《Secret Trio: A New Start (Old and discontinued)》Chapter 15

Randy was snoring quietly, his sleep peaceful as he felt the warmth from his pillow.
*Poke*
Randy shifted his head and buried his face into the warm pillow more.
*Poke* "Ninja."
Randy quietly groaned and hugged the pillow more.
*Poke* "Randy. You have an hour to go fetch your friends."
Randy slowly opened his eyes. He saw black cloth. He doesn't recall having a black pillow. Then he looked up. And saw red hair. And beautiful sparkly eyes. "Pretty," he let it slip out.
Nomicon's face flushed and then said, "Ninja, please let me go. You still have your morning duties to attend to." Randy groaned and sat up. He yawned and stretched and commented, "you make it sound like I'm some sort of royalty." He got off from his bed and went to his bathroom.
The quartet was going towards Randy's locker, for he forgot something again. "And then, his nose bleeds," Danny told as the boys were laughing at Randy's misfortune.
"Haha. Very funny," Randy said as he rolled his eyes, and then opened his locker. The moment his locker door opened, Randy was attacked by a wave of Sakura flowers. "What the cheese!" Randy exclaimed as he got out of the flower pile. "Dang boi. Didn't know you were a flower man," Jake joked as they laughed about it. Randy just rolled his eyes and then saw a black box in his locker.
Randy took it out of his locker and the things that he forgot. "What's that?" Howard asked, pointing to the box. Randy shrugged and opened it. Inside was a keychain that has the mask of the Ninja.
"Whatcha got there, Cunningham?" They looked in front and saw Ryan. The one that bullied Randy. Remember? The one with Dash?

Ryan snatched the keychain and examined it. "Give that back!" Randy yelled as he tried to get it back from this gorilla. Ryan chuckled while he held back Randy with only one hand. "Aww..." Ryan mocked, "is little Cunning-wham wants his little toy back?" Ryan then made an evil grin, "well guess what!"
Ryan threw the keychain to the ground and then stomped on it, breaking it into three little pieces. Randy was furious. He tried straight-out attacking Ryan, but couldn't since he was bigger than him of course. "What a wimp," Ryan snickered.
Then out of the blue, a fist hit Ryan in the cheek, causing him to lose balance. "What the heck!" Ryan said as he faced Nomi Norisu. "I thought we were clear..." Nomi lowly growled as he cracked his knuckles, "Randy Cunningham is mine!"
Nomi punched Ryan square in the jaw. Then he kicked him in the stomach. Ryan let out a low growl as he punched Nomi on the face, "who said that he's yours?! Huh?!" By this point, a crowd was already filming.
Ryan then grabbed Nomi's shoulders and pulled him down. He then kneed his stomach and threw him on the wall. Nomi stood against the wall as he wiped a drop of blood from his mouth. And then he glared at Ryan. Like a tiger would do if someone was touching what's his.
Ryan stomped over to him and pulled his hair, "not so tough now, huh?"
Nomi then grabbed the sides of Ryan's head and forced his head to bang on him. Ryan then backed away as his head started to bleed. Nomi took this as the chance and kicked him in the side, punch him in the face, and twist his arm in the back. Ryan let out a painful cry as Nomi's grip hardened every second. Nomi shot Ryan one last glare and then let his arms go.

He picked up the broken keychain and was going to his first class. Ryan stood up and glared at Nomi. He ran towards him with his fist in the air and was yelling out a battle cry. Nomi just glanced at him and then kicked his head. And Ryan fell on the floor.
Nomi just walked away as if nothing had happened with a bleeding mouth and a few bruises here and there.
"Dang, son," Jake whispered to his friends, "that was good."
Jake, Randy, Danny, and Howard just finished their band practice. And right now, they were heading to Vlad's mansion along with Howard to practice more and show Howard the brutal training Bella will most likely put them in.
They were walking down the halls since the school was about to close. "Oh, cheese!" Randy said as he searches his bag, "I think I forgot my homework!"
Howard rolled his eyes and replied, "we'll wait for you outside," and drag the two boys who'll most probably insist on accompanying the forgetful ninja, outside of the hel- I mean education! Education facility.
Randy ran down the halls and opened his locker and stuff the things he needed and closed his locker. He was then about to turn the to the other hall to catch up to the others when a hand grabbed his shoulder. He turned around and saw Nomi, staring at him with a blank gaze.
Randy gulped and internally screamed as to why he has to bump into him now. He doesn't need a beating right now. He'll get one when he'll show up in the dojo. Thoughts ran through his head as Nomi grabbed his hand and gave it a tight grip to make sure Randy won't run away. While doing so, Randy noticed some bandages at the bottom of Nomi's sleeve. Nomi placed a small item on Randy's palm and then closing. He looked at Randy again with that blank stare, but Randy could see in his eyes so many mixed emotions. Nomi let Randy's hand go and then walked away.
Randy watched the boy walk away, as he was confused as to why. He then looked at the small item Nomi gave him and saw the little ninja keychain, all fixed. Not a single scratch was there. Randy smiled as he let the blood rush to his cheeks.
He kept it in his pocket and rushed out of the hallways towards his friends who were waiting for him.
A small chuckle escaped her lips as it twisted into an evil grin. "Perfect."

Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
