"What colour do you want?" I turn to Luca, "I have yellow, blue and pink." I show him the coloured notepad.

"I'll have the yellow." He nods, as he switches his phone off, placing it down.

I quickly tear it off its pad and hand it to him, before I reach for a book from my counter and hand it to him to lean on.

"...So what do you want to do?" I look up at him and he chuckles, shrugging his shoulders.

"Have you ever played Stop-The-Bus?"

"Never heard of it." He shakes his head.

"I'll teach you." I grin, as I start to draw the outlines of the game.

"I have to mouthe the alphabet to you, and you have to say STOP, and I stop at the letter I'm on, then using that letter I have to name a name, food/drink, colour, animal, and um, celebrity." I start jotting the categories down.

"The letter I stopped at has to be the starter of the answers of each category, at the end of each round there's a total, if you can't think of one for a category, you get a zero for it, if you get the same as the other player you get a five. But if it's not the same and it's correct you get a ten." I finish the outline, before I take the sheet off him. "I'll draw it for you."

"Oh and the first to finish has to shout STOP THE BUS! And then you have to do a countdown from ten, after that the other player has to stop straight away, even if they haven't finished." I give him his sheet back and smile.

He stares down at the paper, and nods. "This should be interesting."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Stop the bus." Luca chuckles.
"Uh, not yet." I pinch my brows together, as I try to find a celebrity, with the letter L.
"Tesoro, that's cheating."
"One more minute, I'm on the last one." I scramble my brain for something.
"You're disqualified."
"No! You haven't done the countdown!" I exclaim, as I begin to panic.
"Alright." He chuckles again."Ten."
Uhhh
"Nine."
"In your head, I can't concentrate!" I growl, beginning to grow frustrated, and he laughs again.
after a few seconds left, he breaks the silence.
"Two."
"I'M DONE!" I yell.
"Name?" He smirks, and I take a deep breath, pushing my hair back, and clearing my throat.
"Layla, yours?"
"Luca."
We both laugh, as we scribble a ten under the name.
"Colour?" I ask.
"Lime."
"Light blue." I say, and he cocks a brow.
"That doesn't count."
"It does." I scribble a ten under it, and he rolls his eyes.
"Animal?"
"Lice, you?"
"Tesoro, that is not an animal!" He exclaims.
"Ugh, fine." I grumble, putting a zero at the bottom.
"Leopard." He says.
"Ugh, not fair." I grumble again and he laughs.
"Food/drink?"
"Love heart sweets." I say, and he snorts in response.
"Limewater." He says and I snort back.
"Celebrity?"
"Leonardo DiCaprio." He says and I groan.
"Lilo, from Lilo and Stitch."
"Zero." He says and I roll my eyes, scribbling a zero at the bottom.
"I don't like this game, it's boring." I grumble after a moment and he laughs.
"You are a sore loser." He laughs.
"Whatever, I got a thirty." I mumble, as I put it in total.
"Fifty." He smirks, his words laced in pride, and I scowl.
"So what do I win?" He crosses his arms.
"Huh, oh. The prize." I jump off the bed, walking to the corner of my room, picking up the bag, and walking back to the bed.
"You get something really special." I say as I push my hair back from my face.
"What is it?" He leans forward.
"Stickers." I fish out the untouched sticker pack, and show it to him with a wide grin.
He lets out a small chuckle, as I climb back on the bed, sitting in front of him as I open it up.
"These are Disney stickers, too." I pull out one of the sticker sheets. "Phineas and Ferb."
"Recess." I pull out another.
"Lilo and Stitch." I pull out another.
"I like that one." He points at a Stitch holding a lollipop.
"Me too." I smile at him, as I bring it closer to my face, poking my tongue out as I carefully peel it off.
"There, where should I put it?"
"Here." He points at one of the buttons on his shirt.
I lean in and stick it on, perfectly.
"I'll put the Lilo one on and we can take a picture together." I peel of the small Lilo in a bikini sticker, placing it on one of the two, grey buttons at the top of my black shirt.
Luca flips his phone out, clicking on camera.
I move to his side, standing on my knees, as I place my hand on his shoulder.
Luca does cross-eyed, while I stick my tongue out. He clicks the button, which captures the shot.
"Another one!"
I tilt my head over Lucas shoulder, giving a wide toothy grin as he does the same and he captures it again.
"Let's see." I watch as he swipes to the right, revealing the shot we just took.
He swipes to the right again and I let out a laugh and so does he.
"How do you do that?" I ask, addressing to the crossing eye, I take the phone from him, leaning forward.
Just then the phone begins to ring and I jump, dropping the phone.
Luca chuckles, as he picks the phone up, I catch the name of Killian that pops up, as he clicks accept and presses it to his ear.
"English." I give him a nudge and he rolls his eyes, with a grin. I hear Killian begin to talk before Luca replies.
"Yes she is okay." He says after a moment, they talk more about boring stuff, before they hang up.
He looks down at me and smiles. "I have to go now."
My smile falters slightly and I nod. "Okay, will you be back?"
"Definitely." He ruffles my hair, before standing up.
I nod, before I put the stickers back in the pack, placing it on the counter along with the Stop-The-Bus game.
I look up at him as he puts on his blazer. "It's been fun, tesoro." He smiles, and my grin widens.
"Yeah."
Soon he leaves, and I turn and look at my clock. 4pm, we've been hanging out for six hours.
I sit on my bed for a few minutes, my thoughts drifting over to Donald.
I get off the bed and make my way to my closet, I remove the shorts, and pull on a pair of black jeans.
Time for a trip to Matt's shop.
~~~~~~~~~~~

I step into Matt's shop, warily, looking around for bugs.

I continue to walk ahead, watching my every step, as I stop at the desk.

The seat, like the last time, is empty.

He probably doesn't have much customers coming here.

I can see why.

I press the rusty bell a few times and wait, a few seconds later, Matt appears, still shirtless, with a pair of navy jeans, his brown hair messy. His green eyes meet mine and he smirks, crossing his arms.

"Well hello there little girl."

I roll my eyes, as I hesitantly place my hands over his desk. "Have you got anything back?" I ask.

"Maybe." His smirk widens, and I roll my eyes again, as I look around the shop.

"Why aren't you fixing this place up?" I ask him, looking back and he shrugs.

I think for a moment, as my eyes scan again. "It's not too bad." I tell him. "You can start fixing it up now."

"I guess." He pushes his hand through his hair, as he looks around.

"I'll help, I can be the instructor and you can be the do-er."

He grins. "Alright then."

I nod and begin to look again. "I think you need to get rid of those old shelves." I point at them. "Get the books out first, and just..dust them." I turn to him and he nods.

"You have a lot of bugs in here too." I grimace as I watch a beetle run up the wall, behind him.

"Do you have any type of spray to kill them?" I look around. I hear him shuffle behind me before I hear a thud on the desk.

I turn and see a dirty old spray bottle and grimace. "Okay.." I pinch my brows together. "Okay, scratch that, do you have a truck?"

"No, but my mate has one."

"Well, get it off him, and shove every single shit you have in here, into that truck and then you can start cleaning up the dirt and killing the bugs and stuff, then the stuff you put in the truck you have to start cleaning that up, one by one and place them back, maybe get rid of a few things cuz it's always so cramped up, and then yeah, you'll have a great business."

He thinks for a moment and nods. "Great plan." He grins, as he leans down and picks up a white envelope. "This came in last night." He hands it to me.

I take it and smile. "Thanks."

"No problem, little girl." He smirks and I scowl.

"Shut up."

~~~~~~~~~~~
"What's that in your hand?" Dad steps in front of me, as I'm just about to enter the house.
"It's something." I place it under my back, glaring at him.
"Alright, I was just asking." He smiles. "How has your day been?"
I frown slightly, and nod. "It's been fun."
"Good to hear." He gives me a toothy grin, before leaving the house, walking towards a black car.
I continue to frown, as I enter the house. I ascend the stairs and enter my room closing it shut as I jump on my bed.
I gently open the envelope, sticking my hand in it and picking out the letter, my eyes skim over the words and I smile, reading it over and over again.
He basically gave me his number telling me to call him, and also saying I'm crazy to agree for the two years and also telling me to tell him my address and asking if it's really me and stuff like that.
I grab my notebook and begin writing. Telling him how I can't really call him cuz that's just even more risky and how it's pointless to try and escape when Killian is just gonna come back for me and stuff. I then ask him about Jack, Cara and Kaleb, because I really miss them all.
I finish the note and slip it into an envelope.
I then take his note and put it back in its own envelope putting both in my bottom drawer.
"Layla, dinners ready!" I hear mum's yell and I sigh, as I swing off my bed, making my way out.
I go downstairs and just when I'm on my last step, the door opens revealing Heidi, with a bag, she sees me a gives me a smile.
"Uh, I thought you went with Killian?" I furrow my brows, as she follows me into the kitchen.
"Oh, sweetie that was just a joke, I wanted to see your reaction." Mum's voice counters and I look up to see her smirking.
"Okay.."
"I was actually at a mates house." Heidi giggles, flipping her hair back. "His name is Sam, I was just talking about you to him."
We both take a seat with her next to me.
"Okay?" I frown, as mum places some pasta in my bowl.
"I think he likes you." She laughs again. Wtf?
"He doesn't even know me." I begin to eat.
"I showed him your photo and he found you really pretty." She shrugs.
I make a face.
Wait, how does she have my photo?
"It's not about looks, Heidi." I roll my eyes.
"Of course it is!" She exclaims. "You wouldn't date an ugly guy would you?" She then laughs.
"I don't find anyone ugly." I shrug. "Everyone is beautiful in their own–"
She makes a gagging sound. "Yeah, sure." And I roll my eyes again.
I continue to eat, as she flips her phone out. "Look."
I turn to her and see a picture of a brunette guy, and roll my eyes. Again.
I know why she's doing this she wants Killian.
"Cool." I mutter, bluntly as I begin to eat again.
"I'll tell him you said that." She giggles and I grit my teeth.
"Heidi, I like someone else."
She stops giggling her eyes widening. "What? Is it Killian?" Her voice grows angry.
"No!"
"Then who?" She frowns.
"Jack." I say, and look up when mum takes a seat across from me.
"Jack?" She frowns but then her eyes widen. "Killian's brother!" She exclaims then laughs and I frown.
"He is such a pussy."
My eyes widen, and anger rushes through me, as I grit my teeth. "He's not." I spit and she rolls her eyes.
"He is, I don't know what I saw in him." She laughs. "You know? When I liked him and all." She laughs again, and I fist my hands up.
"I remember how he used to follow me around the house like a lost puppy, gosh that was hilarious and–"
"Shut up, Heidi!" I snap. "Stop talking about him like that, you don't even know him properly!"
Her laugh cuts me off. "Calm down, Layla. I'm just joking, it's not like you guys are still together, anyway."
"Just shut up."
She smirks. "If you really liked him, you wouldn't be so cosy with Killian."
I sigh. "Heidi, me and him are just friends, how many times do I need to say it? My heart is with Jack. We didn't properly break up anyway."
Heidi scoffs. "Well, you don't act like it." She glances at me. "And if that's the case you're practically cheating on Jack with the sort of stuff you do with Killian. Like, didn't you guys sleep together?"
"Me and Killian sleeping together means nothing, it really isn't that deep, Heidi."
"You do realise the phrase 'sleep together' means fuck, Layla." She rolls her eyes "Quit being so stupid."
I scoff. "Fucking bitch." I mutter under my breath.
"Excuse me?"
"Do I need to drill in the general version of the phrase into your head?" I snap. "I. Slept. Next. To. Him. That's it. Stop twisting every little thing that comes out of my mouth, for gods sake."
She scoffs in response. "Even so, that's exactly what couples do."
I shove the pasta into my mouth, angrily. "In that case. I don't care." I spit.
She laughs. "Wow. What a slut."
"Heidi, don't upset Layla like that, she's already upset about leaving her friends." Mum says to Heidi.
"I was just kidding." She laughs it off. "You know that right, Layla?" She grins at me and I glare at her.
"
If you change your mind I can still talk to Sam." She then says as I exit the kitchen.
