Jasmine knocked. There was no answer. She knocked again. There was no answer. Jasmine began to worry, "C'mon Ethan, don't joke like this." Jasmine began to slam her fists into the metal, "ETHAN! ETHAN! ETHAN!" Her screams turned into a sob and she gave up, she pressed her back against the door and slid down to the floor.

"Jasmine?"

She looked up and saw Mary, one of the employees she had met the first time she visited Ethan, "Mary! You have to open this door! Please let me in!"

Mary nodded and pulled out a key ring that was filled all the way around. She inserted the key into the lock and opened the door, "Here you go, Jas."

Jasmine flung herself inside and scanned the quiet room, "Ethan? Where are you?" She threw open closet doors and ripped the sheets off his bed but there was no sign of him.

Jasmine sat on the hard mattress and ran her fingers through her hair, then remembered--

There's on more place to check.

She walked towards the bathroom and opened the door.

nothing.

Jasmine sighed and walked out back into the small living space and took another look around. It seemed peaceful, neatly kept, and all too perfect, until she saw it.

A rope. It was tied onto the bed post and hanging out the window.
