Teddy PoV

It was a couple of days later and Georgie was home from the hospital, though he was far from being fully healed at this point, but he was ok, or as ok as you can be after that.

Georgie was asleep on the couch, which I wasn't surprised by at all, since his body was probably still in shock from all of the injuries.

I was cooking dinner, as most parents or parental figures do at one point or another, when the doorbell rang, so I turned everything down low and I answered the door, boy was answering that door a fucking big mistake.

"Hi Mu- what the fuck is he doing here?"

"He's your father Teddy, therefore he has a right to see Georgie-"

"He lost that fucking right when he kicked Georgie out for being gay, I mean for fucks sake Mum, he even shares the same opinion as the dickheads that put Georgie into the fucking hospital in the first place!, for fuck's sake Mum why can't you see that?!"

I wanted to kill my father right there and then, but I also didn't want to go to prison for his murder, as that would a living fucking nightmare, Ro and Soph then walked into the living room to watch Tv, and that was when all hell broke loose.

"Who's kid is blondie?"

"Sophie is my boyfriend's daughter"

"You're a f***** too then?"

"So that's what you came here for?, to throw around derogatory terms at Georgie-"

"Yeah to straighten him out-"

"Well I'm sorry to break it to you but you don't do that in my home!"

"They deserve to know what they're living with Theodore!"

"Sophie!, Rowan!, please go to your room and lock the door, you're not in trouble, but it's not safe for stay in the living room, bring Mikey with you"

Soph and Ro went to their room, bringing Mikey with them, as I had a feeling that shit was about to go down between my father and I, which I did not want them to witness.

"You can't hide them from the truth!"

"No, I'm not hiding them from the truth, because you and I both know that's not how us Addams do shit, no, you see, I'm just hiding them from a fucking mad man instead"

"Mad man am I?"

"Isn't that obvious?"

"I'll show you how much of a fucking mad man I am then"

He started to throw punches at me, I dodged most of them but I did get hit on my eye, but he didn't get to Georgie so it was fine, after 20 minutes of trying to get him out of my flat, he finally left after I slammed the door in both of their faces and locked it just in case they attempted to come back.

Jack came home 10 minutes after that, and he saw the evidence of my father punching me, and he started to use frozen peas as an ice pack for my eye.

"What happened?"

"A 20 minute defend myself session against my father"

"Why did he do that to you Honey?"

"Same reason he kicked Georgie out"

"How di-"

"He asked about Sophie"

"Oh no I'm-"

"No!, please don't apologise Babe, you didn't start throwing around degrading insults around a child"

"It looks like he tried to beat you up"

"Yeah well it's better me that he beats up rather than anyone else here, I don't think I could forgive myself if anyone else got hurt because of... him"

"Oh Honey, come here"

So I started sobbing into Jack arms, because I couldn't hold my shit together any longer, also I felt safe in his arms.

"Where are the kids?"

"They're all in the girls room, I, I told them to lock the door"

"And you say you're not Superman"

"Superman isn't scared of his own Dad for fucks sake"

"You still need to keep the peas on the bruising Teddy"

"They're not going to edible"

"That's not the point Teddy"

"It kinda is, we brought them to ea-"

"Ok so if it was the other way round, would you even care about the peas?"

"Of course not"

"Then shut up and keep them on your eye, because I won't let you act like a neanderthal when it comes to your injuries and wellbeing-"

"Hey, the burns that are on my hand were a one time thing"

"That's not what I heard from your Aunt Rebecca"

"Ok ok ok you got me there, but-"

"I know Handsome, I get it, I do, but that doesn't make it ok"

"I know"

So then we got the kids out of the girls bedroom, as they didn't need to hide from a swinging fist anymore.

"Daddy, is your eye ok?"

"It will be Bambino"
