"You there- give me your lightning magic!" Azul ordered. The scenery turned dark from Invidia's darkness. "And you, give me your athletic ability! Give it all to me! All of it!" he commanded, giving a maniacal look on his face.

A Scarabia student screamed in pain as his mana was pulled out from him before falling unconscious.

"What's Azul sucking outta these people?!" Ruggie asked. "They're all collapsing after he's done with 'em!"

"Looks like his signature spell sucks EVERY power out of someone if it's not channeled through a contract. I'm betting the contract is like a filter that limits his magic's effects" Leona theorized.

"What?! Kinda terrifying, don'tcha think?" questioned Ruggie.

"Indeed. After all...he has black magic, powered up by Invidia. The consequence of using taboo magic like that is gonna exceed his blot tolerance in no time" Y/n said, biting her nail.

"Azul! What are you doing?!" Jade asked. The group have arrived as Yuuna gasped in shock from the amount of darkness polluting the air, causing her to tremble in fear.

"Whoa, yikes. What's goin' on here?" Floyd asked.

"Dude, this does NOT look good!" Ace said in shock as he hugged Yuuna to ease her nerves.

"Is Azul going out of control?!" Deuce questioned.

"Looks like he's sucking different students' powers outta them by force" Jack muttered, observing the chaos.

"Eeep...Leona!" Grim yelled out. "You were bullyin' him, weren't you!?"

"Now you're blaming me?" Leona asked, glaring at the raccoon. "You're the ones who told me to turn the contracts into sand"

Azul then turned to Jade and Floyd, ink dripping down his face. "Jade! Floyd! Ahhh, you've finally come back to me" he cooed. "Would you believe that thanks to these FOOLS, I've lost my angelfish and all of my contracts? Which is why I'm going to need your powers now. Come on, give them to me!" he ordered.

"Hold on." Jade said, having a worried expression on his face. "Your signature spell is so powerful, it's impossible to control without a contract scroll. You know better than anyone what will happen if you do this!" he warned.

"But I lost it all, you see? Everything!" Azul frowned before starting to laugh again. "AHA HA HA! I'm going to revert back to my old self if I don't act now!"

"Y'know, Azul, I never saw you as lame before. But now? The way you're actin' is pretty lame" Floyd said, narrowing his eyes at his housewarnden.

"Stop it! You're not helping!" Yuuna scolded, punching Floyd in the arm because he is too tall for her to hit him with a chancla.

"Ooooh, is that a fact?" Azul asked, tilting his head. "I'm just a silly little octo-twerp who can't do anything on his own" he laughed. "That's why I'm going to take everyone's powers. I will rise above your perceptions. A beautiful singing voice! powerful magic! All of it, MINE! Hand it all over at once...so I can stand by my angelfish's side!" he absorbed more mana from the students who were fleeing. Ink continued to spread around him

"What's all that black gunk drippin' outta Azul?" Floyd asked, noticing the ink dripping down Azul's face. "That...ain't ink, is it?"

"He's using his signature spell too much. The blot is exceeding his cumulative tolerance! If he doesn't stop...he's going to overblot!" Jade shouted.

Y/n want towards Azul. "Azul!" she cried out. "Stop it! Don't listen to Invidia!" she shouted.

"Fufufu, too late little empress. After all, it's far too late to interfere with Master's plan!" Invidia laughed.

"AAAH HAH HA! AAAH HA HA HA HA!" Azul laughed as Invidia enveloped Azul. Ink filled his heart completely.

When the darkness engulfed him, his vision turned black, and all of a sudden, he saw Invidia, talking the form of Y/n

Invidia, know Y/n smirked as they began to sing an alluring song.

Azul felt himself move closer to the fake Y/n, like he was being lured by a siren

Through all the pain and the sorrows

Invidia as Y/n then place her fingers on Azul's lips.

"Hush now, dear children

To weary of life and deceptions

Azul widen his eyes at the sight of a forest surrounding him, as the forest seemed to be singing along with Invidia in a siren-like tune.

"Come little child

I'll take thee away

As the darkness cleared, it revealed a very dark Azul, and Invidia laughed as well, morphing into the blot incarnation of Ursula.

"Myah! His legs turned into octopus tentacles!" Grim's jaw dropped as Yuuna shivered more from fear. It was like her recent nightmares became reality.

"That's Azul's underwater form," Jade tells them.

"What's that behind him? It's so big, I couldn't squeeze it if I tired" Floyd whined.

"Focus on getting Azul back to his senses for now" Leona shouted.

"Yeah, otherwise we're gonna get the sea anemone treatment ourselves!" Ruggie warned.

"" asked Azul with Invidia's voice mixed in. "" he grinned.

"Aim your attack at Invidia!" Y/n summoned her ice staff as she prepared for battle.

"" Azul cried out, launching a powerful attack with Invidia's triton.

Yuuna blocked the attack that heading toward them by creating a shield around the group

"Let's make a deal, you and me..." Azul said.

"I'd go for it if this was the regular Azul talking, but you? Nah" Floyd declined.

"I couldn't agree more" Jade added.

"Grrrr!" Azul growled as he fired more powerful attacks

Soon after, everyone was on the floor, completely tried as some of them were injured from Azul's attacks.

"Tch. He's so powerful..." Ace coughed.

Y/n was the only one standing as she went in front of the group. "Yuuna! I want you to heal the others. I'll take care of Azul from now on" she ordered.

"B-but what are you?! You can't take out the heart of frost again" Yuuna shouted.

Y/n looked back to Yuuna with a smile. "don't worry. I got this" she said as she blocked another attack from Azul and Invidia.

Y/n took out the chest piece Morax has given her. "Father! Raise!" she shouted.

A glow of light appeared as a large eastern dragon made of light rose from Y/n's shadow. "I guess it's time, little one," Morax asked.

"Mhm. After all, the others are too injured" Y/n said, as the spell, she chanted transformed her outfit to that of a Liyue hanfu

"I see. and I believe you have a plan?" asked Morax. "Mhm" Y/n nodded. "I'm going to give him what he always wanted. My affection"

"I guess I can agree with that" Morax grinned, hovering about Y/n in his dragon form.

Y/n floated over to Azul. "Azul" she called out. Azul widen his eyes. "M-my angelfish...!" he called out.

When Y/n got close enough, Azul wrapped his tentacles around her. "" he hugged her, smelling her scent as well.

"Azul...I'm sorry..." Y/n muttered.

"" Azul smiled as she gently lifted her chin, and pressed a gentle kiss on her lips. Y/n widen her eyes in shock as she blushed, feeling his tongue play with his.

'Azul... you're kissing me like I'm gonna disappear if you stop...but don't worry....I will safe you' Y/n thought.

They separated for as Y/n did a hand signal to Yuuna. She nodded, "Micheal!" she commanded. Rows of golden chains broke free from the floor and wrapped around Azul, forcing him to let Y/n co.

"" Azul shouted. "" he cried out.

"Now, Morax!" Y/n moved back, flying an appropriate distance from Azul with the geo dragon following. She looked down as cryo and geo particles formed around her body. She then crossed her arms as Morax let out a roar. "" they yelled out. A large ball of snow with cryo and geo infused appeared above Y/n, as their voices launched the ball of snow down on Invidia.

"" Invidia screamed as the spell purified Azul from the blot.

"Azul...!" Y/n fell towards Azul, like an angel, gilding down and giving him a warm embrace. A large light enveloped Azul as his eyes widen. "All I wanted was the power to get back at my bullies...I...I just wanted to..." Azul muttered before Y/n and his's vision turned pure white.

Y/n is back in the plane of memories, with Azul next to her. He seemed to not notice her just yet as he began explaining his past. "The only place I ever belonged was inside an octopus pot," he said.

The scene changed to what looks like a underwater elementary classroom, with two merfolk towering a little octo-mer

"Hey, Frazzled Azul, ink-spewer!" a merchild called out, teasing the poor octopus.

"Aw, you gonna cry? Why don't you use one of your eight legs to wipe those tears away?" another merchild asked, laughing.

"C-cut it out..." child Azul cried out. "Why are you being so mean to me?" he asked.

Y/n heart clutched as she watched the scene.

"Run for it, quick! He's gonna ink us!" a merchild said with a grin.

"Aha ha ha! He couldn't keep u with us if he tried" the other merchild reassured.

Child Azul began to sob, hiccupping in between.

'How could they do this...this is like what...my past mother said...' Y/n gritted her teeth, not wanting to remind her past life. After all, it was traumatic.

"Unlike other merfolk, I have lots of feet with suction cups. I'm an introvert, and I never assert myself. I'm hopeless in both studies and athletics. I'm always alone. A silly little octo-twerp"

"The water gets all cloudy when he's around. He spews ink every time he cries!" the same merchild from before complained.

"He's always the first to get caught when we play tag. Playing with him is just boring" the other agreed.

"Ah, is that a fact? In that case, leave me alone. Keep running around in your little circles. Enjoy your utterly unproductive games! I have no tailfin to let me swim quickly. What I DO have are ten limbs I can freely control" Azul said with pride

"I'll just transcribe five times as many grimoires as people with merely two arms. I can generate my own ink for inscribing magic circles. Just you wait. One of these days...I'll show every last one of you airheaded merfolk!"

The scene changed again. As soon young moray eels stopped by Azul. "Heya, Octy. Whatcha doin' all crammed in that teeny little octopus pot?" a young Floyd asked.

"Shut up. Just leave me alone" Azul snapped.

"Wow. There are spells and magic circles drawn all over every spell here. A spell to change species, a spell to steal someone's voice...Have you been doing grimoire research with all eight of your tentacles this whole time" a young Jade asked.

"Don't touch any of it! You're asking for an inking!" Azul threatened. "I'm gonna study harder, and become as powerful as the Sea Witch herself! So go away and stop bothering me!"

"Octy here's pretty funny, Jade" Floyd giggled.

"I agree, Floyd. He's quite fascinating" Jade agreed.

"Then, after spending years studying everything I could get my hands on..."

"I hear one merman in the class next door suddenly got a girlfriend!" Floyd asked. In the scene, the Octavinelle trio were looking a bit older.

"Yes, and I hear that in return, his fine tenor voice now sounds more like a honking seal" Jade added.

"Is that right?" Azul smirked.

"I've also heard that someone got the silky-smooth, gorgeous locks of a Levia-fae they've always wanted," Jade said.

"But the tradeoff was that they lost the big tailfin they used to dart through the water" Floyd continued.

"Uh-huh. I see" Azul said, writing some stuff down.

"Fascinating work, Azul. Assuming that WAS your doing, I mean" Jade asked.

"And why would you say that?" asked Azul

"These foolish minnows couldn't hope to use such powerful magic" Jade told his reasoning.

"But you've been brushin' up since you were knee-high to a guppy, Octy!" Floyd added.

"...Heh. Heh heh...Heh heh heh! Ha Ha Ha! Yes, I see. I wasn't expecting the jig to be up quite so soon" Azul laughed.

"So, it this what we think it is?" Floyd asked, scooting closer to Azul in excitement.

"Yes, that's right" Azul smirked. "I've finally perfected it. See this magic-infused contract scroll? I can take any power from someone, so long as they sign in. I call it, This is a spell I'll use to show them all who's boss! Your fortes will all belong to me! Aha ha ha...AAH HA HA HA!" Azul laughed more.

"I never forgot for a second. The sight of those who mocked me. Those who bullied me. I've observed them for many moons. Now I have their weaknesses, their insecurities...I have it all! Once I know what foils him, I can take the tailfin of a fast swimmer. Once I know what troubles him, I can even take the voice of an adept singer. As long as I have this contract scroll, I am invincible! I'm not the same silly, lonely little octopus I used to be. With this power, I will rule over all. I'll make everyone who ever mocked me quaver and beg for mercy"

Azul flinched in surprise when he felt Y/n hug him from behind. "And you will get to do that. Just not in this way" Y/n informed him.

"huh? What do you mean, angelfish?" he stuttered.

"I mean it, you are my fourth soulmate. You ranting about me belong to you is true. And you belong to me as well" Y/n cupped his cheeks. "My silly little octo-twerp. The one I loved and cherish"

Azul blushed bright red when she called him, 'HERS'

A cryo gem appeared in Y/n palm. "If I may, can I put the mark of our love...inside of you?" she asked.

Azul stared at the gem in awe. "Mark of our love...? Does the others have this too?" he asked about Malleus, Riddle, and Leona.

"They do. After all, they are my soulmates as well. So you need to share, you naughty little octopus. You can't just have me all to yourself" Y/n scolded.

"S-sorry..." muttered Azul.

"It's alright" she smiled as the cryo gem got closer to his chest. "This will hurt a little, but just know, I'm here for you. I will never leave you" Y/n reassured him as the gem got absorbed into his chest, causing him to whimper from the pain.

"And inside your eyes, I see the light. I can feel your warmth, your heart so bright. Even though you've suffered, day and night. Deep inside, I know you're " Y/n sang a lullaby to ease Azul's pain.

"And if they stare, if they hurt you, I swear. That I'll never give up, I'll fight with you. No, it's not in vain. This is worth all the pain. And for us, I'll be strong tonight" Y/n continue singing until Azul's pain was gone completely.

Y/n kissed Azul on the lips. "Time to wake up, my little octopus~" and with that, a white light consumed them both.

A young Y/n swam around and eventually came across a cave. "Eh? Is somewhere there?" She asked. The reason why she was In her child form was due to her having another mental breakdown. She another nightmare about what happened to her twin sister, Yuma.

"Huh? Y-you're a Levia-Fae?" A voiced questioned. "If your just gonna make fun of me, then just leave me alone!" A octopus boy revealed himself, having a angry look on his face.

"Make fun of you? What do you mean?" Y/n huffed. "I decided to grace you with my presence and offered to be your friend. After all, I see how others treat you"

"Be my...friend?" The octo-merfolk's eyes widen.

Y/n the smiled kindly "mhm! After all, I think it's cool that you're a octopus! They are so cute and squishy!"

The octopus blushed a bit. "A-alright. I'll be your friend."

"Yay!" The girl cheered. "My first merfolk friend!" She then turned her attention back to the octopus. "Say, what is your name?"

"I'm Azul..."

"Azul? Wow! It's suits you. I'm Y/n. Y/n Chione. Nice to meet you, my new sea friend"

"Y/n....thank you for being my first friend..."
