Your POV
You nervously pace back and forth sipping from the glass of wine you shouldn't be drinking. It was a bad idea to drink to get rid of the nerves and emotions but you needed something it was just too much to bear. It wasn't just your emotions but his too.
During the tour through BigHit, she had brought you to the floor where all the employees worked and then it happened his heartbeat found yours. You knew if you felt his he felt yours too and just moment later he was there, staring at you with a shocked expression you tried to keep your calm. No one even knew the two of you had met before let alone be soulmates you pretended to meet him for the first time. You thought it was convincing enough no one had asked any further question and Yoongi had left. Though, soon after he left you felt how your phone in your pocket went crazy, buzzing over and over again. You knew who those messages were from, would he be mad? Disappointed?
When you were in the elevator after the tour with the head editor you immediately grabbed your phone and anxiously read his messages.
Yoongi: What are you doing here?
Yoongi: Why did the head editor introduce you as an intern?
Yoongi: Are you an intern?
Yoongi: How?
Yoongi: Was this what you were busy with?
Yoongi: Why didn't you tell me?
Yoongi: Why did you lie to me?
Yoongi: Do you know how dangerous this is? They can't find out!
Yoongi: You didn't tell them right?
Yoongi: Y/N, Please respond, I'm not angry I'm just really confused.
Yoongi: Y/N? Please...
Was he not angry? He did sound kind of angry, this was driving you insane. Though You would probably find out anyway how he felt the moment you were far enough away and his emotions would rush over you. You weren't going to discuss this over text.
You: Can you come over tonight? I'll explain everything.
His response came in just seconds, he must have been anxiously waiting for your response.
Yoongi: I'll be at your apartment at 6 pm.
Now it's almost 6 pm and you are incredibly nervous he could be here at any time. You had been right the further you had gotten from the building the stronger his emotion had gotten. The anger, betrayal, confusion, sadness, fear, nerves, everything. It had made you feel incredibly bad and you hadn't been able to do anything else then go over the conversation you were about to have over and over in your head. Practicing the words and sentences over and over again, it drove you insane. You had opened a bottle of wine, it was stupid but you hoped the alcohol would at least calm you a little. You were wrong it didn't help a bit. At exactly 6 pm his heartbeat entered your chest and right of the bet it was fast, faster than usual. Not that yours was any better. This time his heartbeat didn't have a calming effect on you more like the opposite. Before he had even the chance to ring the door you had pressed the button to open the door en waited impatiently for him at the front door of your apartment. It felt awkward seeing him after the confrontation at BigHit, he didn't give you a hug like usual. He just walked into your house and crossed his arms waiting for your explanation.

''Yoongi,'' You softly said, ''Please don't be angry, listen to me first, okay.''
He only nodded, it felt so awkward but you started explaining anyway. You start with the moment you found the application, you hadn't even been planning on applying. It was just something you had wanted to use for the assignment, but it didn't leave your mind and after telling your friends they had encouraged you to apply. You never had expected to get accepted anyway, why would they hire an inexperienced person without a degree? The opportunity, however, was too good to let it pass by it described your exact dream job and your friends were right if you wouldn't have sent in your application you would always have wondered what if. You thought that by getting a rejection at least you had the closure and the experience only the rejection never came.
''You got accepted?'' Yoongi asked raising an eyebrow and if you weren't mistaken there was a little bit of proudness in his voice.
''I did,'' You nodded in response, ''But as an intern not as an employee.''
''Why didn't you tell me?'' Yoongi still had his arms crossed but the posture was less intimidating as when he had first stepped through the door.
''I- just-,'' You had trouble finding the right words and sighed deeply, 'I was afraid.''
''Of what?''
''Your reaction,'' You replied honestly, ''There were only two options you would either love or hate the idea and if you loved the idea I thought you might try to influence BigHit into hiring me. You know putting in a good word for me and I didn't want that I wanted to get in on my strength wanted to get accepted for who I was. Or you would hate it, get angry with me and maybe even made sure I wouldn't be hired.''
''I would never-''
But you didn't let him finish, ''I know, I know, but the idea had crossed my mind and there was no way to be 100% sure unless...''
''You didn't tell me,'' This time he interrupted you and finished your sentence.
''Exactly,'' You nodded and you took a step forward to him, he seemed to understand. He didn't seem angry, was this going to be okay? ''This is a dream coming true and when they gave me the opportunity I just couldn't reject it.''
''Couldn't you at least have given me a heads up?'' Yoongi asked, ''You can imagine how surprised I was when suddenly your heartbeat popped up while I was working I searched the whole building for you.''
''I wanted to,'' You looked at the ground, ''But you were away, there was no time and I didn't want to tell this over the phone.''

''You do realize how dangerous this is right?'' Yoongi raised his eyebrow again at gave you the most serious expression you have ever seen on his face, ''If they find out you will lose your job I might even lose mine, this doesn't just affect you.''
''I know but they won't fire you it's not your fault,'' You defended him and yourself, ''You didn't choose to soulmate bond with me neither did you have anything to do with me getting that job.''
''They don't know that,'' Yoongi replied and shrugged, ''for all they know I talked you into applying for the job.''
''But you didn't,''
''I'm aware....'' Yoongi replied with a cold expression.
''I know that this might not be an ideal situation, but it's my dream job!'' You pleaded him with your eyes hoping he would understand hoping he would allow you to work at BigHit, ''It's everything I ever wanted. I know it's unfortunate that it's at BigHit but if it was any other company I would have applied too. It didn't do it because of you I did it because of the job, my dream job. Please, don't make me quit.''
''That was never my intention,'' Yoongi shook his head and let his arms fall from his chest and let them loosely hang next to his hips, ''But honestly, I don't think it's a good idea for us to both work at BigHit, it's just too much of a risk. I explained it to you before the Idol business is not very accepting of relationships or soulmates, I have no idea how they would react when they found out.''
''They won't' find out.''
''You can never be sure of that,'' Yoongi replied strictly, ''They might found out outside of work, or maybe even deduct it because we're both absent at the same time. Sometimes they seem like detectives the managers know everything about us, it's already hard to hide everting as it is.''
''We'll find a way,'' You said determined, he had already said he wasn't going to make you quit so you felt a little more courageous.
''Maybe I could pull a few strings and ask around to get you transferred to another company or building,'' He gave you a slight smile, ''In that way you get to keep your job and our careers wouldn't interfere with each other.''
''What?''You asked confused, didn't he understand that this was exactly what you had been afraid of? You wanted to get accepted because of you not because of him.
''It would solve everything, right?'' Yoongi grabbed your hands and held them while smiling, ''You said yourself that is was unfortunate the application was at BigHit if you transfer to another building it wouldn't interfere.''
''No.'' You bluntly said and Yoongi smiles fell from his face. You slipped your hands out of his and shook your head, had you not just explained you wanted a job you deserved with your hard work, not a job that he arranged for you. Not only had you been right he didn't want to work with you he was trying to interfere with your career this was the worst-case scenario.
''No?'' Yoongi asked confused, ''What do you mean, no? Don't you think it's a good idea?' We can't possibly work at the same company it's just too dangerous.''
"Why not? Why?" You said desperately and felt how you're eyes started to get watery, "It's my dream, it's always been my dream! Why am I not allowed to follow my dreams?"
You couldn't believe that after he had seemed so understanding earlier he was saying all of this. If he understood why was he still asking this of you, didn't he realize how much this meant to you?
"Of course you can follow your dreams," Yoongi stroke your cheek empathetical, "but working together at the same company, I just-"
"This is why I didn't tell you," You yelled in anger and you slapped his hand away, "I knew this would happen, I knew something like this would happen the moment I first lay eyes on you."
"What?" Yoongi's face fell and sadness and confusion spread across his face, "What do you mean?"
"I got the job without your help," You yelled angry, "If I would never have met you it wouldn't have been a problem!"
"Y/n," Yoongi's voice sounded hurt he took a step closer extending his hand to you again but you took a step backward shaking your head.
"No.." Still shaking your head you took another step backward, "If I would never have met you I would be happy right now."
