The next morning Georgie woke up in her sisters bed and Allison was no where to be seen. Georgie rubbed her eyes and looked at her phone to check the time. But instead the first thing she saw was 19 missed calls from Archie, 7 from Veronica, 5 messages from Jug and 3 messages from Betty. She sighed deeply and sat up to go to the bathroom.
"She doesn't want to see you!" She heard Allison whisper shout from downstairs.
Georgie went to sit at the top of the stairs to listen to their conversation
"Listen I have to see her! You don't understand!" Archie pleaded
"I don't know what happened all I know is my sister came home crying last night for 5 hours before she fell asleep!" Allison shouted
"Georgie! Georgie!" Archie shouted pushing past Allison
He stood at the bottom of the stairs and just looked at her. He hadn't slept that was obvious by looking in his eyes.
"Georgie do you want me to kick him out cos I can totally kick his ass if you want!" Allison asked her.
"It's ok Allison!" Georgie whispers and Allison walks into the kitchen.
Archie begins to walk up the stairs.
"Don't!" Georgie wipes the tears from her eyes. Archie stops in his steps
"Look I'm sorry ok! But I needed to be sure it wasn't them I heard-"
"Yeah well you heard wrong! If you would have asked me I could have told you it wasn't!" Georgie replied
"YOU DON'T KNOW!" Archie shouted
"I DO KNOW! If you would have asked in stead of going all crazy and fighting them!" Georgie shouted back
"I was trying to help you!" Archie shouted
"No! You wanted to save the day! Be the hero! You went behind my back and did this! I don't need a hero Archie!" Georgie stood up. Archie started crying.

"And to make it worse you told Veronica you was doing this? Why not me?" Georgie was now flooded with anger.
"I couldn't tell you this!"
"Why not! I could have told you! I figured it out! But you lied to me! How can I trust you?" Tears ran down georgies face.
Archie began to step closer.
"Because I love you!" Archie chocked our
"Do you? Because you lied to my face, went behind my back, told one of my best friends then asked her to lie to me, went and put yourself and the others at risk! All of this could have been saved by you asking me! Simple as that! You put peoples lives at risk and your own!" Tears stream down her face.
"I can't look at you right now you need to leave" Georgie spoke quietly
"George-"
"No I need you to go. I need you to leave. I can't trust you." She began to take off her ring.
"Georgie don't"
"I will take this back when you decide what you want" she handed it back to him
"Go" She turns to walk away
"Georgie this is stupid!" Archie stepped closer
"You we're willing to risk yourself because you couldn't trust me enough to tell me! Get out Archie!" She shouts
"You heard her! Out" Allison shouts from downstairs. Archie turns and leaves.
Georgie breaths heavy and sits on the steps and pulls out her phone.
"Juggy, can you come I need you" She sobs
"I'm on my way" she hears through the phone and gets up to lie on her bed. A few minutes later she hears Juggy come in and sit on the bed.
"Hey it's ok" Georgie turns her head into Juggys
"He lied Juggy he could have gotten hurt and he doesn't even care! What if one of them had a gun! He's so stupid. He told Veronica why Veronica?" Georgie sobbed ah Jughead held her
"I know, I know he's stupid but he did it because he loves you" Jug kisses the top of Georgies head.
"Why me Juggy! Why us!" She sobbed

Campaign: A Project Starfarer Sidestory
This novel’s lore, story and characters are entirely fictitious. Certain long-standing countries, institutions, organizations, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but their histories and the characters involved are wholly imaginary. "What will you do with your freedom?"Growing up in a meritocracy, infamous for being lawless, Jordan Astros had been repeatedly asked this question, since times unmemorable. In a society where one's accomplishments and skills were tallied and ranked in order to determine one's standard of living however, Jordan quickly grew to understand that 'freedom,' was a reward earned by accumulating Merit. And so, after his 17th birthday, Jordan departed his Clan's habitat in orbit of Europa to embark on his century-long journey to rise from E-Ranker to S-Rank. And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI. Set in the backdrop of space. *I do not own the photo used for the cover*
