Tyler-
Cheating wasn't something I planned to do. I look over at my collapsed mate.
Then over at Cleo's lifeless body.
I run my hands through my hair. This wasn't supposed to happen.
When it started, it was pure jealousy...
"Do you need anything else, Alpha?" She rings, her voice like a sweet melody. She stands in front of my dark wooden desk, her big brown eyes pouring into my soul.
"No, Cleo, that'll be all." I wave her off as I look back down at the map in front of me. I must make sure all of the borders are secure and protected. Once the base is secure, I will send out my best trackers to find and bring back my mate, my Alex.
Suddenly my chest fills with pain. It explodes, sending terrible trembling shocks through my body. Something isn't right with Alex. The fire waves up my body to my face. I stand up from my chair and stumble by my desk.
"Tyler?" I hear Cleo knock on the door. "Are you alright?"
My head spins and a tear falls from my red eyes. The fire resides on my lips now. This is where her sin was committed. Fear builds up inside me as I imagine my mate's lips over that hideous vampire. Does she love him? Rage bubbles now inside the pit of my stomach. I growl loudly and shove a few books, sending them flying off the shelf and crashing to the floor. Because of him our bond is now growing weak. Suddenly a cold hand is placed on my back, extinguishing some of the fiery pain. I look up and see Cleo kneeling near me with concerned eyes.

"Are you okay?" Her hand rubs my back softly in a comforting manner.
"I-I'm fine." I shift to face her more. We sit on the floor in my office.
"What happened?" She asks tenderly as she brushes a piece of my hair from my eyes. My eyes are on the floor as I try to think of how to explain this.
"My mate, she has just kissed another male. The bond has just painfully alerted me of this.." I breathe out, my eyes finally meeting hers. Her expression changes and I see sorrow in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry.." She moves her hand to rest on my cheek in a loving way. No, this is wrong.
I immediately stand and leave the room, closing the door loudly. I storm through the halls until I reach the kitchen. My dad hands find their way to the top cabinet, tanking the doors open and sliding around a smooth glass bottle filled with the cure for my pain. The bottle is dragged with me as I make my way back to my room where I spend the next few hours drowning myself in alcohol.
**
"Sir?" I hear her voice and I look up from where I'm sitting in the hallway, the empty bottle of liquor is in my hand. I pull my heavy head up to meet her concerned gaze.
"Are-are you okay?" She asks as she watches me from down the hall.
"Come here Cleo." I command. She carefully walks my way, stopping a few feet away. "Does it look like I'm okay to you?" I growl at her. She jumps at the noise that erupted from my throat, confirming her fear of me.
She lowers her head not knowing what to do next. She looks similar to my mate... A tear threatens to spill from my eye as my mind reflects back to Alex. How could she chose him over me..... a vampire.

Next thing I know I am up on my feet, pushing Cleo into the wall. The alcohol has taken control. My lips press roughly against hers. She kisses back passionately and wraps her arms around me. I hike her up and drag her off to my room. Thunder claps outside as sins are committed.
~~~
A drunken mistake. Something that was supposed to be temporary. But then as I got to know Cleo, I just didn't stop seeing her.
Sneaking off in the middle of the night when Alex was fast asleep, that wasn't right.
I did what I did and then she had to pay for it.
All I felt was sorrow. Sorrow for Cleo, sorrow for the pain I had caused to Alex.
My own mate.
Sorrow for what was to happen next.
Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
Forgotten Dungeon
Death comes quickly and without warning. Even for such little personage as him. It's quite hard to start as a dungeon core. Quite harder when divine bureaucracy simply dumps you in the a** end of nowhere because of their incompetence and because of your agent status as a Fallen Angel. Yet Uno (temporary name) is used to working with subpar materials and making the best of circumstances. It doesn't help that his personality was cut down to size, but he tries to overcome the system with ingenuity and a healthy dose of duct tape. Or the local equivalent of such. *** An audiobook of the Forgotten Dungeon story has been made by Agro Squerrils and is available on YouTube, under this link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcfzFNUhrNS3Z7DfjN5pMWn-CI1uKg3s2 He has my permission and full support for doing so, so don't be shy and check it out! *** Hello people! It's a story about a dungeon. Or maybe the dungeon? Who knows. Dumped in a hostile world, working hard to overcome circumstances. There is an RPG system in place, but I'll try to make it not number-heavy. I would be more focused on skills - at least from the perspective of the sentient races. Dungeons will have their own little playground. I'll try to make MC not overpowered - it always irks me how the stories tend to go from zero to hero in a few minutes. I hope y'all will enjoy the ride! *** Also, a Discord server has been made recently: https://discord.gg/sK2pam3 Join and share your opinions, if interested! :)
