《RWBY: Batman Begins》Chapter XXXVI

Weiss woke up.
She was back in her bed at Beacon. For a second, she thought that everything that had happened was a dream. Crane poisoning her, Batman rescuing her, giving her the antidote. Had it all been a dream?
She sat up, realizing she was still in her Huntress uniform. She looked to the cabinet at the window, and spotted the three syringes Batman had given her.
It wasn't a dream! She grabbed them, and hurried to get back to Vale. She pulled out her scroll, and dialed Ruby's number.
"Weiss?"
"Ruby!" Weiss said into the scroll. "Are you alright?!"
"Me? Weiss, you were poisoned! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine! Our 'friend' saved me! But listen, I need to know where you are! I have something to give you!"
"I'm in the Narrows," Ruby said. "Weiss, something strange is happening here. I think there's a breakout in Arkham Asylum. Police, firemen, Huntsmen, Huntresses, and any good guy you can think of is coming over the bridge."
On Ruby's side of the call, she was standing beside Yang and Blake, watching as dozens of vehicles and bullheads flew into the Narrows. Around her, she could hear people talking about serial killers, rapists, and any kind of criminal breaking out of the asylum.
She had no clue what was happening. One second, everything was fine. The next, chaos was starting to build. She didn't know what had caused all of this, but she was hoping Batman would be here to help.
She was unaware of the fire at Wayne Manor that blazed bright in the black night sky.
A League of Shadows soldier stood guard at the door, making sure nobody would walk out. He didn't expect someone to come up from behind, bashing him in the head with a golf club.

"I hope you're not a member of the fire brigade," Alfred Pennyworth said, before running straight into the burning building.
He held his arm over his mouth, running as quickly as he could to search for Bruce. The house was too big, and if he didn't hurry, it would collapse before he could find his son.
Alfred turned a corner, and he finally found him, pinned to the ground by a log.
"Master Wayne!" he shouted, running to him. "Master Wayne!"
Bruce looked to Alfred. He had never been so relieved to see him.
The old butler grabbed the log, and tried to lift it. Bruce tried his best to help, but it would barely budge.
"What is the point of all those pushups if you can't even lift a bloody log?"
Bruce held in the laugh. Alfred's comedy was surprisingly relieving in this situation. But he didn't have time to think about that.
He pushed the log with all of his strength, his muscles burning up, and he rolled out of the way. Alfred knelt down to him, lifting him up, and running straight for the library with him.
He ran to the piano, and played the tune that opened the bookcase to the elevator. He carried Bruce inside, and pulled the lever to descend into the Batcave.
They crashed against the ground, and Bruce stared up at the flames above, allowing his emotions to escape with the tears.
"What have I done, Alfred?" he said. "Everything my family . . . my father, built . . ."
Alfred pulled Bruce's tux aside, and saw a huge, bloody mark on his waist. "The Wayne legacy is more than bricks and mortar, sir."
"I wanted to save Vale," Bruce said. "I failed."
The old butler looked at the saddened expression of his son. The boy had done everything to save his kingdom, but now he rested here, giving up on everything he'd fought for. It hurt him to watch.
"Why do we fall, sir?" he asked. Bruce broke out of his trance, looking at Alfred as he remembered the question. "So that we can learn to pick ourselves up."
Alfred smiled. It was a smile that filled Bruce with so much emotion. His previous disappointment with himself vanished, and he stared at his butler, no, his father, with love and admiration.
"You still haven't given up on me?"
"Never . . ."

Morcster Chef: Reckoning
Adventurers flock to massive crypts brimming with riches and promises of power. Heroes storm the gates of dark fortresses, their swords drawn in the name of freedom. Gods tear the heavens asunder, clashing over the fate of the realm itself. Arek cooks lasagna and tops it with a dash of finely chopped basil. Arek never wanted to fight again, but his plans have gone awry in the best way possible. After joining the Happy Sunflowers as their cook, Arek quickly grew attached to his new friends and party. After escaping a strange dungeon by the skin of their teeth, the group find themselves plunged into a struggle for power that has simmered beneath the kingdom for dozens of years. The strange power that has entered Arek and Ming seems to be spreading to the rest of the party, and none of them know what it wants. Arek's past barks at his heels, but he has no plans of going back to the person he used to be. The future seems uncertain, but there is one thing the orc knows for sure. He has meals to prepare, and, this time, nobody is going to kill his friends. All the recipes in this book are real recipes that I have personally made. The actual recipes will be included at the end of the chapter, and I highly encourage everyone reading to try them out. In addition, make sure to check out the Morcster Chef comic at this link! Morcster Chef: Reckoning is the 2nd book in the Morcster Chef series. You can read the first one on RoyalRoad at THIS link. IMPORTANT NOTE: Morcster Chef is a comedy / fantasy novel. It has equal parts cooking and Dungeons & Dragons style adventuring. It does not have: an OP / bitter protagonist, harems, excessively dark topics, or a depressing storyline. // DUNGEON Mechanics will start to appear around chapter 100+/Arc 3 of the story! \ Avan, a 25-year-old young man, is torn from his rather boring life. He awakens in Aorus, a world full of magic, monsters and dungeons. By a stroke of luck and an ominous skill called "Potential", he awakens a new class never seen before called Dungeonheart (Human). Dungeons, although sentient, are never sapient nor mobile. Join Avan as he pursues his passion for healing and martial arts, and building his very own dungeon at the same time. He’s the hybrid of a moving dungeon and a healer. "Healing Dungeon" will include City building, strategy, very little romance, exploration of the world of Aorus, and a touch of power levelling. (There are elements from other fantasy novels, as well as anime, games, and more). What will all be possible with a dungeon that can move, but still brings some of the familiar dungeon mechanics along for its journey? -- Please note that the beginning and thus the first chapters were really my first writing works in english, and can only be rewritten at a later time (lack of time in favor for new chapters) --(The writing style and also the story improves VERY much from the 12th chapter at the latest! Proofreading is available, but I depend on any well-intentioned advice from you guys). If you have any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or just because you feel like it, feel free to leave me a comment below the respective chapters! For every positive and serious review or rating, I am infinitely grateful! ;) I am a creature of few words and the beginning is therefore a little faster than I would have liked it now in retrospect. Please do not expect huge paraphrases and descriptions of the environments, but only what is really necessary to get into the scene. Cheers and hopefully see you in the comment section.

Jason loved to play dungeon games. The feeling of power to govern over a kingdom of monsters brought him utter deligth. Now his dream will come true and he will become a Dungeon Lord himself. Will he prevail or will the self depicted Lord go under along with his new found home. This is my first fiction and english is not my native. Just to have you warned. With this I want to do a little experiment, if anyone has an idea or wants to see something happen (for example some kind of monster or adventurer to show up etc) write in the comments and maybe I'll integrate it into the story if it fits.

"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
