《Winter Wonderland》Welcome to the villains world: part 2

"Not at all!" Crowley said, emphasizing every word, clearly baffled that the house wardens thought that he was skipping or something else.
Riddle: "Ah, speak of the devil" he mumbled.
Crowley: "if you must know, I was searching for the new students who'd failed to show for orientation." he tried to defend himself. He then turned towards both of you and Yuuna.
"You two are the only ones who have yet to be assigned a dorm. Step up to the Dark Mirror, and be quick about it. I'll watch the weasel." he instructed them to do. Y/n and Yuuna both stood in front of the mirror, as Y/n stepped behind Yuuna.
Y/n: "You can go first, since you aren't really familiar with this place" she said. Yuuna nodded nervously. But there is something that a certain red-head noticed.
Riddle: 'That's not a male's voice...it sounds more feminine...it this person perhaps a female? What is a female doing at this school? why did the headmaster not notice it?' he thought.
Grim only let out a small muffled growl. Then the mirror spoke. "State thy name"
"Yuuna...Yuuna Enma." stuttered Nana. The mirror paused for a bit, but then spoke again.
"The nature of your soul is...
......
......
...unclear to me."
"What did you just say?" said Crowley, he was quite shocked. The mirror spoke again, explaining what it met.
"I sense rare magical power from her. It shines like a star above, with an overflowing amount of mana, she has so many colors in her soul...even up to par with the great 5 magicians. Therefore, no dorm would be appropriate for such greatness." it concluded.
"Are you suggesting that the black carriage went to receive a person who is up to par with Mr. Draconia?! And unable to be selected into a dorm...Never has a student ever been on equal grounds with one of the great five magicians" students began to whisper to themselves, as the headmaster turn his attention to Y/n. She could only gulp in response and blushed at all the attention she was receiving from being just as powerful as Malleus Draconia. Did the headmaster fail to notice that the mirror said 'she'?
"hey, how about you? step in front of the mirror" Crowley asked me. I would be lying to say that I wasn't nervous. But since that I was good at magic, perhaps I would be in the Diasomnia dorm?

Mirror: "State your name"
"Y/n Chione" as soon as the words flew out, the mirror's eyes widen, along with everyone else.
"Chione?"
"You mean...the last name of the Leviathan descendants?"
"Wow...a descendant of Leviathan is going to attend this school?"
"Cool...but at the same time, kinda scary"
"Chione? So you're telling us that you're A Chione?" asked the headmaster as I blankly looked at him. "Yes, indeed. Now let's just finish this...after all, I'm tired of just standing." I kinda ordered. The headmaster was a little bit stiff as I tried to ignore all the students whispering.
I look in the mirror and didn't look so shocked anymore. "The nature of your soul is...I also don't know."
Crowley: "huh? Is Mr. Chione also on equal grounds with draconia?"
Mirror: "No, far from it actually. She is far stronger and greater than the great 5 magicians. She is as powerful as the Seven combined. Her soul shines as bright as the sun, yet cool as frost. Therefore, she is suited for all dormitories"
The house wardens, Headmaster, and the students were all shocked by this, including me. "Seriously? I knew Miss Chione was strong, but suited for all dormitories" a student murmured.
"Suited for all dormitories?! Never in Night Raven College has ever had a student who was sorted in every dorm- wait...did you call them both...' she'?" Crowley asked the mirror?
"He finally noticed?" Azul asked.
"It seems so," Riddle answered.
"Headmaster Crowley...are you blind or something? or perhaps stupid? Miss Yuuna and I are clearly females, as the mirror said it the first time with Yuuna. I'm surprised you haven't noticed it...like we clearly have a bigger bust size than most males here" I asked him coldly, as Crowley could only blush in embarrassment, along with the other students about us having boobs. After all, WE ARE FEMALE.
Crowley: "But why in the world are females here? This is an all-boys academy.."
Yuuna: "so that's why I haven't seen another girl.."
Y/n: "mhm" I let out a sigh as I put my hood down, revealing my coral horns of a Levia-fae, and long h/c hair that was over my shoulder. My eyes looked around the room as I noticed the house wardens were staring at me? I felt a stinging sensation on my body...I'll have to see what the pain is from later, but why do five of them seem...familiar...

What I didn't know, is that all the dorm leaders, except Kalim, thought of the same thing as I did.
"Wow...she really is a Chione! Just look at her horns!"
"I have never seen a Levia-fae before...I thought they were just legends"
"Look out cute they both look tho!"
"will they really be our classmates?"
"Mmmmfh....Myah! I'll take their place! Unlike them, I'm male!" Grim finally got out of the cord.
Yuuna: "it escaped..." I noticed that she was a little scared since grim threatened her earlier.
Crowley: " Not so fast, you hyperactive weasel!"
Grim: " I'll show you! My spells're the cat's meow!" as soon as he said that, Riddle shouted for everyone to get down as Grim was about the shoot fire toward Kalim. Kalim tried to get out of the way but his bottom was still caught on fire. "Gah! My butt's on fire" he shouted
Crowler: "Someone catch that blasted animal before it sets the entire school ablaze!"
How about you do something sir, instead of relying on your students..
Leona: "Ugh. Can I go now, or...?"
Vil: "Oh? I thought you fancied yourself a hunter. Go and help yourself to that plump little morsel!"
Leona: "Too much effort. Do it yourself."
I let out a sigh as Yuuna was hiding behind an ice wall I created for her to hide behind. I'm still shocked that I'm like, op...great power comes with great responsibility, I'll make sure to use it to help others.
Azul: " Headmaster Crowley, please leave this to me. I'm sure the others couldn't stomach up harassing the poor creature. I'll take the responsibility to catch it for you"
Idia: "Way to go Azul. Rackin' up those participation credits."
Kalim: "Hey, um, my butt's still on fire... Could someone maybe put this out?!"
Crowley: "I'm sorry, were my instructions unclear?!"
"here," I said, forming a small ball of water above my hand and using it to extinguish the flames on Kalim's butt.
"It is just an annoying weasel. Can't you just catch it yourself, headmaster?" Leona asked, tiredly.
"Grrr...I'm not a weasel! I'm the great Grim!" he shouted angrily as he shot more fire, and shot one towards my direction.
"Y/n!" Riddle, Leona, Azul, Vil, Kalim, and Idia shouted in unison. Was it a coincidence that they literally just shouted my name in unison?
I impatiently moved my hand upwards as ice followed soon after, creating an ice wall to extinguish the fire. "tch, you got some nerve.."
Everyone sighed in relief that nothing bad happened to me as I used my power to have the ice walls crystalize into thin air, causing Yuuna to gasp a bit since it was quite pretty.
Azul: "-sigh- this creature sure is moxie. Care to lend a hand Riddle?"
As soon as Riddle calmed down..
Riddle: "I can't overlook those who dare break the rules right in front of me... Azul, let's get this over with"
"No need," I said, stopping them from attacking Grim.
"What...?" Riddle and Azul asked me, surprised.
"This will only be a waste of time and mana for you mortals. So I'll do it myself quickly" I said.
"But, we can't let a lovely lady do all this troublesome work?" Azul tried to reason with me as Riddle only agreed, but they and everyone else shivered a bit when the temperature of the room went down, as I was admitting a cold aura, that caused the area underneath me to freeze.
"Don't worry, this is child's play" I said, raising my hand up, as a reflection, made of pure water, in the shape of a large wing rose up, matching my arm's movements. "you caused quite a ruckus for someone so GREAT, Grim..." I grinned, as the wing was surrounded by ice and snow particles.
Myself calling Grim "great" stunned him a bit, "But, karma always followed when one commits bad deeds. So let's clean up the mess you made...now...icy judgment" I said as I lowered my arm harshly as the wing followed, smashing it towards the floor, causing ice to sprout beneath it, extinguishing the flames and then stood crystalizing it, causing the students to look at the surroundings it aw, the particles looked like small stars around them as they faded away.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
