He wrote a poem

On his yellow paper with green lines

He called it "Pain"

Because that's all he felt

His teacher read it,

And paired him with a girl

She says perspective, color

He says apathy, grey

She says love, kindness

He says pain, coldness

Her favorite color is his eyes

His favorite color is green

Her favorite sound is his voice

His least favorite sound is his voice.

He wrote a poem

He called it "Life"

His teacher heard it

He was thrown away

"Mentally Unstable"

They all said

The girl disagreed

She says love, sadness

He says pain, sadness

She loves

He pushes away

She loves him

He loves her

He called it "Sorry"

Because he wasn't

He folded it and labeled it J

It was sent to the girl

His call for help, failed

She ran, and ran

She unlocked the door,

Only to see his lifeless body on the floor

She tried.

He gave up.

She loved.

He was blind.

She was colorful.

He was colorblind.

She cried.

She screamed.

He wasn't sorry.

She was.

They died.
