Teddy PoV

It was New Year's Eve, which meant that I was intending to drink a lot, as I had planned on drinking with a couple of my friends from school that I liked to mingle with from time to time that night, because why the fuck not, I knew that Georgie could look after Ro for a couple of hours, but a couple of hours before I was due to go out, I got a knock on my front door from child services, which had me on edge, for obvious reasons.

"Hello, how can I help you?"

"Hello, is this Theodore Addams home?"

"Yeah, this is my home"

"So are you Theodore Addams then?"

"Yes, I'm Theodore Addams"

"Right, so Mr Addams, I'm from child services, I need to speak with you?"

"Do you want to come in?"

"That would be nice thank you"

So I let the child services lady into the flat, because I didn't want the entirety of my floor knowing my business with child services, my heart was pounding against my chest like a drum, because I was terrified of losing my child.

"I hope that I'm not coming off too abrupt or anything, but I would like to know why child services need to talk to me?"

"I understand Mr Addams, you have a son that needs a home"

"I have a son?"

I was just so fucking shocked that I had another kid, (but looking back on it, I really shouldn't have been that shocked, I mean with the amount of people I actually had one night stands at one point in time was insane, it bound to happen to me), but I knew that if child services were coming to my dingy little flat in a kinda dogey area with the crime rate being ginormous then something had to have happened to his mum, because that's how that shit worked back then... ok, thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

"Yes you have a son Mr Addams, does the name Angel Ferris ring any bells to you?"

"Yeah, yeah the name does ring a bell with me, I last saw her like 3, maybe 4 years ago, what happened to her?"

"Well she died this morning Mr Addams, you're on his birth certificate as the child's father, she also had it in her will that you were to look after him if she died"

"His name would be helpful, I can't do anything for him without his name"

"His name is Michael Ferris-Addams"

"How old is he exactly?"

"He is 3 years old since June 30th"

"Ok, so is there any paperwork that I have to sign for him?"

"Yes, there's some paperwork for you to sign for guardianship for Michael Mr Addams"

"Ok, cool, uh, when will he be arriving here?"

"Is a couple of hours time good for you Mr Addams?"

"Yes, in a of couple hours time is good for me"

"Ok"

So then that conversation had ended and the child's services lady left, I knew that I had to tell Georgie and Ro the news, which I was kind of dreading in a way.

"Ro!, Georgie!"

"Yes Daddy"

"Do you know where Uncle Georgie is Sweetheart?"

"No I don't know where Uncle Georgie is Daddy"

"Ok Baby, thank you anyway, Georgie!"

Georgie then came running into the living room from his bedroom, (which was very unusual for him as he hated any kind of running normally), and then he sat down on the couch trying to catch his breath again.

"I'm here Teddy"

"Ok, I got news that I need to share with you both, Ro, you know how you've been wanting a sibling for a while"

"Yeah"

"Well, you have a little brother and he's coming to live with us"

"How?"

"(Sighs), it's complicated Baby"

"What's his name?"

"Michael"

"How long have you known about him Teddy?"

"All of about 2 minutes Georgie boy"

Georgie was shocked, I wasn't surprised by that, because he wasn't aware of my sleeping around, (as he was a young enough child when I did most of it), though I would've thought that Ro would be shocked too, but she was not shocked, surprised, sure but not shocked.

"Daddy"

"Yeah Baby"

"Did something happen to his Mum?"

"Yeah but I'm not sure exactly what happened"

"Will he be sad?"

"Yeah Bambina, he will be sad"

"Do you think that him cuddles will help him feel less sad?"

"It might help Baby"

I didn't know how else to answer Ro's question, not entirely sure if it was because I actually couldn't think of anything else or because I was tired and therefore my brain didn't want to co-operate, either way, that was the best answer that I could come up actually with.
