"Hello? Yes, I am Mr. Park...JiHyun? Yes, sorry he's alright he's just been sick for the past few days and he's getting better now. I will, thank you. Have a good day as well, goodbye." Jimin walks into the living room where his father had just ended the call he was on.
"So when are you going to let us go back to school? They're already getting suspicious." Jimin coldly says, his father looking at him in denial.
"Shut your fucking mouth you bitch. You're both not going anywhere you hear me?" He yelled as he approached his flinching son.
"Oh yeah, what happens when they call child services huh? They'll see what you've been up to." Jimin replies, trying his best to not show the fear he actually had in him. "At least send him...I can stay home but send him. He didn't do anything wrong." He pleaded, hoping his father would give in to his request.
"Why the fuck would you care if he goes or not?"
"He's only nine. He deserves better in life and I'm willing to sacrifice mine to ensure it." Jimin's dad laughs at him in amazement, knowing that he had the power to ruin his life either way.
"Look at you being all brave faggot," He mimicked as he began to walk toward the kitchen. Jimin followed behind, making sure that his request would be heard and granted.
"LET HIM GO!" Jimin quickly argued, making his father stop his actions from grabbing a beer. He slowly stood straight up with his hand still on the fridge door. His eyebrows furrowed, showing the anger beginning to rise in him.
"What the fuck did you just say?" Jimin gulped, knowing he had just messed up once again.

"Let him go to school," Jimin repeats, standing his ground. His father closes the fridge door and slowly walks toward the boy, who's breath began getting shaky in fear. He grabbed Jimin by the neck and lifted him in the air, making the boy struggle as his body was having a rough time getting oxygen.
"Listen here you punk, in this house, you listen to me. You respect me. You do as I say. You think you have a say in this house?" Jimin's dad speculated, tightening his grip as he went on. "You don't have any say in this household you hear me? You're just like your whore of a mother." He let go of Jimin's neck, who fell to the floor in coughs. He raised his fist, ready to begin to leave bruises but is stopped in midair.
"ILL WORK FOR YOU AGAIN!" Jimin cried out as he put his hands out in defense from hours father's hits.
"All right." Jimin moves his hands from his face, not believing he has just saved himself from another beating. He didn't think his skin had any more room for purple grayish bruises under his clothes.
"But on one condition," Jimin added, standing up from the floor. "He gets to go to school." His father stays still for a few seconds, thinking over the condition he was given.
"Okay, but you better not pull something off you piece of shit." His father declared as he walked out the kitchen door. Jimin starts behind, knowing his plan was finally starting to move in the right direction. Even though on the surface he said JiHyun deserved to go to school, he meant it with complete honesty. Although deep down, he had another reason for his request.

Jimin quickly made his way back to his room, ready to explain part of the plan to his brother. He opened the door and found JiHyun drawing.
"Hey, JiHyun?" Jimin softly comments as he sits next to his brother. JiHyun looks up and stares at him in curiosity.
"Yes?" Jimin grabs his brother's hands and gently squeezes them, JiHyun just stares since he didn't know what was going on.
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"You're going back to school." Jimin happily chirps with a bright smile, not minding what he had just gone through to make this happen. JiHyun's eyes brighten instantly, showing a surge of excitement that he hasn't felt in weeks.
Yes, he was a child, but that didn't mean he was completely oblivious of what happened around him. Not to mention, a big part of why he loved his big brother so much was for a simple reason. His ability to always put a big smile even in the toughest moments. If JiHyun were being honest, he envied Jimin for that. That's why he appears tried his best to put on a happy front, to show that he to was strong like his big brother.
"REALLY?" JiHyun squealed, jumping into his brother's lap with his hands wide open in pure elation. Jimin laughed, goes heart feeling warm at seeing such a great reaction.
"There's a catch though," Jimin continued, the little boy peeling himself away in bewilderment.
"What is it?" Jimin sucks his teeth, trying to find a way to explain his thoughts in a simple manner.
"Remember what I told you about helping you escape so you could go to Jin hyung's?" Jimin softly reminds, earning a nod from JiHyun. "Well when you go back to school, you'll actually be going to Jin-hyung and Kookie's house...where I live remember?" JiHyun takes a few seconds to think and refresh his memory, remembering the path from his current place to the needed destination.
"Yeah, I remember. What about you? Are you coming with me?" Jimin, unfortunately, nods no, feeling upset that he wouldn't be able to reunite with the rest of them yet. "Why?"
"I need to make sure dad doesn't find out you're going to Jin-hyung's house..." he explains, hoping that his explanation wouldn't be followed up but another question.
"Oh...okay. I'll make sure to tell Yoongles that you miss him very much!" JiHyun cheerfully says, earning a small tickle attack.
"No! You must not!" Jimin playfully scolds, making sure that it would be him to say those words.
"Fine, I won't Jiminie. When am I going to see Jin-hyung?"
"You have to go to actual school first, so he doesn't suspect anything later okay?" JiHyun nods, excited at being able to go to school.
Who would've thought I would enjoy going to school?
"Apparently not you," Jimin comments, making his little brother smile in embarrassment as he realized he thought out loud.

Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel (An Irreverent Fanfiction)
Fates Parallel is a gripping cultivation story, following the adventures of a half-spirit girl with nothing as she grows both as a cultivator and as a person after arriving at the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial and Arcane Arts. It features fleshed-out, believable characters, wonderful world-building that informs the course of the plot, and girls who hold hands. Fates Parallel is a very good story, and you should read it! Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at this same world from a different angle, following a totally regular girl who brings bad luck with her wherever she goes. It features shallow, joke-name characters, a focus on the least interesting parts of a fantastic world, and girls who hold hands (potentially). Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is an amazingly hilarious (so says me) fanfiction and you should read it! (This is a Totally Author Approved Spin-Off (Fanfiction) for Fates Parallel, which you can find in a number of places including here on RoyalRoad! Please do read it!)

Cowboys and Wizards
Currently in queue: Episode 12 in progress. Set in the Aurora: Apocalypse universe.Updated every Wednesday. If it's not updating, I'm working on my other fictions. If nothing's updating, I ran out of whiskey. Be patient. Cowboys and Wizards is a hot mess of garbage that should not be taken seriously by anyone. It’s a vaguely-GameLit spoof of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni (In Another World With My Smartphone) where the MC ends up in another world and fused with his crappy smartphone, mashed up with fantasy western elements. Dungeons & Dragons meets the Wild West in an alternate high-fantasy timeline. Guns & Goblins. Cowboys & Wizards. Locomotives & Dwarves. Don’t expect great writing, accurate numbers, or common sense. Hell, don’t expect anything — just relax and let it happen.
