Teddy PoV

A couple of weeks had gone by, and now it was April, which meant that we were bound to get a shit ton of rain, because April is the rain season in the UK.

Ro was sitting on the windowsill in the kitchenette, since she was looking at how heavy the fucking rain was outside, because rain was literally her favourite weather condition, (still is actually).

"Daddy"

"Yes Rowan Sweetheart"

"Can we go to the park today?"

"No Baby, we can't go to the park today"

"Why not?"

"(Sighs), because it's chucking it down, and you're sniffling so going out in the rain would actually make you ill Tesoro, and I wouldn't want you to get sick"

"I won't get sick if I wear my rain coat Daddy"

"(Sighs), Baby, you would still be soaked in seconds, so my answer is still no"

"But why not Daddy?, there would be nobody else outside"

It was times like this that I wished that Ro didn't inherit the Addams stubbornness from me, because it made my job so much harder to try and tell her that she couldn't go out in that horrendous rain.

"Rowan Sweetheart, as much as I would like to take you to the park today, you are very close to having a full blown cold, so it would be extremely irresponsible of me as your father to take you out in the rain when you're like this"

"But I want to go out in the rain"

"Why do you want to go out in the rain?"

"Because I want to dance in it Daddy"

I thought that Ro was joking at first but then I saw the most adorably serious look on her face that I had ever seen on her and honestly that worried me a little bit, I'm not gonna lie.

"Baby, I'm going to ask you a question, and it's ok if you don't know the answer to it, but uh, why do you want to dance in the rain so much?"

"It seems like fun, you know like in the movie Singing in the rain, because you get to twirl and jump around in the rain, also I like the idea of twirling the umbrella around"

"The actor had ammonia from filming that scene all day long Sweetheart"

"I wouldn't want to go out all day Daddy, don't be so silly, I'd only want to go out in the rain for a little bit Daddy"

I really didn't want to go out in the bloody rain, nor could I be bothered to go out in the bloody rain, for a few reasons, like I didn't want Ro to be sick, and I didn't want her or me to have wet hair, so I did something that I thought was logical.

"Maybe another time Ro"

"But-"

"Please don't argue with me about it Ro"

"Ok"

It was then that I realised that I had jinxed it, that I had jinxed the fact that Ro was going to get sick, because apparently I have a big mouth, and that was all I could think about while reading some of the bills that came in the post, that was until Ro sneezed.

"Bless you Sweetheart"

"Thank you"

"So, do you see what I mean Bambina?"

"Yeah, (sniffles), you were right Daddy, (sniffles), can I have a cuddle please?"

"Of course Fiore"

So I went over to the windowsill, lifted Ro up so that I could sit on the windowsill, then sat Ro on my lap with my arms wrapped around her so that we could watch the rain together.

"Daddy"

"Yes Bambina"

"Who do I look like?"

"What do you mean by that Buba?"

"Like which side of the family do I even look like Daddy?"

Well Ro asking me that question kind of threw me a little bit if I'm going to be honest here, but I tried to answer the question the best way that I could have done.

"Well Sweetheart, if I had to say that you looked like anyone in any side of the family, it would actually be Nana when she was a little girl"

"Wait I look like Nana?"

"Yeah you do"

"Do we have any photos of Nana when she was a little girl?"

"We do have photos of Nana as a little girl, but there's not a lot since she was born in the 50's and they didn't take a lot of photos then as cameras were a bit more awkward to operate"

We went back to watching the rain out of the window, and even though I knew that the rain was Ro's favourite weather, it was fascinated me how engrossed she got watching the rain fall against the window.
