4 mouths later...

It was going back to school season, which meant that my kids were a whole school year older than they were before and I being the mother hen that I was, I was sad about that, I always felt old as fuck at this time of the year, as most parents do.

I dropped Ro and Mikey off at school, and I actually bumped into Jack, which I wasn't expecting to, so it was a pleasant surprise.

"Hey Ted, how have things been?"

"It's been good, you?"

"Yeah, it's been good, do you want to catch a pint later?"

"Yeah, what time?"

"Would 7 be ok?"

"Yeah, 7 is perfect"

So we went our separate ways, me getting on the train home and Jack walking home.

I got home and Georgie was actually awake, which doesn't happen often if he didn't have to get up for school, well college at that stage in his life, so obviously I was kind of puzzled as to why he was up at that time.

"Hey Georgie boy, not that I don't appreciate your company or anything like that but why the fuck are you up?"

"Because our next door neighbours decided to continue last nights action"

"(Laughs), aw, you poor baby"

"Oh piss off Teddy, anyway, what's got you in such high spirits anyway?"

"I can't just be happy Georgie boy?, I'm fucking insulted"

"Well if it wasn't fucking September then I wouldn't even be fucking questioning it Teddy, because you do try to be a happy chappy most of the time, but not only is it fucking September, it's Mikey and Ro's first day back at bloody school, so normally you mope around and feel sad about getting old even though you're only Twenty fucking one"

"Ok ok ok, shut up shut up shut up, you have a point on me there Georgie boy, alright, I'm going out at 7 O'clock"

"Since when?"

"Since I dropped Mikey and Ro at school this morning, duh, keep up with the gossip kiddiwink"

Georgie proceeds to roll his eyeballs because he's an Addams and shit, and that means that he's a sassy little shit and stubborn person.

"You know Teddy, only you can get a date at the school gates ya git"

"Look it's not a date Georgie boy, and even if it was a date mister, I was asked"

"Really?"

"Yes Georgie, really"

"But by who?"

"I was asked by Jack"

"As in man crush Jack?"

"Yes, well duh, no shit, that much should be obvious as I wouldn't have said yes if it wasn't him Georgie boy"

"Aw, Teddy's in love"

"Ah shit"

"What are you 'Ah shitting' about?"

"Who will look after Ro and Mikey?"

"I will you numskull, and no, I don't want payment, so don't you fucking dare even think about it"

"Ok Dad"

"Oi, don't steal my line Teddy"

"Oh, it's your line to say, sorry I didn't know that only you can say Dad like the sarcastic fucker you are"

"I'll trade mark it Daddyo"

"(Snorts), but Georgie boy, you have the money to do that Kiddo"

"Fuck you and your smart arsey, don't remind me that I'm broke Daddyo"

"Nah Georgie boy, you're fucking skint, because broke people still have a little tinsy bit of money"

"You complete and utter Smart arse"

"Well you had to get it from somewhere Figlio itiota"

"Oi Teddy, I'm not an idiot boy"

"(Snorts), sure you're not kiddiwink"

I then went to make myself a cup of coffee, because as we all know by now, I'm fucking addicted to coffee, even if it's not that great for me to be addicted to coffee, I was also nice to Georgie and made him a cup of tea.

"Here you go Sleepyhead"

"Aw thank you Daddyo"

"You're welcome"

"So Teddy, what are you and Jack going to do on this date not date?"

"(Snorts), I don't know Georgie boy, I just know that we're starting at the pub with a pint together"

"Wear protection-"

"Georgie!, I don't particularly want to talk about that with you"

Georgie just fucking laughed at what I said, I don't know why, but I brushed it off.

"Anyway you little shit, have you eaten this morning?"

"No I haven't"

"Of course you haven't"

"I'm not hungry right now though Teddy"

"What do you want for breakfast?"

"A bacon sandwich would be nice"

"Ok"

So I went to the kitchenette and us both breakfast, since I knew that I couldn't not have breakfast if I were going to get Georgie to actually have it.

"Here's your breakfast Kiddo"

"Thank you, but you didn't have-"

"Would you have eaten this morning if I didn't make you it?"

"I, uh, well maybe not"

"I thought so"
