken back and it takes you a moment to realize he is waiting for an answer.

''Oh, uh yeah,'' You reply and want to facepalm yourself immediately after for how awkward it sounded.

''I am Namjoon,'' He holds out his hand and you stare at it for a moment before shaking it.

Why were you so awkward you've been to this man's house you have his number saved in your phone. You smiled at him trying to pull yourself together. ''Nice to meet you.''

''I've heard good things about you,'' Namjoon replies, ''I hope I'll see you around sometime.''

He smiles at you one more time before walking off to meet with the other members who are standing at the other side of the bar with some higher-ups. You're sure you see him chuckling to himself when he walks off, he must have seen how awkward you felt.

''OMG!'' Eunmi squeals next to you and violently shakes your arm, ''That was freaking Namjoon!''

''Eunmi, calm down,'' You take a hold of her arm to stop her from shaking, ''You can be such a fangirl sometimes.''

''Oh come on'' Soo-ah says, ''We are all little bit of fangirl sometimes, you can't tell me you weren't secretly thinking the same thing.

''Okay, fine,'' You smile awkwardly, ''Maybe you're right.''

The short ride to this bar has sobered you up a little bit and the world has stopped spinning. However, with the speed the alcohol everyone including you is gulping down you'll soon be even drunker than before. Instead of sitting at a table everyone is just standing around in little groups talking to each other. Even though most groups stick together there's some switching around. After an hour of talking and drinking, your group has changed a little too. Soo-ah and Eunmi are still here but are joined by a woman and a man who like they're in therethirties. Both of which you have seen before.

''Bottoms up,'' The man says with a smile when he has poured everyone a drink, ''To an amazing tour!''

Everyone cheers and gulps down their drinks. He poured something stronger than the usual soju since it burns when it goes down your throat. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to one-shot the whole drink because before you knew it the glass was already full again.

''I'm going to be so hungover tomorrow,'' You joke pointing your finger at the man who keeps pouring you drinks

and smile, ''And that's your fault.''

''We can be hungover together,'' Eunmi laughs and drunkenly hangs on your shoulder.

''I think we are all a little drunk, '' The man laughs and also gulps down his drink. The woman next to him fills his glass again.

''That's the whole point of this right,'' The woman next to the man says. She looks familiar to you and you're sure you've seen her around in BigHit before. you just can't put your finger on it, ''Speaking of which how about a little game?''

''Sure,'' You reply. Maybe it wasn't smart because you were already getting too drunk but you were already past the point of caring, ''What game were you thinking of?''

''How about this?'' The woman sets a small glass of beer on the table and puts an empty shot glass in the beer and pours in a little bit of soju, ''Everyone takes turns pouring soju into the glass whoever lets the glass sink drinks the whole glass.''

'Omg,'' Eunmi exclaims, ''This will get you so drunk.''

''Be sure not to sink the glass then,'' The woman says daringly, ''Who's in?''

''Oh, well why not,'' Eunmi says and pulls up her sleeves, ''Let's get it.''

You chuckle at Eunmi's small Jungkook reference, ''Okay, fine.''

''Okay!'' The man says way too excited, ''Let's start!''

The woman hands the soju to the man who starts pouring in a little bit of the soju carefully and then hands the bottle to you. Slowly you pour a little bit of the soju in the glass. It's still only half-full and you don't have to be too careful. After three rounds it's starting to get dangerous the glass is full and on the brink of sinking. Luckily right before your turn, the man pours in a drop too much and the glass sinks to the bottom.

''OOHHHHH'' All of you exclaim excited and the man looks at the glass disappointed but then picks it up with a smile.

''Here it goes,'' He winks and gulps down the glass, which he then sets up for another round.

The game goes on and the next round Eunmi has to drink and then next its you who sinks the glass.

''Ohhh nooo,'' You pout and look disappointed at the glass.

''Hah!'' Eunmi points at you, ''Karma for laughing at me!''

You roll your eyes at her and pick up the glass. You struggle a little gulping it down but when it's empty you put it down with a thud.

''Okay, that's it,'' You smile at everyone and then a hick-up escapes your throat. Eunmi looked at you confused for a moment before bursting out laughing. Another hick-up escapes your throat and you start laughing too.

''Your hick-ups are so cute,'' The man laughs, ''You guys want another round?''

''Sure, but not a game just a drink, '' You reply knowing it would be impolite to refuse the drink but still ending the game because you were getting way too drunk. While the man walks off to get your drink you look over to Yoongi. His heartbeat has been beating in your chest the whole night. It has never been this difficult to be so close and yet so far. At least in the BigHit building, he was on another floor and you weren't able to see him. You stare at him talking to the other members you wonder what they are talking about. Well, Yoongi isn't doing the talking he is leaning against Hoseok and every so often smiling his beautiful gummy smile that makes your heart melt.

''Here you go ladies,'' The man comes back with the drinks and snaps you back to reality. He hands you your drink and smiles at you.

''Thanks,'' You take the drink from his hand.

You know it might not be a good idea to drink anymore. You're drunk but you're also past the point of caring about that. The alcohol just makes you feel so good, so free as if the whole world doesn't matter anymore. On the other hand, the table has become one of the most important things in your life, stabilizing you. But still, you felt a little bit wobbly and want to lean your elbow on the table to get your balance back but somehow you missed the table and instead of stabilizing yourself you felt yourself fall over. Eunmi tried grabbing your arm but she is just as drunk as you and her reflexes aren't what they should be. You just feel the brush of her hand along your elbow. You flail your arms desperately trying to save yourself when suddenly you stop falling. The man had grabbed your arm and hoists you up safely.

''Whoah,'' He says with a smile and swings an arm around your waist to stabilize you, ''Be careful there.''

''Thanks, '' You reply smiling and are glad you're not lying on the floor.

Eunmi sighs in relief and takes a sip of her drink, ''You're drunk if you start falling.''

''You're no better than me,'' You point accusingly at her but she is right. You are drunk. Up and down are starting to feel the same, and your boundaries are starting to shift. You have to stop drinking now or else you're going to walk over to Yoongi and kiss him right then and there. It was excruciating feeling him so close, seeing him so close. Again, you take another peek at him and find him already staring at you. There's something different though, he almost looks kinda mad. What was he mad about? Had someone said something to him? His heartbeat felt the same but then again you were drunk you probably wouldn't even notice it if it had changed.

''Exactly, you're no better than me,'' Eunmi gulps down the last bit of her drink and than grabs your arm, ''That means that it's time to go otherwise we won't even be able to make it home.''

''But...'' You sputtered, honestly you didn't mind leaving the party you just didn't want to leave without Yoongi. Eunmi doesn't budge and grabs your arms and pulls you towards her when she does so you suddenly feel less stable and stumble towards her. You feel how the man's arm falls from your back and brushed your butt. Had that arm been there the whole time? Was that why you had been feeling so stable? It does explain things.

''Let's go,'' Eunmi throws her arm around you and drags you through the bar.

The cool air outside feels good on your skin. Eunmi puts you down on a bench outside the bar and plops down next to you. She types something on her phone before looking up at you.

''You didn't notice him flirting with you the whole night did you?'' Eunmi gave you a serious look.

''What?'' Has she seen you and Yoongi exchanging glances?

''That man,'' Eunmi said and you looked at her confused, ''That man that just had his arm around you and you were clinging onto to him.''

''He could have been a tree, I didn't even notice it was him I just need something to stabilize me,'' You replied, ''I was just glad I wasn't on the ground.''

''Omg, Y/n'' Eunmi gave you a deadly serious expression, '' You just called the producer a tree.''

''What?'' You looked at her surprised.

The two of you shared a confused look for a moment before bursting into laughter.

''He was flirting with me?'' You pointed at yourself surprised, ''Me?''

''Yeah,'' Eunmi laughed, ''It was quite obvious too, seriously I have seen him wink at you at least a dozen times.''

''He did!'' You really couldn't remember anything about that.

''Thank you for saving me Eunmi,'' You smiled at her and hug her, ''I'm glad to have such an amazing friend.''

''No problem,'' She hugs you back and helps you get up, ''Let's go, you're sleeping at my house tonight I'm not dragging your ass all the way over to your house.''

In the corner of your eye, you see someone leaving the restaurant that looks familiar. You focus a little bit better. It's Jungkook dragging a just as drunk as you Yoongi with him. Eunmi follows your gaze.

''Omg,'' Eunmi watched how Jungkook throws Yoongi into the van, ''Yoongi is just as drunk as you, that's unusual.''

''Have you noticed him tonight though?'' You saying smiling brightly, ''He looked fucking gorgeous.''

''He did and so did Jungkook. At least I finally know who your bias is in BTS.'' Eunmi laughs and helps you get into the taxi that has stopped in front of the two of you, '' Come on let's go.''
