It was a couple of days before Ro turned 6, and I was starting to feel old, I mean fuck it, I still remember her being 2 years old and her being fascinated by my school tie, so moral of the story is that parenting makes you feel old kids.

Apparently Georgie was not having me moping around though, because apparently it threw the whole equation off so fuck me having feelings and shit about my life.

"What's wrong Teddy?"

"I feel old Georgie"

"Why's that Daddyo?"

"Because in a couple days time my little girl is going to be 6 years old, that's why I feel old Georgie"

"I don't want to seem inconsiderate Teddy but what's the significance of her being 6?"

"That's a third of her childhood dumb arse"

I didn't feel comfortable hearing that about Jade, not because I'm weird or anything but because she's like a sister, so it's like hearing about somebody wanting to nasty shit to your sister, which grosses you the fuck out.

"She might be feeling the same thing about it too though Teddy"

"I actually think Jade feels worse about it than me, if that's even possible"

"I think most parents feel old at some point when their child is growing up"

I started laughing, because Georgie was fucking hilarious, and so was his reactions, or I found them hilarious because I was sleep deprived, so I wouldn't be surprised if the latter one was the case rather than the former one.

"What the fuck are you on Georgie Boy?"

"She's in bed asleep, I'm pretty sure she's a heavy sleeper"

Georgie, being the little shit that he is, decided to pretend that he was winding up a Jack in a box while slowly bringing up his middle finger.

"I would prefer if you let me wallow in my feelings of pity for being old in peace"

"Because that means that you'll eventually drown in them and we don't want that"

So I picked Georgie up into my arms, because I was a soft pot or something, or so I had become according to everyone around me.

"I know that Georgie, it's the Addams genes"

"How do you know it's not Nana's side?"

"(Snorts), because all of Nana's side are round and not boney"

"There's photos of these people at Nana's house"

"She has photos?"

"Yes Georgie, she has photos"

"I thought that because of the whole 'she ran away from her home in Italy to marry an older Irish boy in England' thing that she wouldn't have any photos"

"Her older sister also ran away to London Georgie, and she took photos with her"
