《SS Arshi:The bet》part 5

She got out of bed and quickly dressed into a pair of worn jeans and a tank top as arnav waited at the door. She din't even bother check herself in the mirror before she rushed out.
The excitement of finding out what lavanaya wanted to talk to her about was taking over as she picked up her keys and walked out with arnav.
Arnav was impatient. One part of him wanted to accept her decision that she wanted to talk to lavanya but another part of him din't like her digging into personal lives of his team members.
Lavanya was waiting impatiently to give khushi the news. She couldn't contain the information that she had gained from her night with yuva.
Poor khushi…She did not know anything. She would be the bearer of the news. Lavanya thought in glee.
Arnav parked the car in front of the Caf that khushi had given directions for. He switched of the car and looked at her. Khushi was looking beautiful tonight. Without the make up and her curly tendrils falling on her forehead she looked like a school girl. His heart gave a lurch looking at her. Her face showed innocence. Was this it?? I think I am in Love with her he thought.
Khushi was busy removing her seat belt and looking for pen and notepad. She opened the door and was about to get out when she noticed that arnav had not moved from his seat and he was intently starring at her.
"Arnav..." she called out to him softly…
"Hah…" he shook his head to clear of the mesmerized feeling that was going through him.
"Shall we go" khushi asked.
Before, khushi could get down he pulled her towards him inside the car and gave her a sizzling hot kiss.

"What was that for?" Khushi asked.
"To remember me by for the next couple of hours. Who knows how long your meeting is going to be" he said with a wink
"Aren't you coming inside?" she asked surprised.
"No. I am not. You go ahead. I will sleep in the car till you get back" he said with a smile.
"O.k.!" She looked at him once again as she got out and walked towards the caf. She opened the door to the caf and looked back at the car once more. Arnav was looking at her with a smile on his face.
She gave him a tentative smile and went inside. Her eyes were searching for lavanaya. She saw lavanya sitting at the far corner in a private booth. She looked tensed and there was something evil that was emanating from her. Her instinct told her to walk out the door and not listen to lavanaya but her journalistic mind wanted to find out what lavanya wanted to tell her.
"Hey lavnaya" khushi said as she walked towards her.
"Hi! Khushi. It's so nice of you to come by so late at night" she said.
"Do you want to get a cup of coffee?" Khushi asked lavanya trying to postpone the conversation.
"Sure. I would like a Grande Cappuccino" She told khushi. Khushi got them both their respective choices and sat down.
"So, tell me what you wanted to talk to me about" khushii asked lavanyaa as they sat drinking their hot coffee
Lavanya had spent the night with Yuva in his hotel room. He had been drunk and he had inadvertently spilled one of their team's secrets to her. Once she heard about it, lavnaya had to share it with someone and the person she had to share it with was definitely khushi as she was part of it as well. She had left Yuva's room in the middle of the night to talk to khushi

It had been nearly half an hour and there was no sign of khushi coming outside of the caf. Arnav got out of the car and stood against the hood starring at the night sky.
He tried to examine his feelings for khushi. He had been with a lot of women before but with khushi he felt a connection which he had never felt with any woman before. He was definitely in love with her.
A brilliant smile came on to his face as he thought about a plan to propose to her tomorrow. Will she like a candlelight proposal or should I take her to an exotic place and propose to her in public…
"Na,," he said to himself. If he knew anything about khushi in the short time he knew her she would not like a public proposal, it had to be private.
Khushi walked out of the caf nearly an hour later. She was shocked by what lavnaya had told her. She walked towards the car as she neared she noticed arnav standing against the hood of the car.
She hesitated then shaking her head, khushi walked towards him. Arnav looked at her as she came closer.
"Khushi." Before he could even finish his sentence, khushi lifted her hand and gave him a tight slap. Her eyes were blazing with fury.
She took hold of his collars with her hands and shook him..."How dare you? What did I do to you? I saved you, you b*****d. I hid the truth about your injury and you slept with me because of a bet….a bet" She was screaming at him now. Tears streamed down her eyes as she looked at him with fury and shock.
