《Winter Wonderland》Red Rose tyrant: part 16

3rd Period was World History, in which instead of learning about Magic, the class would be learning about famous Monarchs, wars, regulations, and famous figures in history that changed the world, especially about the Great Seven, along with Teyvat's history and Seven Archons.
This class was taught by an energetic professor, Ellias Sanderson..
"Welcome to World History, my little wizards and witches. I shall teach you about our world's history and Teyvat's history during medieval times." Ellias clapped his hands, making the students pay more attention.
"He is certainly more lively than professor Trien" Ace noticed as Yuuna chuckled
"Open up your textbooks to pages 20 and 5 in your workbooks. Make sure to fill out the outlines while we read. We will start off with sections one and two, then do corrections and answer any questions you may have." Ellias says, waving his wand in a teaching manner.
Professor Ellias's class was very fun to be in, as he made some occasional jokes and puns to ease up the morning, after all, they did come back from Magic History with a professor who literally casts sleeping smells. Soon after, it was 4th period.
P.E (Physical exhaustion! Pure Torture!)
"All right, you bean sprout! A brilliant magician must have a healthy body! Feast your eyes! These are muscles I forged from drinking raw eggs every single day...!" PE teacher, Ashton Vargas shouted towards the student who was wearing gym clothes. Everyone was there, but Y/n.
"You need strength to be a magical...ugh.." Ace grumbled.
"whoa...!" Deuce sure was excited.
"But where is Y/n?" Yuuna asked the PE teacher.
"Oh that Frost Queen? Well, she is busy doing 20 laps in the nearby indoor pool. She has a lot of stamina! Especially swimming in a pool that is steaming cold! If you ever want to swim, we must build your stamina if you ever want to swim in water!" Vargas announced putting up his whistle.
"No fair! We get to sweat like crazy as Chione gets to chill.." a student complained.
"Must be favoritism..." another said.
Vargas then blew this while, "Now, Give me twenty laps around the field! Then give me one hundred push-ups!"
After that, Vargas blew the whistle again. "You can't be tired after just that?! Go do another set!" he ordered. Everyone soon collapsed, completely tired from the hard training.
"This sucks! haah..." Ace panted while catching his breath, sitting down on the floor. Grim was laying on his back, tired as well, "How're you still standin' Yuuna...?" he asked the girl, who only stretched her muscles.

"oh? That's because doing this training in normal for me. But, the difference is that it seems a bit too easy..." Yuuna answered.
"I'm sure they're fine!" a female voice called out. It was Y/n, laying down in the shade on a beach chair with sunglasses. Most of the boys blushed at the sight of her wearing a cute swimsuit.
"Why are you over there?!" Ace shouted back as Deuce panted a bit, with his eyes widening.
"Oh, I see you have completed you're swimming. Feel free to go to the locker room to change! Yuuna, go join her" Vargas yelled over to her. After all, she was about 30 meters far.
"Alright!" she used her magic to put away all the stuff and headed as Yuuna nodded and started to jog towards the new locker room that was prepared for Y/n and Yuuna. Why? The answer is quite obvious.
Soon after PE was done, it was Lunch.
[At the dining hall]
"Finally...lunch" Y/n sighed a bit, having a headache already.
"Uwahh! This place is chock full a' tasty looking stuff!" Grim cheered, drooling a bit at all the food.
"I'm starin' after all that thinking!" Grim says. "What thinking?" Ace grumbled, looking down at Grim.
"Who's the one who ran away after saying our classes were boring, huh?" Y/n asked, obviously irritated by the cat.
"Ya! You have been giving us tries since day one..!" Ace complained.
"I'll go save us a table.." Y/n says, walking away. After all, she doesn't need to wait in line, she made her own food.
Y/n sat down at an empty table, and took out her large bento box that would be usually for 4 people...fancy as ever.
When she began eating, she got a notification on her Magicam account. It was from Lillia.
Hello Lillia
What do you need?
That's all?
Oh come on, it was that time of the month!
-cute angry emoji-
Sometimes Lillia would start acting like the type of parent who says stuff that embarrasses their child. Y/n let out a sigh but turned around when a yell echoed around the cafeteria. She looked over to see Grim has bumped into some students from Heartslabyul. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" the student shouted, kicking his foot towards Grim, who just dodged at jumped up in Yuuna's arms in fear. The girl also slumped her shoulders in fear as well.

"My carbonara! You broke the yolk!"
"Whoa, that's messed up! Pokin' the egg is the best part!" the delinquent's friend said, glaring at Yuuna and Grim. The student grabbed Grim by the collar. "I'm going need that grilled chicken of yours as compensation"
"Are they for real...?" Y/n mumbled from her table, watching the scene.
"Myah?! No way! Hands off my chicken!" Grim yelled in retaliation.
"That's no way to speak to an upperclassman!" the delinquent shouted.
Deuce tried to stop a fight from breaking out, "Um, excuse me, sir, but it said in the handbook that fighting with magic is prohibited..."
"Fighting? You got it all wrong. This is just me helpin' an ignorant freshman know his place"
"Start getting your teeth!"
Yuuna hugged Grim in a protective manner, as Deuce and Ace were about to fight.
Y/n had just enough of this. She stood up, as her sudden anger made the temperature in the cafeteria dropped, making most people shiver.
"Ara, ara"
The 2 delinquents froze in fear, but they try to act tough because Y/n was a girl.
"Fighting over something as rediculous is completely inappropriate, especially towards a group of freshman who are obviously weaker than you.." Y/n says.
"So? What is a slut of a women like you gonna do about it?" a delinquent smriked. Most of the cafeteria gasped from shock of the insult those the Frost Queen.
"Slut...you say" Y/n walked in front of Yuuna and Grim.
"I'm sure if your housewarden were to see this insolate behavior, it would be off with your heads...but he isn't here, so I shall deliver the verdict" Y/n says, having a very dark smirk. The delinquents continued to try look tough as one charged towards her, but was immediately frozen in place. "W-what the hell?!"
"Fufufu, how dare try to attack a queen. Now I can punish you without any guilt" Y/n grinned waving her head as she started to sing, a song to cause harm...
"oh yea? Try me!"
"heh..."

"Chi chi chi... (Blood, Blood, Blood)
Chi ga hoshii" (all it wants is blood)
she started off, as some students in the room widden her eyes. "Beastie, you can't" Lillia mumbled, but was unable to seat up from the icy cold temperature, she was really pissed.
"Guillotine ni, so so no wo (Give the Guillotine the blood offering)
Nomi mono o (Blood to slake its thirst)"
Y/n continued as the delinquents were confused, as they got ready to charge again.
"Guillotine no, kawaki wo i yasu tame...(So the blood that flows, the guillotine's thirst is never quenched)
Hoshii no wa (Only thing it wants)"
'it can't be...Blood's refrain' a certain house warden thought. He was about to punish those delinquents but Y/n beat him to the chase.
"Chi chi Chi...(Blood, Blood, Blood)"
As soon as Y/n finished, an illusion came rushing towards the view of the Delinquents, kinda how the Raiden Shogun took the traveler to the Plane during their first encounter.
[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]
The delinquents looked around to notice that there were laying underneath a guillotine, in front of a crowd. What make them start panicking more was that they were chanting to the very same song Y/n was singing. The executioner raised its ax above when the chant was closing to an ending, and finally, slammed it down on the rope that held the blade.
It immediately beheaded the delinquents, taking them out of the illusion, screaming in pain and fear.
Except, there was no voice, they just collapsed on the floor in fear, sweating bullets, and touched their neck to see if their head was still intact. In fact, it was like actually being beheaded, and when the blade comes down, you are killed, unable to make a sound.
"W-what did you do..?!" one asked, wincing in extreme pain. The pain of being beheaded by a real guillotine was all so great, especially since the delinquents were still alive, feeling the blade.
Y/n bend down over on one knee, looking towards the two bullys. "I cast a spell with my voice to cause immediate pain to others. Did it hurt? Was it perhaps much worse than getting your magic seal?" Y/n asked, darkly.
"Y-you're a monster...!" delinquent two shouts, but regrets it when still feels extreme pain in his neck.
"If I'm a monster..." Y/n stood up, gesturing towards Ace, Deuce, and Yuuna to head towards the table she sat, and turned towards the delinquents, "...what are you then?" her words were definitely sharp as a guillotine, as the delinquents shivered in fear, learning their lesson.
Hopefully...

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

(Un)Prophesied Heroes
A regular guy in his 20s gets sucked into a world full of levels, monsters, gods, and propchecies with nothing but his ukulele and the clothes on his back. Uke in hand, Wesley made his way to the local branch of the Bard College to pick up a few levels and hit the road to travel the new world. For a while its all magic forests and incredible sights, but as time goes on it seems more and more likely that Wesley is actually one of these "prophesied heroes" that the lore on this world is full of. Fortunately for him, whatever Dark Lord he was supposed to duel didn't seem to get the memo and the world seems to be at peace. So it's probably nothing, right? This is the story of Wesley's adventuring party as they do their best to get him to fulfull his destiny. A power-hungry [Rogue], a slightly evil [Cleric], a [Mage] that just wants to go home, and a [Lord] who just wants to study the blade. Hopefully destiny is on their side, because the gods seem content to watch them struggle. Author's Note: This story should update once per week, but it might update more. Please leave any constructive criticism/typos I might have missed in the comments. Please enjoy, and let me know what you think!
