Today was Archie's birthday. The big 18, Georgie was way more excited than Archie was. She stayed with him at his house last night.
She woke up early and went downstairs to make him breakfast. Georgie made breakfast for her, Archie and his dad. She made all of Archie's favourites, bacon, pancakes, eggs, waffles. Fred was the first one to come down the stairs.
"Wow Georgie you really went all out this year!" He laughed
"Is it too much? It's too much isn't it?" She panicked
"No it's not too much, it all looks perfect, he is very lucky to have someone like you" he kisses the top of her head. They begin to hear Archie moving upstairs calling Georgies name.
Once he came downstairs the two were stood in the kitchen waiting.
"Happy birthday!" They both said together.
"Wow! Georgie you did all this?" Archie asked.
"Hey! Maybe I made all this?" Fred defended.
"Did you?" Archie asked
"No" Fred hangs his head in shame as the other two laugh. Archie makes his way towards his dad to give him a hug.
"Happy birthday son" Fred tapped his back. Archie then moved to Georgie who was stood with her arms out.
"Happy birthday baby" she kissed him and pulled him in for a hug.
"Right! Breakfast then presents" Georgie clapped as the boys sat down to eat. They then heard Jug walking through the door.
"Wow Georgie look at all this food!" Jug said.
"Come on Juggy" she smirked at him.
"Happy birthday Archie!" They has a bro hug and then jug sat down to eat.
Once everyone had finished they all went into the living room for Archie to open his presents. Fred gave Archie a very sentimental gift, an old watch of his that he has had done up and engraved on the back.

"wow dad this is amazing, I'll treasure it forever" they both hugged.
"Ok my turn but we have to go outside" Georgie grabbed his hand and pulled him outside to see a motor bike sat in the driveway.
"Wow!" Jug spoke as Archie just stared.
"It's that bike you like, it needs a little work but I thought it could be yours and your dads last project before you go off to college" Georgie spoke scared that Archie didn't like it.
"If you don't like it I can take it back" she told him.
"No! I love it, I can't believe you remembered!" Archie spoke
"Remembered what?" Fred asked
"A couple of years ago we saw this exact same bike in a shop and I told Georgie that one day we are going to ride away on that bike away from Riverdale together" he spoke as everyone smiled.
He instantly went to hug Georgie and whisper a thank you in her ear.
"I love you" he told her
"I love you too" Georgie smiled
That night everyone was going out for a meal for Archie's birthday. Even Fred and Archie's Mum was meant to show up.
Georgie could see that Archie was nervous for his Mum to show up, scared of what will happen with his mum and dad in the same room for too long.
"Hey it will be ok, if it gets too much we will leave" Georgie held his hand at the table and Archie just nodded.
The night was going really well, everyone laughing and having fun.
"Sorry I'm late! Happy birthday baby boy" Mary walked in.
"Mum you made it" Archie fake smiled as he stood to hug her.
"I know I'm sorry, flight was late" she sat down and gave Archie his presents.

"I'm great Mary how are you" Georgie replies
"I'm great! Fantastic? I met a guy" Mary told everyone as Archie's and Fred's eyes went wide.
"You met someone?" Archie started as Georgie rested her hand on his arm.
"Yeah his name is Paul" Mary smiled
"You're an hour and a half late to my birthday dinner and you tell me you met a guy!" Archie stood up.
"Archie calm down" Georgie stood up and rested her hands on his shoulders.
"No Georgie she's out of order" he walked out of the room. Georgie sighed and followed him.
"Archie!" she ran after him.
"She met someone Georgie! I mean it's not like I want them to get back together! My dads happy! But now she's with someone else" Archie cried out as Georgie pulled him into a hug as he cried.
"I know baby I know, but this is your birthday, with all of your friends and family and your super hot fiancé who bought this dress especially for you to take off later" Georgie smiles making Archie laugh.
"Come one lets go back in and enjoy your birthday" Georgie pulled him in.
Once they got back into the room Georgie grabbed his hand and Archie squeezed it tight as they sat down.
After that the rest of the night ran smoothly, Mary knew not to bring it up again. Instead her and Fred would tell embarrassing stories of Archie and the rest of the gang.
