Katsuki.. a wonder hero he was.. strong and brilliant... he now laid in a pile of rubble... watching the world fade in and out. Saving the children was worth his life.. despite what anyone else thinks.. that's the difference between Katsuki and others..
Katsuki knew he wasn't going to make it.. his left arm trapped boulder.. he couldn't feel it.. the rock was cutting off his circulation.. his other arm was broken.. shards of bone could be seen yet Katsuki did not care.. he did not care that he could not see his legs. Katsuki is okay with dying.. it was worth it.. at least his old hag will be able to brag about her son who lost his life in battle.. a hero.. and his father.. a man who could be respected..
Katsuki sighed, the world fading in and out seemed to have gotten worse, his hearing also fading in and out.. he could somewhat hear rocks.. being moved or thrown.. grinding against each other.. being shoved.. but suddenly he then heard a voice.
A whiny, annoying, pathetic voice.. that he knew so well despite the inconvenience he was in.
He heard that pathetic childhood nickname being called over and over again.
How? Izuku wasn't here during Katsuki's injury? How did he come so quickly? How long has it been? Katsuki felt like he was losing his mind..
The world continued to fade in and out.. getting slower and slower.. his vision going darker and darker.. he could barely breathe anymore.. rocks in his chest preventing him from doing so.
"Kachaan! Kachaan!" Katsuki heard the rock sounds which seemed to be louder.. or maybe they were always loud.. his hearing wasn't good in the first place.
Katsuki closed his eyes shortly.. and when he opened them again the boulder that covered his vision was removed... a worried green haired hero looked at him with worried eyes. Quickly removing as much rubble as possible.

"Kachaan!" Izuku cried, trying to remove as many as possible.
Katsuki just smiled, no matter how many times he had called Izuku stupid.. the green haired boy always stood next to him. Pathetic.
"W-hy are you crying, y-you f-fuckin nerd? Now you c-can be the n-number.. one.. h-hero." Katsuki coughed, laughter erupting from his bruised chest.
"D-don't joke about that Kachaan!" Izuku cried, his eyes wide at the sigh of Katsuki's arm.
Katsuki watched for a moment, his vision seemingly going darker by each second.
"I'm sorry.' Katsuki mumbled ever so softly... an apology well over do.
"Don't." Izuku mumbled, another rock thrown.
"Why isn't anyone helping?!" Izuku screamed, ugly tears falling from his eyes.
Katsuki smiled again, "O-on the bright- s-side.. you no longer have to deal with a s-school yard b-bully."
"Shut up," Izuku muttered through tears. "I was supposed to deal with my own bullies... not some stupid villian..."
Katsuki laughed again, blood slowly leaving his mouth..
Izuku smiled sadly, glad he could make his friend laugh in hard times.
Izuku looked at Katsuki softly, "Don't close your fuckin eyes, asshole."
Katsuki just looked at Izuku, smiling, his crimson shining once more.. before he allowed them to close..
"D-don't tell n-me what to do.. asshole." Katsuki said softly, through breaths of air.. the last bit he was able to get into his chest... the last of it being a small giggle..
Katsuki passed moments later... the small friend rivalry being the last thing he ever said.. he ever thought about.
.
.
.
"Fuckin closed his eyes.." Izuku muttered, looking down at the grave.
Izuku sighed softly, and left a single rose next to the picture.
The two of them as children, Izuku was taller than Katsuki during that time. It was Izuku's favorite picture.. even if Katsuki said he hated it with every bone in his body.. he knew the blonde also enjoyed the picture.. even if he didn't want to admit it.
Izuku smiled sadly, looking down one more time..
"Rest well.. Kachaan."
