A good week went by since Y/N apologized to her friends. Things were back to slowly falling back to how they used to be.

Lunch at school was completed with laughter from all 6 of them while they talked about almost everything they could think about.

They went back to hanging out together, walking home together and one thing that Y/N knew for sure was that her feelings for Jake was there.

They were stronger than ever, and she swore that every-time she was around she felt like butterflies were going to fly out of her mouth.

They recently talked about the dare and discussed how stupid the whole thing was and how much drama it caused between them.

Y/N and Jake sat on the sand under the bright sunlight. The two decided to hang around the city today and ended up hanging out at the beach instead.

They both sat beside each-other while staring at the ocean and talking amongst themselves.

"Y/N?" Jake called out to her, "Yeah?", "You look really pretty today." he told her with his signature.

"Thank you Jake, You don't look too bad yourself." She replies to him trying to hold back the huge smile awaiting to show up on her face.

"Don't hold back the smile, I love it when you smile." Y/N felt her stomach twist and turn as she let the smile show on her face with the blush that covered her cheeks.

Curiosity was taking over Y/N, she's had one question that she really wanted to ask Jake ever since she made a discovery almost 2 months ago.

"Jake?" she said, "Yeah?" he raises his brows, "I've wanted to ask you this for a while but never really found the right time."

"Did you date Yuna or something?" she asked the boy. For a second it was pure silent and she suddenly felt a rush of nervousness.

"No, we never dated" he calmly chuckled, "I know we acted like we were, but my parents kind of told me to get close to her because theyre close to her family."

"It's really cliche I know, but part of it was to make you jealous as well so." He says in full confidence, "Make me jealous?" she smirks.

"Yeah, to make you jealous." he raised his brows and chuckled, "I thought you would've picked up on that."

"Well I obviously didn't" she chuckled. "Jealously got to me and it felt like a competition so I guess I used her to make you jealous."

"But she knew though right?" she raises her brows, "Of course, I don't want to play with her feelings like that, that's just wrong"

"Then what was all the drama that you two caused in the library and stuff?"

Y/N felt like she was asking too many questions but she really wanted to know the whole story and after finding out that he was making her jealous, she needed to know.

"Oh yeah. She kind of liked me at the start but I told her that I didn't like her back and stuff. After that while situation was over we did the jealousy thing"

Y/N nodded her head, "I guess we've had a fair share of trying to make each-other jealous," he chuckled.

"I actually have a dare for you." Y/N looked up from the sand to look at Jake confused, "Yeah? What is it?" she says hesitantly.

"I dare you to date me for two weeks." He says with a smirk on his face, "But instead of two weeks, you're just gonna date me."

Y/N started to laugh at his words, "Okay. I accept the dare. But is that really how you're gonna confess to me Jake?"

"Yeah."

"Well then Jake, because I actually do have feelings for you, I will accept the dare and I will be your girlfriend."

Jake looked her in the eyes, slowly placing his hands on her jaw pulling her closer to him. Without hesitation, he gently kissed her plump lips causing her to smile brightly while kissing him back.

After a few seconds, the two pulled away and the first thing Y/N noticed was Jake's flushed red cheeks and the huge smile plastered on his face.

"Seriously though Y/N, Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He happily asks you, "Of course I do Jake"

The two couldn't help but feel like all the happiness in the world was shifted to them, they continued to chat amongst themselves.

Jake pulled her closer to him, by now the sun was already staring to set and the sky was covered in the colour, red, orange and yellow.

Y/N laid her head on his shoulders while he kissed the top of her head, "You don't know how long i've been waiting to do this with you" he tells her, which she responded with a kiss.

"We're so corny"

hey guys! I can't believe that this story is ended, I honestly didn't know when to end the story but decided to end it here.
