《Here comes Teddy》Biology with Mr Higgins (Two)

It was the next day, I was tired from being a teenaged Dad of the an insomniac toddler, I was walking to my biology lesson with Mr Higgins, who was my favourite teacher, so I was in a pretty decent mood considering that it was school, Britney, who was kinda my friends with benefits but without the friends thing, came running up to me.

"Ooh Teddy!, just the the man I wanted to see"

"(Clears throat), why would that be?"

"I need to speak to you about something, it's pretty important"

"How can I help you Britney?"

"I want to talk to you about our relationship"

"Uh, ok... what about it?"

"Are we in a serious relationship?"

"(Laughs), oh wait shit, fuck, you're serious, ah... well, let me think about it for a second, uh fuck no, I don't do serious relationships, I told you this before we ever got together, I'm just looking for a good time"

"But I love you Teddy"

I rolled my fucking eyes at that comment, because shit, I had told her that I wasn't a serious relationship kinda guy, even before she got into my fucking pants I told her that, because I liked being upfront about what my fucking intentions were, but no, she didn't listen because apparently she wanted to be the one to change that, or some romantic bullshit like that, 'cause fuck me, (though honestly, fuck turning the bad boy into a good boy story trope, 'cause it gives young people the wrong impression, ya know).

"No, no, no, you see Britney, you don't love me Sweetheart, I think, well, let's see, I think from my own personal experience as a teenager who so happens to be a Dad, that you like the idea of having a boyfriend that your Daddy doesn't approve of, and I, Teddy 'the heartbreaking teenage Dad' Addams, fit that mould fucking perfectly, almost to a t"

"That's not true!"

"Oh but honey, honey, trust me on this one, it is so bloody true, even if you don't know it yet, but the thing is, I am not meeting the parents friendly, like at all, me being a Dad myself can honestly tell you that if my daughter brought someone like myself home and said that he was a full time boyfriend, I would be pissed, no scratch that, I would be so royally fucking pissed that the fucker would eventually see stars and be dickless, so what I suggest that you do is go find someone that Daddy actually likes, because you deserve someone that wants a serious relationship, and I can't give you that"

At this point I walked away, A) because I had no actual interest in taking to her, shocker I know, B) I didn't want to be late to a class I actually liked, and C) She whined more than Ro, and Ro was only 2 years old at the time.

I grabbed a seat at the back of Mr Higgins class, so that I could see the board better and have a slightly bigger seat, at least they were the reasons that I told myself.

Couple hours later and I had just finished a double lesson of biology, and just before I went to go home, I wanted to talk to Mr Higgins, because I'm not entirely fucking illiterate.

"Sir"

"Yes Mr Addams"

"I was taking notes for this lesson to remember for GCSE exams, I was wondering if I had formatted it correctly?"

"From what I can see it's pretty solid Mr Addams"

"Thank you Mr Higgins"

"You're welcome"

So I walked out of the class and headed towards the front entrance, because that's what most people do at the end of a stressful school day.

And like most days, Mum, Mollie and Ro were waiting for Georgie and I, so I walked to Ro and picked her up.

"Dada!"

"Hi Baby, how are you today?"

"I 'Appy Dada"

"I'm glad to hear that Baby, who's my happy girl?"

"Me"

"That's right Ro, you're so clever Sweetheart"

We started walking towards the train station, I was feeling content with how my life was, that was until Mollie started screaming her fucking head off.

"Just try to ignore her Teddy, that's what her teacher suggested we do"

"Since when have you ever taken advice from the fucking teachers Mum?"

"Since Mollie's tantrums have gotten worse and worse"

"I'm going to lose it if you don't do something about it Mum"

"Don't"

"Mollie what the fuck is your problem?!"

"I want to be carried!"

"Ask Mum then"

"But she said no!"

"Well then you have your answer Mollie"

"Why don't you carry me?!"

"Because I'm carrying Rowan and you know that Mollie"

"It's not fair"

"Mollie, life's not fair, because if life was fair then Katie would still be here"
