《Fangirl Turns To His Girl | Ricci Rivero Fanfic》#FOUR: DINNER
Advertisement
Haaays. Ano na Lynn?
"Ano po kasi, aaah... eeeh---"
"Iiih, oooh, uuuh. Haha, joke lang." Ricci laughs sabay nagpeace sign.
Haha! Loko 'tong si Ricci, lakas mangtrip! Gusto pa lang mag-joke.
"Ano ija? Tara?" Mommy niya.
"Ahmm, okay lang po ba? Nakakahiya po kasi family dinner niyo tapos may extra."
Nakakahiya naman kasi talaga, baka ma-out of place lang ako doon eh.
(at restaurant)
Awkward.
Tapos kasabay mong mag-dinner 'yung family niya. I should be happy pero ang awkward talaga. Feeling ko epal lang ako dito.
Bale ganito kasi 'yung pwesto namin. Iyong table na parectangle with 8 chairs.
Gets niyo ba? Basta ayon na 'yun. Hindi sila kumpleto eh. Wala si Rash at Gelo yata. I'm not sure, basta si Cci at kuya Prince then tatlong bata 'yung nandito.
"By the way ija, ano nga pala ang name mo?" Tanong noong mom ni Ricci.
"Lynn po."
"Lynn lang talaga? Ang ikli naman." Prince chuckled.
"Ah, Khaira Lynn po. Lynn 'yung nickname ko." I bit my lips.
"Okay. So Lynn, thank you talaga ah. Nandito kasi sa bag ko 'yung wallet ko, cellphone, ID's ko and even 'yung cellphone ni Sahia."
"Yeah, thank you ha, nabalik 'yung phone ko." Ricci smiled at me.
Myghaad! Nginitian ako ni Ricci! Actually kanina pa siya nakangiti, ngayon ko lang napansin kasi this time, sobrang lapit niya talaga.

"Hmm. Wala 'yun."
Kabado kong sagot. Feeling ko ay iniinterrogate ako ngayon.
"Haha! Ang galing. Ang tapang mo naman." Prince continued laughing. That made my tension somehow fade away.
Ang cute niya. Laging nakatawa at nakangiti.
Ricci sincerely asked. He sounds a bit concern but why? Who I am?
I glance at Ricci again.
Nginitian niya ako kaya I smiled at him too.
"Nice one Cci!" Si kuya Prince sabay siko kay Ricci who keeps on frowning to his brother.
"Oo nga Lynn ija, hindi ba masakit iyong paa mo?" Daddy naman niya.
"Hindi naman po, okay lang po ako."
"Mabuti naman. Ilang taon kana pala, do you study ba?" Tanong muli ng daddy niya.
"Ah yes po. 18 na po ako."
"Hmm.. so college ka na? Anong year mo na?" Prince asked again.
"3rd year na."
"Saang school?" si Prince ulit. Dami niyang tanong. -_-'
"Ha? Hindi naman po kilala 'yun eh." Alanganin kong sagot.
"Ano naman ija? Sige, anong course mo na lang if you don't mind?"
"Oh! So you want to be a teacher? That's nice!" Ricci's mom smiled at me.
"Yes po Ma'am. Thank you po."
"Naku huwag mo akong tatawaging Ma'am, Tita Abi na lang if you want. Teka di pa pala kami nagpapakilala sayo."
"Ah, iyon po ba? No need na po Ma'am, kilala ko na po kayo."

"Huh? Paano?" Her eyebrow furrowed.
"I'm a fan of some UAAP teams and players po."
"Kaya pala, so kilala mo na pala kami? Then what team are you supporting?" Prince asked while smirking.
"A-ahmm... I'm a UP fan po but after maeliminate ng men's basketball team sa season I'm cheering for your team La Salle."
"Talaga? So fave team mo iyong UP?" Tanong muli ni Prince.
"Sa volleyball, yes. Sa basketball kasi, ngayong year lang ako nakapanuod. Kaya UP din 'yung chineer ko."
"So ngayong semis La Salle na? Bakit hindi Ateneo?"
"Uy Ahia anong klaseng tanong yan?" Wow, sa wakas nagsalita din si Ricci.
"Bakit ba? Prince gave his brother a smirk.
"Loko!" Ricci chuckled.
Okay, awkward! Hindi ko sila gets. Sobrang naiilang na ako dito. Gusto ko ng umuwe. Huhu.
"So bakit hindi nga Ateneo Lynn? Siguro fan ka ni Ricci ano?" Ang galinga manghula netong si Prince. Bravo.
"Kuya!" Saway ni Ricci sa kapatid niya.
Ang daldal talaga ng kuya ni Ricci! -_-'
And y-yes, ahmm... I'm a fan of... Ricci." Pahina ng pahina ang boses ko.
And with that, tinignan na naman ako ni Cci. Bakit ko ba kasi sinabi iyon?
"Ayon! Sabi na eh!" Patuloy pa rin sa pagtawa si Prince.
Ano bang problema niya?
I glanced at Ricci.
"Ubusin mo muna iyang nasa bibig mo Riley. Haha hindi ka namin maintidihan." Tita said to the kid. So siya nga si Riley. Ang cute niya. Tabachingching haha.
"Riley puputok na iyang pisnge mo oh. Haha!"
Sobrang cute talaga.
I checked my watch. Ang bilis ng oras. Its seven thirthy o'clock na pala.
I composed myself. I need to go.
"Excuse me po.
"Ha? Ganon ba? Eh kokonti pa lang nakakain mo oh." Tita Abi glanced at my plate.
Haha.
"Ganon ba, oh sige salamat ulit Lynn. Nice meeting you. I hope we'll meet again." Tita Abi smiled at me.
Ang ganda ni tita Abi. Napaka-genuine ng mga ngiti niya. I'm really lucky to meet them. What a cute family.
"Sure 'yun ma, magkikita pa kayo. Trust Sahia. Di ba Cci? Haha. Nice to meet you din Lynn."
"Nice meeting you all din po. Thank you po sa dinner." I glanced on each of them except Ricci.
"Sige ija, ingat sa byahe." Tito Paulo.
Ricci asked his parents.
Pero teka nga. Tama ba ang narinig ko? Ihahatid ako ni Ricci? Oh my! Bakit pa?

Cycles of Ruin
Civilizations rise and fall. Kith build them up and monsters, led by powerful dungeon keepers, bring them to ruin. For three thousand years the cycle has been maintained by the Guild of Chaos and its endless hordes of minions who—in absence of their long lost creators—have taken it upon themselves to keep the realms of the universe in balance. The Guild has grown efficient at this task, but some among its ranks have begun to ponder the utility of a universe that has been robbed of the very possibility of change. Basil von Doom is one such dungeon keeper working for the Guild, leading an army of loyal minions from one conquest to the next; burning civilizations and sifting through the ruins in search of forbidden knowledge that the races of kith were never meant to possess. But having spent more than half a century in pursuit of glory and fame—trying to live up to the legacy of his father—Basil has grown indifferent towards his work. Desperate for a worthy challenge, but bound by his duties as a dungeon keeper, he has turned his mind towards uncovering the ultimate fate of the previous master of his house and the secrets that were buried with him. Now the young Master of House Doom must balance his growing interest in pursuing the trail of his father with the responsibilities that come with running a dungeon in service to the Guild of Chaos. To remain in good standing with the Guild, Basil has even accepted the task of mentoring an apprentice dungeon keeper, a young succubus named Elnora. It is at the tail end of her apprenticeship that the story begins; with a civilization poised to fall—its greatest heroes gathering for one last assault on the heart of darkness—and Basil striking up a conversation with his apprentice that will set into motion the unraveling of the universe. ***This is a rewrite and continuation of my story that was first posted on RoyalRoad a few years ago.
