Katsuki nervously twiddled his thumbs, anxious as always yet this was worse than usual.
Today he wanted to tell his crush.. how much he had loved them. It's been forever, since he met them.. is how long he loved them. Out of school and still loved them..
They don't as much now they are both out of school yet Katsuki still couldn't help but love them.
Even when they spoke about every crush and person they wanted to be with, Katsuki still loved them. He couldn't help it.
Now, he was gonna try after all these years of hiding and being scared to say anything... he finally decided it was now or never.

"Oh hey, bakubabe! How are you?" Mina said happily, the nickname causing Katsuki's cheeks to grow pinker than the pink woman herself.
"G-good!" He smiled sheepishly, nervous at what was supposed to happen next.
Mina smiled, a smile Katsuki had fallen in love with so long ago."Soo! What are we gonna do today? Anything planned?" Mina said with a small wink, giggling at the small explosions that left Katsuki's palms every time she did so.
She has done that she they were in school, she always enjoyed seeing the small explosions leave his palms when doing so.
Katsuki blushed profoundly, "S-sorta.."
Mina lifted an eyebrow with a cheeky smile, "And what is it gonna be? Arcade so I can kick your ass at the games? Or a horror movie to laugh at how scared you get?"
Katsuki blushed one more, yet this time in embarrassment.
Sighing, Katsuki wiped his hands nervously onto his pants and took a deep breath, "W-well.. I wanted to talk to you.. before we did anything then you could pick what we do!"

Mina was about to open her mouth, her shiny eyes and bright smile gave Katsuki so much hope.
Then suddenly her phone went off.
"Oh! Give me a sec Bakubabe! Gotta take this!" Mina said happily as she answered the phone quickly, happy to speak to whomever is on the phone.
Katsuki sighed, so close yet so far.
Curse whoever was on that phone, they ruined a perfect chance.
Katsuki didn't listen much to her conversation, to be kind to her privacy and because he was working up courage to talk to her properly, without becoming a nervous mess.
"Hey! I'm sorry! My boyfriend just called me. I got to go! But how about next time I make it up to you by dinner? You could meet my boyfriend!" Mina yelled happily, love in her eyes every time she mentions her boyfriend.
Katsuki's heart shattered, all her beard was boyfriend... and how she had already had one.
"Oh! T-that's okay... go have fun! Talk to you later!" Katsuki said sweetly, a bright smile hiding his tears.
"I'll text you about that dinner!" Mina yelled and she ran off towards the direction she had came.
Tears welled in his eyes but he held them, he would never ruin his friends' relationship because of a crush. He would be happy for her. He is happy for her.
And even if he wanted to be the one she spoke about, when she had admiration and love in her eyes.. he was okay just being friends. As long as she doesn't forget him... he'll pretend it doesn't hurt.
Anything for her.

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

Eusocial
There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper.
