"Azul had asked us to fetch you, angelfish. After all, you're supposed to stay with him as your friends complete their end of the deal" Jade smiled. "Isn't that right, Floyd?"

"Mhm~" Floyd sang, as he hooked his arms around Y/n, as Jade did the same thing to the other side.

"H-hey! I said I'm not some caged bird!" Y/n shouted in anger, struggling to get out of their grip. 'damn it, they must have come prepared with a strength enhancer potion to take me with them...tch'

"No need to worry. He only wants to do another duet with you" Jade chuckled a bit.

"Ugh..." Y/n moaned in annoyance as Jade and Floyd dragged her to Mostro Lounge

Y/n let out a sigh as she blushed in embarrassment from the dress she was asked to wear. "Don't you think that this is a bit...much?" she asked Azul, standing next to her at the back of the stage.

"This fits on you perfectly" Azul smiled, placing his chin on her shoulder as he hugged her from behind, his hands moving around her waist.

"This dress really makes you look so beautiful....my angelfish" Azul muttered. He cleared his throat as he held out his hand for Y/n to take. "Shall we dance?" he smirked.

"Alright. Let's get this over with" Y/n sighed as she and Azul walked on stage.

Someone in the crowd took out his phone and started live streaming the performance. A bunch of comments were saying how sexy and beautiful the famous Rebirth was and how the person behind the camera was lucky to see her sing once again in-person.

Azul looked at Y/n with a smirk, as a water illusion of Y/n when she is underwater, floated above.

When Y/n and Azul were done, she received a message from Yuuna that she and her friends need help underwater. 'So...that's why the Leech twins rushed out during the performance' she thought in her head.

"Sorry Azul-senpai, but I need to go," Y/n said, using magic to change her clothes to the NRC uniform.

"huh? But you still need to be-" Azul then grew quiet when Y/n ran away, out of Octavinelle. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. But then he let out a dark chuckle, putting a hand over his face. "Ah~ My beloved Angelfish...soon, you will be all mine...tch, but why won't you just pay attention to me only?"

"Come forth, ice! HYAH!" Deuce shot an ice spell from his pen that went to hit Floyd. But, the eel dodged. "Might wanna try upping the ante there, bud" Floyd grinned.

"Hey Deadeye Deuce, here's an idea: try actually HITTING with one of those shots!" Ace snapped. "Hyah!" he shot a spell, but just like Deuce, he failed.

"Heh heh heh" Jade chuckled. "Come, now. Put in some effort" he grinned as well.

"I don't see you doing any better over there!" shouted Deuce. Yuuna nodded as well when she was busy healing the boys using Micheal.

"No way. How could I miss like that..." Ace gasped in surprise before turning to Yuuna. "and Yuu! Stop agreeing with everything Deuce says!" Ace shouted. Lol, he was being jelly.

"Tch. Step aside" Jack growled. "I'll handle this! RAGH!" he fired another magic attack, but nothing happened, or that's what it may have seen. "What?! My spell swerved before hitting them! I see what's goin' on..."

"At least Sea Urchin knows how to pay attention" Floyd grinned.

"I shouldn't be surprised that a land beast has a keen eye" Jade hummed, having a grin plastored on his face.

"Since's I'm a nice guys, I'll do a solid and explain why none of your spells are hitting us" Floyd's grin got bigger. "I've got this signature spell, , see? It's a handy little number that interferes with your magic to ensure it fails! Ain't just neato?" he giggled.

"That ain't 'neato' at all! It's cheatin, is what it is!" Grim hissed.

Jade let out a sigh. "Floyd, do you really have to spell out your entire signature spell gimmick to them?" he asked.

"What's the big deal?" Floyd asked. "Knowing isn't gonna help 'em any" he said, huffing a bit.

"Fair enough" Jade let outa defeated sigh. "At least your magid is in good form today. If only you could do more consistent about it" he advised. "When you're not in the mood, it never works at all. That's rather hard to plan around, you know"

"This is nothin' more than a game to them" Jack growled under his breathe. "If we don't get outta here, they're gonna hang us out to dry!"

Yuuna flinched. "W-we'd better work out a new plan!" she shouted.

"Aha ha! Come back as many times as you want. It won't make a lick of difference!" Floyd laughed. "With those sorry legs of years, you'll never outswim mermen"

"We'll be waiting for your next visit" Jade chuckled..

"Rgh, this stinks! I'll remember this, okay?!" Grim hissed as well as the group swam away, but before the noticed, Yuuna let out a surprised yelp.

"Eek!" Yuuna shrieked.

"Yuuna!" the boys yelled, as they tried to go for her, but it was like some magic was keeping them from getting to Yuuna.

What happened? Well Floyd and Jade were giving them a chance as they managed to catch Yuuna, wrapping their tails around her body.

"Why leaving so soon, little shrimp? Come stay and play with us!" Floyd asked, hugging Yuuna close to him as Jade played with her hair.

"You little quite cute when you're being cornered" Jade chuckled a bit, letting out a smirk.

"And so tiny!" Floyd cooed

"Oi! Let her go!" Ace shouted, firing more spells that didn't really work at all. "Tch..."

"L-let me so!" Yuuna pleaded, trying to squirm out of the twin's gasp.

"Haha, Jade! She really does look like a little shrimp!" Floyd laughed.

"Now, Floyd, don't squeeze her too tightly. After all, we like our mates alive" Jade smirked, pressing a kiss on her hand.

Suddenly, large seaweed made of pure ice sprouted from the ocean sand, separting Yuuna from the brothers. But sadly, Floyd didn't move in time so the ice created a large wound on his fin, causing blood to leak out.

Jade and Floyd wided their eyes in surprise including Yuuna and the boys.

"I think it's best to keep your tails off Yuu-chan" a voice said. It was Y/n, but in her underwater form.

Her long hair floated beautifully under the water like a sea goddess, as her feathered ears were now fins. Her normal scales she had on her body were more visible, her feather wings turned to fins, as her the fluff on her tail was replaced with a fin as well.

"Y/n!" Yuuna shouted.

"Go, guys! I'll keep them off your backs for a bit!" Y/n shouts as Ace and Deuce took the chance to grab Yuuna and swim back to the mirror.

"Ne...angelfish, that attack hurt~" Floyd winced from the pain as his demeanor changed a bit. Jade went to his brother to help him with the deep wound.

"Sorry, Floyd. But you guys were really corning her. I had to, you see" Y/n said with the look of indifference.

Jade chuckled slightly. "You may have won today, but remember, a deal is a deal, when Yuuna fails, you will belong to Azul" he said, helping Floyd swim.

"Heh, I wouldn't count on it" Y/n turned to see her friends already gone, back to the mirror chamber. "Goodbye. And Floyd, I'm truly sorry for the wound" she frowned a bit, as she swim away as fast as a morray eel merfolk, which shocked them

"It seems that Levia-faes are quite fast as well" Jade commented as he swims back to Octvinelle with Floyd. As soon as they arrive back, Floyd got his tail treated, as it became good as new after 1 hour.

"You guys okay?" Deuce asked, huffing from getting used to breathing air again.

"I think so.." Ace replied.

"I wasn't expecting them to actually be mermen..." Jack added. To be honest, he was startled a bit.

"It was almost a feein' frency there- with us as the chum! Swimmin' that fast ain't fair!" Grim huffed in annoyance.

Ace nodded as well. "Well, yeah. Merfolk are literally in their element underwater. I heard that Levia-fae are just as fast when underwater and on land" he shuddered a bit, remembering how Y/n saved them.

"But we gotta get that photo fast, or they're gonna confiscate Amaryllis Dorm..." Grim started.

"A-and Y/n..." Yuuna added.

"You guys need to think of an actual plan" Y/n said, appearing from behind Yuuna, causing everyone to jump. "W-wha! When did you get here?!" Ace asked, having his palm over his heart.

"I've got here about the same time you guys arrived" Y/n deadpanned, crossing her arms.

"oh..."

"I-I agree. We need to rework our plan here" Deuce said after calming down his nerves.

"Yeah" Ace agreed with them. "Cater likes to say he's got his finger on the pulse of the community, so why don't we get some input from him?" he suggested.

"It's also a good idea to go back to Savanaclaw and see what Ruggie and the others have to share" Jack suggested as well.

Everyone nodded as they left the mirror chamber to head to hall of mirrors and towards the Savanaclaw mirror, but not without Y/n using some magic to dry everyone off.

By the way, Y/n was the only one who came back who was completely dry, including her hair, as she went back to her normal looks when she on land. No more fins. Back to feathers.
