{64 A date with Yoongi

''How did it go?'' Haneul asked when she sees you walking down the hallway.

''Good, I guess,'' You shrugged, ''We'll have to wait until the results are in though.''

''Yeah, true,'' Haneul replied patting you on the shoulder supportively, ''I'm sure you did great though.''

''Thanks,'' You reply and look at Jieun and Hnaeul,'' How did your test go?''

''Fine,'' Jieun replied and got up from her seat to stand next to you and Haneul.

''Okay, too,'' Haneul smiled at you and Jieun, ''This is it right?''

''What do you mean?'' Jieun crossed her arms and looked questioning at Haneul.

''This is our last day together at university, right?'' Haneul's whole face fell, ''There aren't any more exams, so I can't buy you any more coffee for your addiction.''

''There will be plenty of places you can buy her coffee, Haneul,'' Jieun replied with a sad smile, ''But I guess you're right, today was our last study session together.''

''I will miss Haneul dragging us to the library to study,'' You looked at Jieun who nodded in agreement.

''Yeah, me too,'' She added and looked at the two of you with a smile, ''But this doesn't mean the end of our friendship right?''

''Of course not!'' Haneul exclaimed and spread her arms wide, ''We shouldn't even be said about this moment we should be happy and celebrate for the start of a new era.''

You and Jieun stepped closer to Haneul and hugged her tightly.

''Let's work hard and get a job we enjoy doing!'' You replied hugging you're best friends tightly.

''But first,'' Jieun released the hug and gave an encouraging smile, ''We should work hard on our internships!''

''Yes!!'' Haneul gave a thumbs up, ''Speaking of which I have to go now, I still have some things to do today.''

''Yeah I should be going to,'' You rubbed the back of your neck feeling a little awkward.

''Oh yeah!'' Haneul replied excited, ''You have a date to go to don't you.''

''Oh right!'' Jieun replied, ''You have to tell us everything!''

'It's not our first date, guys,'' You replied blushing a little.

''It is Suga from BTS and your soulmate though,'' Jieun looked at you excited, ''And it's only your second date outside of your apartment.''

''That is true,'' You replied and felt your phone buzz in your pocket, you quickly grabbed it and looked at the screen. It was a message from Yoongi with a GPS location, ''I have to go now.''

''Have fun!!'' Jieun and Haneul waved you off until you were out of their sight. Looking at your phone you went to the location Yoongi had sent. It was a small street right beside the university. Of course, he couldn't pick you upright in front of the university there would be too much risk of getting recognized. You were surprised he had agreed to this in the first place. Since the fight between the two of you a few weeks ago none of you had the time to go on a proper date but now that the exams are over Yoongi managed to take part in the day off and agreed to pick you up after the exams to go out.

The last time the two of you went on a date he had taken the initiative and took you to a nice restaurant so this time you had made plans. Well not really plans, but you had thought of a nice idea. You hadn't told Yoongi what the plans were but he had agreed to pick you up in his car. Yoongi had his car which made it so much more convenient for the two of you to meet up, the fans didn't exactly know which kind of car he drove since 90% of the time the manager just drives them around in the company van. He does have his is own car though, a quite luxuries on too. You were sure it was a car way above your pay grade, a car that would surely stand out in front of an University so he agreed to pick you up but a few streets away from the university just to be sure.

When you started feeling his heartbeat in your chest, the relieved and comfortable feeling immediately washed over you and you practically ran the last few blocks to the street. You quickly recognized his car and got in the passenger's seat.

''Hey,'' Yoongi said smiling brightly when you opened the door.

''Hey,'' You replied smiling just as brightly.

You leaned towards him and gave him a soft peck on his lips, for a moment the two of you stared in each other eyes grinning from ear to ear. It had been a while since you saw him because of your exams and his busy schedule. Your body was tingling all over and you hadn't felt this alive in a while. The lack of sleep, studying had made you exhausted and his presence immediately had an effect on your body and you hadn't felt so excited and energetic for a while. He closed the space between you again and kissed you longer and more passionate than before. Even though the two of you now have been together for some time it still made you feel as if you were flying, soaring weightlessly through the clouds.

''I missed you,'' Yoongi softly whispered and brushed a loose strand of hair behind your ear. His loving eyes made you blush.

''I missed you too,'' You whispered back and quietly sad back in your seat to hide your flushed face.

''So where are we going?'' Yoongi pressed a button on the dashboard and the car roared back alive. Just now you noticed how luxurious the car is, from the leather seats to the high tech display on the dashboard. Yoongi doesn't show his money much, so you always forget how rich he is. ''Where are we going?'' Yoongi asked again?

''Oh, Uhm,'' You rubbed the back of your neck, ''Just go to the highway and continue east.''

''That doesn't answer the question,'' Yoongi looked at you confused, ''Do you want it to be a surprise?''

''Uh..'' You had thought hard about something you could do with Yoong and had come up with a nice idea. An idea which you had every intention of planning it out but with lack of time kind of had forgotten to do so. A road trip without any planning is the best one, right? ''I just wanted to drive out the city, drive around and get some fresh air somewhere.''

''A road trip huh?'' Yoongi smiled at you, ''It's been a while since I drove so far.''

''We don't have to go so far if you don't want to?'' You replied quickly thinking he might no like the idea.

''No,'' Yoongi put the car into gear and slowly drove off and grinning slightly, ''I don't really like driving in the city, so the further away from the better.''

''Good,'' You replied and looked out the window and watched the university pass by, today would probably be one of the last days you set foot there for a while.

''You can turn on some music if you want,'' Yoongi pointed to the car display, ''It has Spotify so you can choose whatever you'd like.''

You started scrolling trough the playlist and choose a safe choice s mainstream playlist. Even though you love Kpop you felt a little awkward about putting it on, you didn't want to put on BTS their music because you thought he must listen to that every day but you also didn't want to put on other Kpop because he might think you like them more than his music. After you put on the music you leaned back in your seat and stared out the window, looking at the buildings that passed by. It wasn't long until Yoongi and you were driving on the highway, slowly the buildings disappeared and trees appeared. The grey sky slowly turned blue and the mountains green. It was a beautiful view and you enjoyed the ride and view. Suddenly you felt a hand on your thigh. You looked up to find Yoongi already smiling at you, smiling back you put your hand on his and entwined your fingers. Slowly you bring the back of his hand to your mouth and give it a soft kiss. Yoongi who was looking at the road ahead grinned when your lips touch the back of his hand and he softly squeezed it in response. The two of you drove in silence for a while, it wasn't an awkward silence it was rather comfortable. Just the two of you enjoying each other's company, without the need to talk. It already felt amazing being back in each other presence there weren't any words necessary. After about half an hour Yoongi broke the silence.

''How's your job going?'' He asked whiled turning the radio down a little so it would be easier to talk, ''I've seen you around in the building but you know I wasn't able to ask this at work.''

''It's going well,'' You said smiling, ''Everyone has been so kind and I enjoy working there, I can't wait to start full time!''

''That's going to be on Monday right?'' Yoongi replied not taking his eyes off the road, ''I heard some of the staff talking about it, they were also looking forward to it. I've heard nothing but compliments about you from the staff.''

''Seriously?'' You asked excited, it wasn't long since you started and you were surprised to hear people talked about you.

''Yeah,'' Yoongi said with a proud grin, ''They seem to like you and your work.''

The two of you talked a little bit more about your work and the staff while listening to some more music.

''So Uhm,'' Yoongi pointed to the display in the car, ''Is there a particular place you want to go? There's navigation on there where can enter an address.''

''No,'' You shook your head, ''Honestly, I didn't have a particular place in mind except then getting outside of the city and just get lost on a small adventure.''

''I like that idea,'' Yoongi replied, ''How about we go on a little bit more of an adventure and venture of the highway and into the mountains?''

''Sure, I'de like that,'' You replied and clicked on a button so the screen would switch from Spotify back to navigation. ''Let's take the next exit and see where it takes us.''

Yoongi takes the next exit and drives along the smaller roads for a while, it isn't long before there is no more car insight and it's just the two of you driving along empty roads. Even though it's a little chilly outside you open the window to let in the fresh breeze of the forest air. The familiar scent of moss and trees hit you the moment you open the window and you take a deep long breath savoring the fresh smell. The two of you continue driving down the road into the unknown. Suddenly a familiar song comes onto the stereo it's his song a BTS song, you curiously look over to Yoongi who doesn't react and just stares ahead to the road. You thought he would at least comment on it but he seems unbothered by it, so you divert your attention back to the beautiful mountains stretching far along the horizon. Until you are distracted by Yoongi voice at first you think he is saying something so you to look at him only to realize he is softly singing along with the lyrics of the song. Even his raw voice in the car humming and rapping along with the lyrics are enough to take you're breath away. He is seriously talented.

''What?'' Yoongi suddenly looks at you and catches you staring at him.

''o-ooh,'' You blush a little embarrassed, ''N- Nothing.''

''Am I not allowed to sing?'' He asks bluntly.

''W-what?'' You ask surprised still embarrassed he caught you staring at him while singing ''No, no, of course, you can! I kinda like it. I feel honored, like a little private concert.''

Yoongi laughs and then wiggles his eyebrows seductively, ''I can give you a private concert if you want.''

''Yoongi!'' You playfully his shoulder and he laughs even more.

''Hey, Hey!'' Yoongi glares at you between laughs, ''You can't hit me I am driving!''

''Okay, I'll let you off this time,'' You smile devilishly at him, ''I'll just wait until you stop the car.''
