Suddenly pooja kneeled I confused "will you marry me" she asked me showing a ring.

My eyes widened I don't know what to say she was waiting for my answer "I will" I said chucklingly. "Really?" She asked me excitedly I nodded and kneeled front of her.

She put the ring on my finger and hugged me tightly tears formed in my eyes. I hugged her back tightly. "I love you so much rishi" she said.

"I love you too" I said and kissed her forehead after pulling back. We hear claps from background pooja and I looked at each other confusiongly.

We turn our heads to the direction saw everyone was clapping their hands. Raj was clicking photos and videos.

"I will show these pics and videos to your kids telling them how beautiful your love" raj said.

We both stand up I saw pooja parents who are not having happy face. I know they don't like this. Pooja held my hand and stand behind me.

"I am not angry pooja" her father said coming towards us "but you should tell us first" he said and patted his daughter head.

I saw Vivek who is watching us "I am so happy for you" he said smilingly I know he loved pooja and it will be hard for him.

"Pooja" her mom hugged her. "Sorry this is all my fault I should ask you first before fixing this marriage" aunty said.

"No aunty this is the right thing" Vivek said "if you don't fix this marriage like this maybe pooja never knew how much she love rishi" he said.

"You guys made your love story like a fairy tales" suji said I smiled "if suji isn't with me today I won't able to reach you like this" pooja said to me.

"Leave about us talk about your guys" suji said. "So tomorrow is you guys engagement" sri said I looked at pooja "Yes" I hear mom voice I saw her walking towards us.

She came and hugged me and pooja "I am so happy bro" Daksha said excitedly and hugged pooja. "Maybe not every girl will propose like this" she said winking at pooja who is blushing.

"Tomorrow morning is your day" Vivek said and smiling at us. I looked at pooja who is blushing and a big happy smile on her beautiful face.

"Now let's go" suji said pulling pooja away from me "meet your best friend as fiancé in tomorrow morning" sri said I held pooja hand.

She looked at me confusingly I took out the ring which she put on my finger. She frowned "why are you taking it off" sri asked.

I didn't break my eye contact with pooja. I held her hand and took off her ring which I gave.

"Tomorrow we will exchange these rings officially" I said and give my ring to her. Pooja smiled I kissed her forehead. Sri and suji take pooja with them.

I smiled watching her going with them she turn back while walking smiling at me.

A few years ago if you ask me about my relation with pooja i will say that she will always remain as my best friend but if you ask me now she was going to be my wife and my life partner.

I never thought that we successfully come out from every obstacles in our life together and becoming one.

"Should I apply mehndi now" suji asked me i nodded she start applying mehndi to my hands. We came back to my house.

I am so happy today I never imagine myself proposing rishi like this. If I remember that I am blushing like hell!!!

"Here is the dress" sri said placing the saree on bed. I sighed and looked at my mehndi which almost going to dry.

"Finally you are going to marry your love" sri said excitedly I smiled as I clean my hands after it went fully dried.

"Looks like rishi loves you so much" sri teases me looking at my darkened Mehndi I blushed.

"Am I looking okay?" I asked suji and sri looking myself in mirror. "Okay? You look so beautiful" suji said applying kajal to my eyes.

I smiled nervously "come let's go" mom said coming into room. "You look beautiful" she said hugging me.

As we went to venue I saw everything was decorated beautifully. I walked inside saw rishi was already there.

I climbed on stage with help of suji and sri. After we done rituals it's time for to exchange rings.

I was very nervous but one smile from rishi make me calm and forget everything.

I put ring on his finger with shaky hands. He held my hand softly and give a squeeze I calmed myself.

He put ring on my finger. We hear applause from our families. I smiled looking at rishi.

"Finally" sri shouted and hugged us. We took lot of pics with family and friends.

I was standing in corner and looking at rishi who is talking with his mom. If you ask me what would I do if I weren't get engaged with rishi then my answer is I don't know?

I really don't know what would I do and how would I able to survive myself if I weren't together with rishi.

But there you see destiny. Which always have plans for everyone and everything.

We can't decide whom we are going to married because destiny will done that job for us!

Rishi walked towards me and wrapped his arm around my waist "what are you thinking" he asked me I smiled looking at him.

Soon we hear photo click sound and turned our heads saw raj was holding camera and suji and sri, varun was besides him watching the pic of us which they took few minutes back.

I looked at rishi who is smiling he put his forehead on mine I closed my eyes recalling the every moment we spent together❤️
