Heisenberg's POV
I sat it that cramped room for what felt like hours waiting for that freak to get back. It only took him a couple minutes but the acidic air made every breath take years off my life.
"I got the snacks!! Wait, we're did the child go? Did they leave? No... no no." He whimpered out. Carrying a tin of what looked like cheese.
"They um... had to use the bathroom before the movie started. They didn't want to have to go in the middle of it..."
He looked at me skeptically before sitting down right infront of the box television.
"Okay, we won't start without them then. Take some snacks, I made plenty."
I tried not to gag as I looked at the rotting cheese substance.
"I think I'm good, we ate some of the Duke's food before coming over here..."
"Oh... okay."
The kid walked back in, the bag that they came with gone.
"Perfect you're back. I picked out three movies. Jomeo and Ruliet, The Big Ship, and This vampire and werewolf movie. All of them are really good!"
I already wanted to leave and we hadn't even picked a movie yet.
"I don't really mind it but the Big Ship looks cool." The kid said.
He slid the disc into the DVD player, which looked as old as Mother Miranda.
Soon the movie started up, on the play screen two people clung to eachother one hanging off into the ocean, the other on a door.
The end credits rolled and Moreau started clapping. He had a huge grin on his face, but tears on his face. The movie was sad but it wasn't enough to make me cry.
I looked over at Heisenberg, he had a grimace on his face. The same one he had the entire movie.
"That was so good! Which ones next?" Moreau shuffled over to the TV.
"Actually I think we better go, (Y/N) had to go to bed. They just finished their trials so they have to get extra sleep..."
Moreau looked so disappointed. And I was kind of to. I wanted to stay and watch another but I guess we should get the flask back to the castle.
"This was really fun Lord Moreau. I would be delighted to come next time, but Heisenbergs right we should be going..."
He frowned but nodded, and with that Heisenberg pulled me out into the cool night.
"Where's the flask?" He whisper yelled at me.
"Relax I hid it in my bag, which I hid in the...the um whatever it's called. The place with the dam controls."
I pulled him along towards the flood gate control house.
"Just because you're older doesn't mean you can cuss...."
I stared at him for a second before he finally got it.
"Oh... that type of dam..."
We both laughed a little until we finally made it to the building. My bag was hidden in a corner next to the controls.
I pulled the yellow flask out. The Salvador family mermaid crest on the lid. Just to make sure it was still there.

"You aren't seriously going to come back here, are you?"
"What? Of course I am! It was fun. And I told him I would. You don't have to come."
He shook his head a bit and we carried on quickly to the castle.
We were almost to the castle when an image popped up in my mind. Something that the cadou showed me during the trials...
I stopped and looked around I remembered this place, I had been there with my parents.
Without a word I walked over.
"Um... where are you going?"
I pointed to the graves. I felt a tinge of pain in my chest as I kneeled down.
"My mom is buried here, but you already know that..."
Heisenberg kneeled next to me and a silent tear dripped down my face.
"What happened during the trials?"
Everything that happened and all the emotions I had felt but kept bottled up, bubbled to the surface.
I didn't want to talk about it but I knew I should.
"You really want to know what this fucking parasite showed me?!" I didn't mean to lash out but it all came out in a burst.
"It showed me everything! All my memories with my family to when that bitch Miranda cut me open and left me in that fucking cell... all alone." My voice broke as I buried my head in my hands.
"My father... worked for you. He was- He was one of the villagers who mined metal for you... he got tuberculosis... and he-
"We had to bury him. Then Miranda she wanted to experiment on me so she... well she wanted you guys to kill my mom. And that's what you fucking did. Didn't you? You killed her!"
I stood up and started pacing around. Tears streaming down my face, anger building in my chest.
"Then when Miranda had you bury her you took my father's body to use in your experiments. So he's not even here..."
"(Y/N), I... I didn't-" He put his hand on my shoulder to try and calm me.
"DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME!"
He stood there startled as I walked back over to my mother's grave. Tears coloring my shirt.
I sat there crying, I felt alone again.
"And then... Miranda took me to her lab. She cut- she cut into me and I could feel... everything. Every second of it." My breath hitched and I could feel another set of tears building up.
"She put me in that cell and left me alone... I was down there for three weeks!" I looked up at Heisenberg, I couldn't read his expression so I looked back down.
"I would be alone then she would come down and experiment on me. Then... alone again." I looked down tears dripping into the cold ground.
"Rose can't go through that I won't let Miranda do that again." I got up and Heisenberg shot up after me.
"Well we better hurry back to the castle kid, The other are probably worried..."
I nodded and shuffled along behind him, absentmindedly playing with the straps on my bag.

We slowly made our back to castle, Heisenberg looking back at me every couple minutes.
Heisenberg pushed the large doors open without knocking, to Lady D sitting on a chair, too small for her.
"Finally you two are back. We had thought you had gotten lost. Did you get it?"
I nodded and pulled the yellow flask out of my bag.
She took it with her perfectly manicured hands, leading us down the halls to the dinning room where the other three flasks were waiting.
Ethan was sitting, half asleep in one of the chairs, but everyone else was gone.
"We will leave before daylight, that will give us enough time to set everything up."
Heisenberg nodded and sat down, waking Ethan in the process.
"Everyone should rest tonight though. I'm aware you two already slept today, but do try to get some sleep. I'm afraid we will need everyone's help tomorrow..."
She pushed us out the door towards the room, Ethan shuffled out behind us heading towards a different room.
"Fuck, I'm not tired at all." Heisenberg complained laying back on the bed.
"I am, I didn't really sleep earlier. You were snoring and... I kept thinking about everything."
He looked over at me as I sat down on the bed.
"Sorry about that, kid. I'm sorry... about everything."
I nodded laying back, the soft sheets embracing me. Tomorrow was going to be a big day and I was ready to get rid of Miranda.
"Try to get some sleep. Everything is going to be fine tomorrow."
Slowly I fell asleep the soft sheets embracing me. The last thing I heard was the door opening as Heisenberg left the room.
Slowly I walked out of the room trying to not make a noise and wake the kid. I knew what I had to do and if I had to do it alone I would.
I crept through the halls, the sound of Ethan snoring came from behind one of the doors. Finally I pushed open the door to Alcina's room, after a slight knock.
"What is it? I told you to rest."
"We need to go now. We really shouldn't wait till morning..."
She gave me a confused look.
"I can't risk (Y/N) tomorrow, we need to leave them here and fight Miranda alone."
I could hear the exhaustion in her voice, though I didn't know what it was from.
She stood up from her position on the bed just to walk over to one of the couches.
"This is the first time in decades that you have cared this much for another being. Yet you are going to let that stop you from winning a fight against Miranda? You know we can't win against her without everyone. We are already at a disadvantage without Moreau..."
I sighed and sat across from her it was strange having moments like this. Feeling like actual family.
"I'm sorry, but we cannot go tonight. We will need everyone's help tomorrow and you need to rest."
She pushed me out of the room before another word was uttered.
I stared at the closed door and clenched my fists. I wanted to hit something.
Someone.
Without another thought I jogged down the halls till I came to the door were Ethan's snoring was coming from.
I pushed it open to find Ethan face down in the bed.
Shaking him, I pulled him out of the bed. He was mumbling curse words under his breath but quickly grabbed his gun and followed me without complaints.
"There's been a change of plan. We leave now."
I walked back to the room (Y/N) was sleeping in.
"Don't wake them. We have to get them to the Duke." I said slowly pulling away the covers.
"Wait what are we doing? Aren't they coming to help too?"
A small groan escaped my lips as I lifted them up. Sometimes I wish they were still eight years old, but then again nevermind...
"They can't help. Me and... um Alcina decided it would be best to leave them with Duke. Since they have almost no experience with their powers."
He nodded but it didn't seem like he understood what was going on.
After dropping the kid off with the Duke we took the flasks from the dinning room.
We didn't waste anytime running to the ceremony site.
"Wait is everyone else gonna meet us here or what?" He asked as I carefully set up the flasks.
"They're gonna meet us in a bit. We are acting like the first phase. Get Miranda weak so they can come in after and deal the final blows."
He stopped me for a second, obviously not believing me.
"When was all this changed? I didn't hear any of this and it seems um...-"
"FUCKING FOLLOW ME AND STOP ASKING QUESTIONS."
Luckily that made him shut up, and I finished setting everything up.
We walked over to my hidden warehouse. All my perfect experiments were put here for one purpose, Take down Miranda.
"Stand watch while I activate the soldats."
I rushed inside leaving nothing to be said.
A few buttons and curse words later the monstrosities in the warehouse came to life filling the silence.
Quickly I ran diagnostic tests before sighing. Then shots rang out.
I ran outside to a gruesome sight. Miranda stood over Ethan's limp body, heart in hand.
"No..." The air had been sucked from my lungs.
"You really are a disappointment, but I guess after all I gave to you, it wasn't enough..." She turned to me, the heart still tight in her grip. "I'll deal with you later. Though I really hoped it wouldn't have come to this."
And with that she disappeared into thin air, leaving me alone in the field.
Note from Author
Sorry it took so long for this episode to come out, the school year is ending and I've been busy studying and taking tests. Also we are getting to the end of the story and I'm trying to tie up loose ends and make a satisfying ending. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this longer episode and have a good rest or your day or night.

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me. Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
