"This girl will never listen to me" I said angrily "what happen Rishi" suji asked me placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Pooja happens," I said "what?" she asked me "this girl will be the death of me" I said and told her about Pooja.

"Call her father he will pick her" suji said but I don't think it was a nice idea "no suji uncle will be tensed she was my responsibility, I was the one who dropped her at college," I said rubbing my forehead.

"Rishi she wasn't your responsibility," suji said angrily I closed my eyes tightly.

Suji doesn't like Pooja much I don't know why I told her so many times that Pooja is only my best friend but suji doesn't like it.

"I think I need to go this girl switched off her phone" I said taking my bike keys.

But suji held my wrist stopping me "you promised me to spend time with me" she said. I sighed "I also promised Pooja that I will never let anything happen to her" I said taking her hand out.

"You know I love you only you," I said kissing her forehead and leaving to search Pooja. I know she was not in college I think I should go to her home route.

I closed my eyes tightly not opening them clutching my dress in my fist. Suddenly I didn't feel anything so I opened my eyes.

My eyes widened someone is held that man hand tightly I don't know if I saw him anywhere "how dare you touch a girl" that man said twisting the drunken man arm.

"Sorry we won't do it again," that drunken man said and ran away from here. I take a breath and looked at the man in front of me.

"Thank you so much" I said he smiled at me "next time don't scare just fight back" he said.

"Pooja" I hear someone shouting my name I saw Rishi park his bike carelessly and ran towards me.

"Are you okay?" he asked me suddenly hugged me I was shocked that we never hugged each other but in his arms, I felt safe.

"I was worried for you" Rishi said caressing my hair "thank god nothing happen to you" he said pulling back.

"Where is your phone can't you just stop your stubbornness for some time" he asked me angrily.

I didn't even say anything because no word is coming from my mouth my eyes just watching Rishi but in another way that I couldn't name it.

"Two men are trying to hurt her" that man who is saved me told rishi about what happened.

"Thank you so much for saving her I don't know if anything happens to her I won't forgive myself," Rishi said holding my hand in his.

"It's okay but trains her to be strong enough to fight back" he said "I will" rishi said.

"Then I am leaving, take care of your love" that man said I snapped my head to him confusingly.

"What?" I and Rishi asked him unanimously "are you guys, not lovers," he asked.

"No no, we are not," I said "we are just friends" Rishi said "oh sorry, the way you react with her I thought.... it's okay leave it" the man said "sorry" he said and left.

Whenever anyone say this Rishi and I would laugh but now I just don't understand why I didn't still laugh.

"Come let's go" Rishi said and take me to the bike and I climbed back seat. Rishi was driving the bike.

"Next time don't do this stupid thing" w said I climbed off from bike we are front of my house.

"I am sorry that I forgot but don't ever do this killer it was killing me" he said holding my hands.

I nodded my head "go and sleep" he said I nodded and went to the main door and turn back to see Rishi was still here and watching me.

I waved at him and knocked door mom opened the door I went inside.

I didn't tell them about this because I don't want them to be stressed. In the whole night, I didn't even sleep peacefully.

After I dropped Pooja at her home I went to suji house she must be very angry with me but I couldn't help myself when it's comes to Pooja.

She is my best friend I promised her that as long as I am alive I will never let anything happen to her.

I saw suji is waiting for me outside of her house when she saw me she came towards me "how is she" suji asked me.

"She is fine actually if that man didn't come on time I don't know what would happen to her" I said rubbing my forehead.

"What happen to her" suji asked me I told her what happen. "Why can't she just call her dad" suji asked me "moreover she wants attention from people" suji said I looked at her.

"What you mean?" I asked her not understanding her words.

"Don't start again suji, we already talked about this" I said sighing "okay okay," she said. Sometimes I was wondering why pooja didn't want to meet suji.

After I spend some time with suji I left to my home. I saw mom is waiting for me "mom I told you right don't wait for me" I said while she was serving dinner to me.

"If not me then who will wait for you" she said I smiled and eat my dinner with mom.

"Where is Diksha," I asked mom "oh your little sis is not little anymore, she already ate her dinner and preparing for tomorrow," mom said.

"Is she sure about going to her house tomorrow, last time I remember when I dropped her at her home she come back on next day morning" I said chuckled.

"Ask yourself," mom said going to her room. I went to Diksha room knocking door she opened the door with a sad face.

"Why is my big monkey is so sad" I asked her sat on her bed she also sat beside me. "I don't want to go, Rishi," she said.

"I know this" I mumbled we talked some hours like it was a big deal for me to put her to sleep.

When Diksha got married two months back I was so upset about her leaving mom and me but I understood sometime after Pooja explained me.

After my father died I got more responsibilities. I become more strong for mom and Diksha.

Life isn't easy for everyone but in my life, I have everything without even asking.

Mom and sister, love and best friend. Talking about my best friend if Pooja wasn't with me I don't know what will I do with my anger.

She makes me calmer and made me control my anger management. She changes me completely.

I am so lucky to have a bestie like Pooja...

I was daily praying that no one will break our friendship .
