We landed quickly next to Heisenberg. His face was etched with worry, but it quickly faded when I landed. Instead his eyes widened with shock.

"How are you riding him? And why hasn't he killed you yet?"

I brushed off his questions, because frankly I didn't know. I also didn't question the yellow glass in his hands.

"What's wrong? Did everything go okay?"

"Everything is fine... I was just-I was just worried... about you..." His voice faded out as he mubled the last part. "We should head back to the factory."

I was about to agree with him, when multiple howls came from down in the village. Uriás nocked me off his back and jumped down. My eyes couldn't spot where the noises came from but I didn't think it was good.

Heisenberg muttered something under his breath. I couldn't make out a complete sentence, but I did hear a few curse words in the mix.

After a few seconds of searching I saw what was happening. Dozens of lycans, some on horse back, surrounded a person.

I could tell Heisenberg saw it as well because he hurriedly pulled me along with a panicked expression. When we finally stopped we were infront of a large bell.

"Help me. We need to ring this, now."

It wasn't an invitation, it was a demand, and I wasn't going to argue at the moment.

My arms were sore and my brain itched with the ringing of the bells. Heisenberg didn't seem bothered...

As I waited for something to happen, I heard a voice. Something clawing at my thoughts. Trying to persuade me. Even though I didn't want to, I walked closer to the bell. It's chimes sounded like music now.

"Stop that. Cover your ears." Heisenberg pulled me away from the bell back to the cliff.

The lycans weren't surrounding the person anymore, instead they slowly jumped towards us.

I tried focus on the person, but couldn't see clearly from that far away. I saw that they were sitting down on the edge of the stream. Blood stained the water around them.

Then they got up and left like nothing happened...

I almost fell over as Heisenberg tugged on my arm. We were surrounded by almost all of the lycans and I didn't even notice. I was to busy trying to figure out who the mystery person was.

Even though his head was down, I could tell Heisenberg was scanning the village as well. Maybe he knew who the person was.

A long droning growl came from infront of us and Uriás blocked the path back to the factory.

"I know your mad that I called you off him, but you can't kill Ethan. He's... vital to my plan..." Uriás gave an agitated snort, as if he wasn't happy with the agreement.

I wasn't sure what was happening, but I thought I might pass out. Between all the mystery and chaos I was exhausted.

Heisenberg's grip loosened on my arm as he turned to face me. I didn't realize how much of my weight he was carrying, until he let go, and I almost fell.

"Alright come here. You are so fucking weak, I feel like it would be easier for me to just carry you. Or we won't ever get back." He roughly picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I tried to protest, but I actually was grateful for not having to walk.

|

I quickly opened my eyes trying to find out what woke me up. Then it hit me. Literally.

Heisenberg stood in the corner of the room, his hammer leaning on his leg, throwing bolts at me.

"Finally your fucking up. I've been throwing things at you for like 10 minutes." He rolled his eyes and walked out the door, motioning for me to follow.

As I got up my back sounded like bubble rap. I was sore in places I didn't know existed, and sleeping on a medical table didn't help any.

"You really need to get a bed!" I told him when I caught up.

"It's not that bad, you'll get used to it."

I rolled my eyes as he led us down the endless corridors. Finally coming to one of the rooms I had explored, the arena.

He kicked bodies out of the way as we walked, which made the smell worse. I'm not sure how he could stand the stench.

Everything was the same in the room except for the middle arena part. A large mechanical body sat slumped in the middle. Shadows crossed its grotesque body which made it look ten times worse.

Heisenberg pulled me around to a small table that looked like a control box. Which it was.

He started flipping switches and the lights all around us turned on. Some of them turned red which made the room eerie.

A few soldats and haulers rose from around the room and made there way to the arena. They stood waiting paitently as Heisenberg messed with some more controls.

Finally he stopped. "Are you ready?-" He didn't wait for a response, as he clicked a button, and the large creature in the middle of the arena came to life.

"Fight log.... uhh.... 39. Testing out the Sturm. First test, fighting capability."

I barely had time to react as the big creature tore threw all three haulers with its giant chainsaws.

A small holy shit escaped my lips as I looked at all the blood on the floor.

"First test was successful. The creature took down the three haulers in mere seconds, leaving nothing left. Second test is mobility."

He pressed another button and a soldat walked over, catching the sturms attention. It charged towards it, but the soldat moved out of the way.

The Sturm crashed into the wall with a large smash, which caused a groan to escape Heisenbergs mouth.

"Second test failed. The creature can pick up speed quickly but cannot turn while charging. Third test, intelligence...."

He sighed as he stood up and walked around the table to the arena. I didn't know what he was doing so I followed him...

The Sturm seemed to notice him as we got closer, but didn't immediately charge.

It's chainsaws spun violently waiting for a target.

"Turn those fucking chainsaws off."

After a moment of nothing happening, the blades died down, until they were barely spinning. I saw a smirk wash over Heisenberg's face.

"Go back to the arena."

Nothing

The Sturm just stood there. I'm fact even it's chainsaws started spinning again.

His smirk was wiped away as he stood there watching it.

"God dammit. This is what I get for not putting the right amount of meta-albumin.... FUCK!"

He kicked one of the bodies as he yelled. With a scowl he made his way back to the control panel, and his voice recorder.

"Test three is a failure. This whole abomination is a failure, god dammit... End of log..." He pressed a button and a trapdoor opened under the Sturm. I could here it fall down a couple floors before crashing to a stop.

Heisenberg gave me a side eye before pushing past me and out the door. I didn't know what to do know so I followed him.

I could tell he was pissed so I didn't say anything, didn't complain, and tried to keep up the best I could.

I sat silently on a stool that I found. Heisenberg was sitting at his work bench, head in his hands. I'd lost track of time, but it felt like forever.

Occasionally he would mutter something under his breath and write something down, but I couldn't see what it was.

He glared at me.

"Stop melting my fucking stool."

I looked down at my glowing, orange, hands, which had left indents on the metal.

"S-Sorry... I didn't-" I took a shaky breath. "-I didn't mean too." Slowly I sat my hands into my lap, which made my shirt smoke.

He looked away clearly annoyed, but didn't say anything else.

I didn't say anything either when I quietly got up and left. I didn't have any idea where I was going, but I just needed to leave.

|Time Skip|

I walked around the town quietly, everything seemed wrong. As I got around the church area, though I smelt smoke. This time it wasn't my shirt.

Then I saw a large building, ingulfed in flames. It felt like I'd been there before, so it seemed weird to watch it burn.

In front of the burning building stood Miranda, ripping the heart out of some poor guy. Behind that stood another man, watching, horror plastered on his face.

Miranda disappeared into the tall grass and the man walked down the path.

I couldn't tell for sure if he saw me yet, but I slowly walked onto the path. My head was down and my hands up.

"Who are you?! Did you see what just happened?"

I tilted my head up to see his gun, half-heartedly pointed at me. One of his hands was bandaged with blood soaked through. Two of his fingers were missing...

"My name's (Y/N)... Uhh and yeah, I did. What happened to your hand and who are you?"

My hands fell to my sides as we talked. He said his name was Ethan, apparently Miranda had taken his daughter and he was trying to get her back.

"I could maybe help you... a little bit. Miranda did kinda the same thing to me..."

"Thanks, I'm headed to the castle. That's where I think my daughter is."

I swallowed hard. It wasn't particularly safe in the castle, especially if you weren't part of Miranda's family.

He looked so desperate though. I nodded.

From somewhere in his coat pockets he pulled two stone crests, which set neatly in the gate.

We walked across an old bridge which I thought would collapse and into a stone stairway. The stairs led to a small room filled with barrels, and two doors.

One was locked and the other had a lever to pull. Without hesitation Ethan walked up to the lever.

Before he pulled it a familiar voice spoke from behind us.

"Well, well..."

I turned to see Heisenberg, who had clearly gotten over his anger from earlier. His hammer was hung over his shoulder like it weighed nothing.

"I didn't think anyone was left... you must be pretty tough, huh."

He wasn't talking to me, didn't even bother looking at me. Slowly I backed up until my back hit some of the barrels.

"Who the fuck are you!?"

"Oh." Heisenberg said behind a grin, "You're not local! Even better..."

A metal spike plunged its self into Ethans stomach. A small gasp escaped my lips.

Quickly metal started encasing Ethan's lower half, as he held onto the spike.

"Mother Miranda's gonna love you."

He laughed manicaly while Ethan fell to the ground. A final peice of metal covered his face.

Finally Heisenberg turned to face me. A mix of disgust and anger covered his face.

"And where the fuck did you go."

I tried to shrink away from him but my back was already pressed to the barrels.

"I... took a walk around the village." He didn't seem pleased with my answer so I continued. "You were... you were angry so I didn't want to bother you... I'm sorry. I should have told you."

"Damn right you should have. Follow me. Apparently there's another family meeting we have to attend."

He bent down and put a pair of shackles on Ethan's wrists. Then pulled him along behind us like a bag of scraps.
