Teddy PoV

I was looking at flats to buy, because while I loved Nana to bits, trust me Nana was my favourite person growing up, but I couldn't live with her forever because I'd feel bad for invading her home, no matter how many times she had said otherwise.

Ro then ran into the living room and sat on my lap, as a child does, you know.

"Daddy, are we seeing Auntie Jade, Chloe, Uncle Jack and Sophie today?"

"What day is it today Sweetheart?"

"Today is Saturday Daddy"

"Shit!, I forgot it was Saturday!"

"Daddy, you said a bad word!"

"I can say it because I'm an adult, right grab your shoes while Daddy gets dressed Sweetheart, ok?"

"Ok Daddy"

So I ran up the stairs, got dressed, ran back down the stairs, and then I helped Ro put her shoes on so we could be on our way, because Saturday's are when we go to have a break from our home life, though it was started when I was living with my Mum, because I wouldn't ever want to a break from Nana's.

We were on the train, because as Londoners we naturally had Oyster cards, and they were lots people on the train since it was peak time on a Saturday afternoon, so we didn't have seats on the tube, as per fucking usual.

"Daddy"

"Yeah Baby"

"Why do people look at you funny when I call you Daddy?"

My heart dropped to my stomach, I mean Ro was only 4, 4 years old!, and she had already noticed the looks of judgment from people who made assumptions about me, that was the one thing I never wanted to happen with Ro, and it happened, so I lifted her and engulfed her into a hug, because otherwise I would've cried, which I don't like doing in public, for obvious reasons.

"Rowan Sweetheart, it's because most people think that Daddy's too young to be a good Daddy to you"

"But you're the bestest Daddy ever"

"You think so Bambina?"

"I know so Daddy"

"Aw Baby, you're too kind, and you know what"

"What?"

"You are the best thing that has ever happen to me Sweetheart"

"How?, I didn't think that people could even be that!"

"(Snorts), I used to think that too Baby"

"What happened to change your mind Daddy?"

"Well, Sweetheart, I became a Daddy and as soon as you looked at me with your big beautiful blue eyes, you had me wrapped around your little finger, and I wouldn't have it any other way"

Ro looked up at me with her baby blues, her head resting upon my shoulder, my fingers started to gently brush through her curls.

We got to where we were going eventually, which was the local softplay area, anyway, the girls were playing in the softplay, as kids have a want to do, Jack, Jade and I were at a table by the softplay, because honestly we didn't fit in it.

"Handsome, you ok?"

"Yeah Chelsea, I'm fine"

"Theodore"

"What Jadey girl?"

"You're a shit liar"

"Do you really wanna know?"

"Of course we wanna know, we're your friends therefore we want you to spill the beans, anyway we wouldn't have asked you otherwise Teddy"

So, I took a deep breath in, because I was panicky, and I shared my feelings.

"You know how sometimes there's a stranger that gives you a judgemental look when your child calls you Mum or Dad?"

"Shit, where is this going Handsome?"

"Well, Ro noticed it today"

"Oh Teddy, that must've felt like shit"

"That's probably why he's feeling down Jade"

"Oh fuck off Posh boy"

I snorted the fucking blue and red slushy out my nose, because 'Posh boy' just sounded absurd coming out of Jade's mouth.

"Jesus Christ, don't make me do this shit again, that hurt my fucking nose"

"That's actually gross Handsome"

"This is just a 101 on what not to do with your kids"

"Of course it is Jadey girl, how weird does my nose look now?"

"Honestly you will need a tissue Handsome"

"Do you have one Green eyes?"

"Yes I do, here you go"

"Thank you Green eyes"

So I used the tissue to clean the slushy from my nose, which was weirdly sticky, the girls then came over to where we were sitting and Ro sat on my lap.

"Daddy"

"Yes Baby"

"Why is your nose blue?"

"It's from the slushy"

"Did you drink it from your nose?"

"(Snorts), no Bambina, I didn't drink it from my nose"

"Then how did it happen Daddy?"

"I drank some and then I laughed so hard it came out of my nose"

"That's gross"

"You're telling me, it came out my nose"

"Did it hurt?"

"It did Baby"

"Oh no, do you want me to kiss it better?"

"No Sweetheart, I'll be ok"

"You sure Daddy?"

"Yeah Baby, I'm sure, thank you anyway"
