It was a couple weeks until Christmas and Georgie was sat watching Archie and Allison fight over where the Christmas decorations should go on the tree.
"It doesn't go there Archie it looks stupid!" Allison snatched the decoration.
"Well I think it looks good there!" He shot back.
"My cookies are ready, can I trust you two to not kill each other whilst I'm gone?" Georgie stood up and headed to the kitchen to get out the Christmas shaped cookies she made.
"She started it!" Archie whined
"How are you older than me?" Allison shot back as Archie stuck his tongue out at her.
Georgie got the cookies out of the oven and layed them out to cool down as her phone rang.
"hey Betty you ok?"
"Georgie Pops has had a heart attack, we were getting a milkshake and heard smashing in the back and pops lying on the floor!" Betty explained
"Oh my god! Is there anything we can do?"
"Well me, Jug and Ronnie are running the diner for tonight, can you ring his son and see if he can fly over?"
"Sure I'll do that now" Georgie told Betty hanging up.
"Arch!" She shouts and sure enough he Pops his head around the door with tinsle in his hair as Georgie laughed at him.
"Pops has had a heart attack, he's in hospital, I gotta ring his son Nathanial"
"Do you have his number?" Archie comes closer wrapping his arms around you.
"Yeah I saved it from years ago I just hope he hasn't changed it" Georgie told Archie and Allison to decorate the cookies as she went to call Nathanial.
"Hi Nathanial? This is Georgie Snow from Riverdale, do you remember me?"
"Hey Georgie how are you?" Nathanial replied.
"I'm good thanks listen your dad has had a heart attack, he's in hospital at the minute, is there any way you can get over her?" Georgie explained.

"Oh my god Is he ok? I don't have the money to fly out right now" he explained.
"Don't worry, I'll pay for your flight and you can stay at his house, that sound ok?"
"I can't ask you to do that" he pleads
"Please, it's the least I can do, Pops is like a father go all of us, I'll book a ticket now and send you the details ok?" Georgie explains.
"Thank you Georgie so much!" He explains hanging up.
Georgie booked the flight for him from Texas and hours later here he was. Georgie and Betty go and pick him up from the airport as the others do a shift at the diner.
"Nathanial!" Georgie shouts as he comes out of the airport.
"Georgie good to see you and Betty cooper I haven't seen you in years" he hugged the girls.
"Come on we'll take you to the hospital" Betty smiled.
Once they got to the hospital Pops was awake and Georgie walked in first.
"Pops I've brought someone to see you" Georgie told him as Nathanial walked in.
"Nathanial!" He smiled
"Hello dad" he sat by his head as they hugged.
"But how? I thought you couldn't afford to come home for Christmas?" Pops asked
"Well Georgie got in touch with me and paid for me to come out here, I'm gonna stay dad, well for a while at least until new year" Nathanial explained as Pops has tears in his eyes turning to Georgie.
"Thank you Georgie" he told her
"Hey anytime, now you concentrate on getting better, don't worry we are totally in control of the diner" she smiled her million dollar smile and left.
Georgie gathered everyone in Pops to think of ways to to raise more money for pops when he comes back.
"So we need something to raise money, any ideas?" Georgie shouts.

"We could do karaoke? I mean for people who can actually sing" Cheryl suggested.
"Then what's the point of karaoke?" Jug told her.
"No maybe Cheryl has something!" Georgie jumped down and walked outside.
"Where's she going?" Ronnie asked.
"I have no idea" Archie said as they followed her outside.
"We can do it on the roof! We can have hot chocolates and blankets and a fire pit! And people can perform up there" Georgie told them.
"The roof?" Betty asked.
"Yeah it's the prefect place!"
"We'll get it sorted!" Betty smiled.
That Saturday night it was time for the event. There were many people who showed up and showed their support for Pops.
There were many people that performed that night, Josie, the pussycats, Veronica, Cheryl. It was late and the last act was Archie, he'd been nervous about it the whole week.
"I don't know if I can do this" he began to panic.
"Hey! Look at me! You can do this! I will be stood right down there, you panic you look at me ok, I love you"
"I love you too"
Georgie walked onto the roof and whistled to get everyone's attention.
"And now the last act of the night, my fiancé, Archie Andrews" everyone cheered and clapped as Archie came on stage as Georgie walked down where the others were. She stood next to Fred as they watched him start.
"He nervous?" Fred asked
"Petrified" Georgie told him
Archie locked eyes with Georgie as he began to sing his song he wrote himself. Everyone cheered and loved it as he was playing which made Archie relax a little more. Once he had finished everyone cheered and hollered for him as he came down off the roof.
•••••••••••
It was Christmas Day and pops got out of hospital yesterday. Georgie woke up in Archie's arms like every morning.
"It's Christmas! Archie wake up!" Georgie started to jump on the bed.
"I swear you're 4!" He groaned
"I can't be if you're marrying me! That my friend would be wrong!" She continued jumping until she rushed off to Allison's room where she jumped on her like every year.
"Uh Georgie every year really!" She groaned.
The household had breakfast together and exchanged presents whilst watching Christmas films snuggled on the sofa.
"Right we gotta get ready if we are gonna make it in time" Archie explained
Everyone made their way to Pops where Georgie, Betty and Veronica planned to have Christmas dinner. Everyone was invited and had to bring some food. They thought it would be a nice thing to do to end the terrible year they had.
Once they got there, everyone was talking and listening to Christmas songs. Once everything was in full swing Georgie snuck off and made her way to the other side of the tracks. She walked into the Wyrm and was greeted by the smell of the food she ordered and all of the serpents tucking in.
"Georgie what are you doing here?" Sweet pea stood up as well as FP
"I just wanted to say merry Christmas and I hope you like your banquet" she smiled
"You did this?" FP asked as Georgie nodded
"You guys have done a lot for me this year and your are my family. Family take care of family" she smiled and made her way back to Pops.
She watched through the window as she saw everyone enjoying themselves laughing and joking together.
Georgie grinned from ear to ear at the sight.

8 149The Shadow in the Sunlight
"The light would never work with the dark. The existence of one brings pain to the other." The world is torn in two between two clashing empires. All who surround them must choose a side. The light, righteous beings of hope trying to destroy the devils that walk the land. The dark, barbaric monsters trying to bring the land into chaos. The answer seems clear, but is it as simple as it seems? Both believe themselves right... Both believe the other is evil... Time is running out. ............................. 8 151The Anvil of Mankind
War, it is said, is the anvil upon which the gods forge mankind. The kingdoms of the north have warred constantly since their inception with little lasting consequence - until now that the balance has decisively shifted, and the kingdom of Stanmark has risen into the ascendancy following a brutal takeover of their immediate neighbor in Waccewald. The weaker kingdom's nobility have submitted, their pride and might in the dust. But even as the conquerors step in to consolidate their victory, many of those who kneel conceal daggers behind their smiles. Deniel is a youth in the hinterlands of Waccewald in the days immediately following Stanmark’s takeover. As a mere commoner, his life hasn’t been overly complicated yet by the change – but as winter sets in, this is about to change. He, like many others, will be forced to make choices, the repercussions of which will echo into all the rest of his life. However long that may turn out to be.
8 132The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice
The elves are a race that pride themselves in the purity of their blood, in their natural beauty and in their mastery of archery. They love nature and hate those that defile it. Finch is nothing like them. He could care less about nature. The most elven thing about him is his ears and boyish face. He grew up enslaved by racist nobles and escaped the first chance he got. Taking odd jobs to make enough to get by, he honed his skill in the sword and became an adventurer. This is about how his first big assignment from the guild might change the kingdom *This is the first fiction I have ever written, please be gentle.* This fiction is now on pause as I rewrite it. I am also working on another story at the moment. I will rework this story and hopefully improve upon it before I re-upload it. Until then my other story will be taking most of my attention. Thank you.
