You sighed, not really wanting to explain your actions to him.

"I wanted to die," you finally admitted after such a long time.

"I saw the chance to kill myself without it actually seeming like I was killing myself. People would've thought that it was to save a friend but no. It was so I could actually die," you explained and he didn't have a single emotion on his face. It was just blank because he was trying to process what you had just told him. He opened his mouth just to close it again right after. He was speechless.

"What you said to Troy about him forcing himself onto me, how's you know about that?" you asked.

"Well, um... Dustin told me that you liked me and so when you started dating Troy, I put 2 and 2 together," he had a small blush on his cheeks. It was better than you with your face a complete red as you shifted in your spot, suddenly feeling uncomfortable and awkward.

"Look, (Y/n), don't take this the wrong way-"

"Mike! Dustin was right! I like you!" you cut him off with your blush ceasing to fade. He had a small smile form on his lips before he quickly kissed you.

"I like you too," you smiled at his words.

"So... does this mean we are together now?" he asked and you pondered his words.

"Yeah. I guess it does," his smile brightened which made your heart melt.

You two sat in the little hideout talking nonstop for hours. You guys didn't even realize that it was dark outside. When you finally noticed it got you excited and nervous at the same time. It was that feeling you normally get when you're about to go on a roller coaster, that rush of adrenaline.

"(Y/n)?" Mike snapped you out of your thoughts. Once he had your attention he continued.

"I think we should go home," he gestured to outside of the hideout making you nod in agreement. You both stood up, gathering your things, and went on your way. 

Time skip at your house

"Well thank you for walking me home and everything," you thanked Mike for everything.

"It was my pleasure," he smiled which caused you to smile.

"I'll you tomorrow," you told him. Before you could go in, he kissed you. It made you happy, it felt right, it wasn't like with Trevor it was different. You kissed him back. It felt like forever but it lasted only a few seconds.

"Tomorrow?" he asked.

"Tomorrow," you confirmed.

"Until then," he kissed your cheek and left. You were in a daze. You never felt so happy in your life. Right as you were about to open the door you heard the most dreadful voice.

"Where were you? What was that? You're my girlfriend! Not his!" the voice came from the person you hated most.
