《His [COMPLETED]》(41) I do.

"Wake up," a whispered voice came from beside me. I snuggled further into the blanket and ignored the sound flooding to my ears annoyingly. "Cali, wake up," the small voice came out again. I groaned and shook my head slightly, I then sighed and relaxed again.

"For Christ sake, Matt, just pull her out of bed or something, dump some water on her if you have to, she isn't going to wake up with that kind of tone," I heard a louder voice resonate throughout the room.

"Why don't you wake her up, it's her wedding day she might be one of them women,"

"What women?"

"The bridezilla type," I heard a tut and the room finally returned to silence.

Suddenly, the blanket was pulled away and my body was left cold and shivering. I cracked my eyes open annoyingly and sat up straight. Two pairs of eyes looked at me as I looked at them.

"Bloody hell guys," I mumbled. Jordan and Matt laughed slightly as I looked at them.

"Come on, girl, it's your wedding day!" Matt gushed.

"How do you know, I didn't tell you," I stated. I was going to get them to come today anyway, the wedding wasn't until later this evening.

"I'm just going to pretend you never said that," he replied. Jordan made her way to the side of the bed until she grabbed my elbow and hoisted me up out of bed.

"What are you doing?" I groaned as she pushed me in to the bathroom.

"Get showered, we're helping you get ready," she smiled before closing the door. I was left alone in the bathroom. I huffed before taking off my clothes and getting in the shower.

I was dog tired but excitement bubbled up inside me. I really was getting married.

I obviously didn't wake up next to Kyle this morning which was okay. He must have taken me home late last night as I fell asleep in the hospital.

I shook my head as I wondered how I had landed a guy like him.

I found it crazy how in such quick time I had fallen for him, but I didn't count our love by time. There is no time for love, I mean, if you love someone then marriage is the token of that, you can't keep denying the fact you're not in love because it's happened too quick. It's not right.

After I had showered I wrapped a towel around me and walked back into the room.

Jordan and Matt sat there waiting as I entered.

"It's time to get you ready," Jordan led me over to a chair and under her force I sat down on the leather begrudgingly.

"Don't you think it's abit too early?" I asked as I yawned a little.

"Kyle rang us and told us to get you ready as soon as possible, I think he's a little excited," she stated as her eyes twinkled. I smiled at the thought.

"Well, okay," I shrugged and Jordan got to work.

As soon as I had woken up I was already getting ready for one of the biggest days of my life. I didn't care where it was held or how it was held, I was getting married and that's all that mattered to me. Kyle mattered.

"We're going to make you look beautiful," Matt drawled out as he pulled out a bag with what I assumed was a dress inside.

"You've got my dress? Does it fit?" I asked. Matt nodded.

"Kyle got it so I believe it would fit, it's absolutely amazing, Cal, you're going to love it!" He gushed. He was more excited than me.

"It is something," Jordan shook her head. "Fancy you being the first one to get married,"

"Baffles me," Matt winked my way when I gasped. I laughed slightly and grabbed the nearest item and threw it at him. He nearly squealed before he dodged it and ran behind the closet door. He was the most flamboyant boy I knew.

"It's started, Jordan you might want to move away from her, the bride is turning into bridezilla already I told you this would happen, did I not?" Matt asked from behind the door. I laughed and Jordan joined in too. I was so glad she was back and could share this day with me.

"Get back in here," I demanded light heartedly. Matt came walking back into the room as he slumped himself down on the bed.

Jordan started by doing things to my face, I didn't even want to know what she was doing and I couldn't care less, at least I looked decent for one day then I was game.

The room was silent for awhile as Jordan concentrated and Matt laid there in his own daydream.

"Are you both my bridesmaids? Matt I know you're a boy but I would love it if you would be," I suddenly said. Matt sat up straight and looked to me with a big smile.

"Of course! I got my suit ready anyway," he let out with excitement.

"And you, Jordan?" I asked. She looked to me and smiled my way.

"Of course, you didn't even have to ask," she said before concentrating on her task in hand.

It was good to spend a morning with my best friends and I felt extremely happy to start the day off this way.

Today I fully appreciated the world and my life as it came. Yes, there were things I would change and there were things that caused me to feel miserable, upset and scared, but I knew that I had everyone I ever wanted and needed.

Whenever I thought about my father it made me the happiest girl in the world to know that my father was the greatest man alive, he was a great father and a great man. I loved him so dearly, and I didn't want him to go soon, but I needed to cherish the day ahead and not let the thought of what was to come ruin our day.

"Cal," Jordan snapped me out of my daydream and my eyes flickered to hers. "Stand up," she has finished doing stuff to my face and turned the chair the other way and made me sit.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"It's time to do your hair," she stated as I looked at her through the mirror before me.

"You know what? I've never understood that, why do you do your hair and stuff before putting on the dress?"

"So you don't ruin the dress," Matt replied in a 'duh' tone. He knew more than me so I didn't even bother to reply.

As Jordan yanked and pulled at the strands of my hair, I thought about everything Kyle and I had been through. He was definitely the man for me no doubt about it, I loved him with every pore and fiber of my being.

We have been through ups and downs just like any other relationship and I couldn't believe we had made it this far. Marriage was a massive step, a massive level and I was surpised by how ready I was now.

When Jordan was finished, she pulled me up from the chair and dragged me until I was standing in the middle of the room.

"No peaking in the mirror," Jordan said before unzipping the bag the dress was in and bringing it forward.

I gasped at the silky lace material in awe as soon as I saw it. She held it out to me and I held the delicate material in my hands.

"Go and put it on," and I did as I was told.

The material felt just right against my skin as carefully stepped into it.

When the dress was secured and up to my shoulders, I gasped again at the feel and the texture of the dress against my skin. It was so soft and silky.

I stepped out in to the room and Jordan zipped me up. I turned around and Jordan and Matt stood there with admiration in their eyes, I had never seen anything like it.

"Well..." Matt trailed off. A tear fell down Jordan's cheek and I smiled at her lovingly.

"You look amazing in that dress," Jordan croaked. I laughed before walking up to her and taking her into my arms. "I can't believe my best friend is getting married,"

"Neither can I, this was definitely a turn for the books," Matt replied. I pulled away and then took Matt in to my arms.

"I love you guys," I stated as I pulled away again.

"I love you too, baby girl," Matt replied and Jordan was too busy trying to contain herself to speak. She was sniffling all over the place.

Suddenly, a loud knock came at the door. Jordan moved until she opened it a crack.

"I want to see her," I heard Kyle's voice come out from behind the door. My heart lurched in excitement. I was getting married to him.

"You can't, it's bad luck,"

"I don't need luck, I want to see her," he replied as he tried to push past. Jordan pushed him back.

"No, you can't see her, Kyle, go away and be patient,"

"Jordan, I'm telling you now, let me in," I heard his voice reply. I shook my head in exasperation.

"Jordan, it's okay, let him in," I rolled my eyes at Kyle before Jordan huffed and opened the door further to let him in.

I felt Kyle's eyes on my body and I shivered slightly. He didn't utter a word and neither did I.

He was already dressed in his three piece suit and I'm sure I dribbled on the spot.

Matt and Jordan slinked out the room quietly and then it was only Kyle and I in the room. I couldn't take my eyes away from his blue eyes, it was like the first day we met, and I still felt the way he affected me. I couldn't believe the ties were going to knot today for real, I couldn't believe this was it, another chapter for us.

His dark hair was slicked back and his facial features looked even more defined and stuctured, he really was breath taking, and all mine.

"Fuck," I heard him hiss before making his way further into the room before he was right in front of me. I could feel the heat of his body. "I didn't know you were going to look this good, shit, Cali, you take my breath away, you really do," he breathed as if he couldn't believe himself. His eyes were wild and distracted but I cupped his cheek nonetheless.

"You shouldn't be here," I whispered. Kyle shook his head and swallowed.

"Right now, I don't care, I'm happy I came,"

"You were meant to wait," he smirked at my statement and his eyes twinkled mischievously.

"I won't wait when it comes to you, I mean look, we're marrying each other today,"

"I can't believe it," I breathed as I looked into his eyes.

"I don't think I've had time to believe it, everything's nearly finished anyway and then we can get married in almost less than two hours," his eyes were wild with excitement and happiness. Mine mirrored his, I knew.

"Wow," I breathed again. I think I was still in shock. My hands came up until I was hanging on to the lapels of his suit jacket. He pulled me into his body as his hands came around my waist.

I rested my head against his chest as I snuggled in close. I inhaled his aftershave and my heart beat increased.

"I can't believe I landed a girl like you,"

"I say the same thing everyday," he kissed my head before suddenly, Matt came barelling into the room. He was dressed in his suit and he looked dashing.

"Times up, hot stuff, shoo," he waved him off and Kyle chuckled before pecking my lips and moving to the open door.

"See you soon, wife," Kyle winked before leaving. I smiled widely and my mood must have been contagious.

"I wish somebody looked at me the way Kyle looks at you," Matt gushed. His black suit looked amazing and his short hair was styled nicely.

"You're looking great," I stated. He spun around and thanked me with two kisses to the cheek.

"As are you," he replied as he bounced around the room.

Jordan came into the room just a while later. She was dressed in a dress that fitted her figure perfectly especially against her tanned skin.

"Looking good," I said as she came in. She giggled before sitting beside us on the bed. I guess now all we had to do was wait.

I wasn't nervous as much, not yet anyway. I was more excited than anything, and I knew soon all I had to do was make it a few more floors up.

The hospital room they let us have for the night was fit enough for the occasion of getting us ready, and I bet we looked comical in hospital dressed up for a wedding.

Truth be told, I couldn't wait to see my dad. I hoped he was happy.

Soon, Tammy came to collect us and I made my way to the chapel a few floors up.

"You look amazing," Tammy breathed as she saw me. We got into the elevator and Tammy stood beside me. "I'm so proud of you," I kissed her cheek and thanked her solemnly.

We got to the right floor and my excitement bubbled more in my veins.

"Is dad okay?" I asked Tammy. She said she would help get him ready and up for the day.

"He's great, bouncing actually," she smiled my way and for today I knew all our worries were in the backs of our mind.

"Where is he?" I asked as I stood outside the chapel. Jordan and Matt gave me a kiss on the cheek before opening the door.

"This is the last time I'll see you before you're married, crazy," Matt stated before closing the door behind Jordan and himself. I smiled and shook my head at his statement.

"That's weird to think about," Tammy replied. I laughed slightly. "But he's coming up in a few minutes, the nurse will help him," I nodded my head.

"Good,"

"Are you nervous?"

"I'm not, I'm more excited than anything," I stated truthfully.

"Fair enough, I really hope you have the best life possible," Tammy said and I saw the sincerity in her eyes and I pulled her into a hug.

"Is mom coming?" Tammy nodded her head.

"She couldn't miss it, I'm sorry,"

"It's not your fault, I wanted her to come," and I did. She was my mother and I wouldn't forgive myself if she didn't come.

The elevator suddenly pinged and I pulled away from Tammy to see my father coming out from the elevator.

We was dressed in his best suit, the one I helped him buy when I was just a little girl. I was surprised it still fit him, but I remembered that suit more than anything.

It was the suit I picked out when he was first starting his job in the business career. He turned out to be so successful. I was so proud of him.

He made his way over to us slowly as the nurse helped him. He pulled me in for a hug and kissed my forehead repeatedly.

"When I used to think about my little girls getting married I didn't think I was going to feel this proud and happy," he stated. He pulled away and looked at my dress. "You look as beautiful as the day I first saw you, even then I knew I was a sucker for you, you had me wrapped around your little finger, you both did," he shook his head as if he couldn't believe the sight in front of him.

"I love you, dad," so much.

"Don't cry, darling girl, don't ruin your makeup on your special day," I didn't know I was crying until he wiped the tear away.

"Sorry," I sniffed and tried to control myself.

"You know what?" He started. He brought Tammy in and wrapped an arm around her waist too. "I'm so glad to see one of my daughters wedding's before I go, and I'm so sorry that I'm going to miss yours, Tam,"

"That's okay, dad, no worries," she waved him off as if she didn't care.

"I'm going to miss my grand kids and that pains me more than anything, but I'm so glad I'm here today, I'm seriously the happiest father alive, and I know you both don't like to talk about what's to come but I seriously will die a proud and happy man, thankyou so much, my girls, you are everything, I promise,"

"Always here, ain't that right dad?" I said as I smiled fondly. I pointed to my chest where my heart was. My dad smiled in reply and cradled his chest.

"Always there," and then he pointed to the side of me. "And there, and when Kyle is being a dick I'll throw a lampshade at his forehead," I laughed at his statement even through my tears and he pulled me and Tammy into him again.

"It's show time!" I hurt Matt gush slightly and Jordan came back into sight. I straightened up quickly and my father helped me tidy myself up.

The music suddenly started to start and Jordan, Matt and Tammy made their way out and then it was only my father and I.

"Thanks for doing this for me," my father whispered into my ear. I kissed his cheek but I didn't reply. I looped my arm through his and we began to proceed down the aisle.

Kyle was the first person I saw, and I didn't even think about looking back.

Waking down here was like walking to my future, walking to the light instead of running into the dark. This was everything, everything to me.

Kyle smiled fondly, with so much admiration, sincerity and love. So much love I nearly crumbled.

We walked slowly so my father didn't have to rush, he wasn't that strong to do so and I could feel he was weaker than usual.

When we got there, my father gave me over to Kyle and Kyle smiled so widely.

"Thanks pops," he beamed.

"Look after her," it was a threatening demand. Kyle nodded and turned to me with the goofiest, happiest grin I knew. I mirrored him. I was so happy right now.

The service started and I admired how everything went. How smoothly and well thought out things were.

All my most important family were here today, and so were kyle's which only consisted of his mother and his father who smiled lovingly at their son.

I was all giddy and excited inside. I couldn't wait to finally call Kyle my husband.

The service went on for awhile, and Kyle and I stated all of our vows to each other with love and appreciation. I knew I promised my vows with every ounce of love and honesty. And I knew Kyle did the same.

"Do you Cali Johnson take the Kyle James Knight to be your lawful wedded husband?"

I didn't even have to think about my answer.

"I do," I let my voice ring out loud and clear.

"And do you Kyle James knight take the Cali Johnson to be your lawful wedded wife?"

"I do," he said without any hesitation. "I do," he replied again, loud and clear and with so much force and desperation.

Could I kiss him now?

"You may now kiss the bride,"

There we go.

Kyle came forward, took my into his arms and kissed me. I could feel the desperation, the love, the passion and everything inbetween into the kiss. An applause erupted around us, but everything dropped away as it was only Kyle and I.

When we pulled away, Kyle smiled down at me and I stared at the rind he slid onto my finger. It was beautiful and more than I could have imagine.

"I fucking love love love you," he whispered into my ear and my heart skipped when I realised it was what he said when he told me he loved me the first time.

"I love love love you, Kyle, I do so much," I couldn't tell him how much.

I turned around and saw the tissues in my fathers hand. I waved to him and he waved back with a wide smile on his face.

"You okay?" I mouthed. He waved me away and I nodded while he rolled his eyes. I smiled his way.

Kyle took hold of my hand and we made our way to the registration office.

When we were legally married, Kyle took me into his arms again.

"You're all mine,"

"I've always been yours,"

"Most definitely," he confirmed. "But now it seems more realistic,"

"I agree," I nodded.

"Don't ever leave me,"

"Kyle," I scolded. Kyle squeezed me further in his arms.

"I mean it, Cali, don't ever leave me, this is only the start," he said and I heard his insecurities, his raw emotions and everything rolled into one in his voice.

"I won't, Kyle, I won't I promise," I let out sincerely. I wouldn't ever leave him.

"Here's to the future," and he kissed my lips as a cheer. "Here's to the start of a new chapter together," he kissed my lips again. "And here's to the journey we have been on together, and that's a pretty long one considering everything," and he laid his lips onto mine and kissed me for longer.
