(Guys please send me song suggestions!! I'm running out of good music) (I made a pun in this and I'm crying😂 omg haha I'm terrible! Ok enjoy!)
Alex-
"Alex!" A muffled shout echoes through the darkness. Confusion settles in as I realize I cannot move. "I-I don't know, she just collapsed!" The voice gets louder. I look around but all I see is black. Nothingness surrounds my vision as I lay helplessly.
A blinding light pierces my eyes from above me. The light shines brighter as I am being dragged towards it. The white light surrounds me and slowly dims back into reality. Screams surround me and gunshots can be heard. My first thought is that we're in the middle of a war. My eyes focus on the figure in front of me looking down at me concerned.
"Alex? Can you hear me?" Tyler strokes my cheek with his thumb. I look past him and see Russell standing strongly as if he were guarding us. He examines the area around us in search of something.
I remember hearing the dreaded voice in my head. The voice I had convinced myself to hate. The voice of the vampire that ruined my life then dumped me back here with nothing. Over the past two weeks I had convinced myself to feel nothing for him. And I don't.
But something felt off. I sat up abruptly, looking around at the worried crowd of wolves racing around like children. Whoever caused the panic was no longer here.
"I'm fine." I stood up on the stage and managed to keep my balance. I looked at the panicked crowd. People held guns as their eyes looked bloodshot from the violence. A few wolves lay cold and dead on the ground with blood oozing out of a gunshot wound. "What is happening?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"I don't know." Tyler replied seriously as he stared into the mass of people. "EVERYBODY STOP MOVING!" Tyler roared towards the crowd. They ceased all movement and turned into statues as they turned towards their angry leader.
Silence fell over all of the people as they stared at Tyler.
"I'm going to need all of the wounded to be taken to the healer. Everyone else report to the pack house immediately." He barked.
"Alpha! What's happening?" A random guy shouted from the crowd.
"Vampires." Tyler answered before turning around and walking off with me following on his trail.

We walked to the pack house silently and neither of us spoke a word until we had reached his bedroom and he shed his emotionless appearance. He closed his door and immediately turned back to me.
"I thought something terrible had happened to you." He exclaimed as he pulled me into his chest. I took a deep breath as I remembered the recent events. Do I tell him that I heard Liam?
We stood there for a few moments, thinking to ourselves while deeply embracing each other. He was comforting me without even saying a word. Just his presence was calming. My mind wandered back to the ceremony. I never became part of the pack... All of those people aren't my pack yet... The crowd seemed so happy that I was able to join them... Even Russell seemed happy for me. Russell isn't part of this pack... Russell!
"RUSSELL!" I exclaimed as I broke the cloud of silence that was covering Tyler and I like a blanket.
"Russell?" Tyler questioned.
I scrambled out of his warm hug and down the hall. I needed to find Addison!
"Addison!!!" I screamed through the halls as I raced down the stairs. The bottom floor of the enormous pack house was now filling with Tyler's wolves. I scanned the crowd of people for my best friend, only to see she isn't in here.
I push past the people and out the door into the evening air. I begin to jog, dodging people and searching for Addi. Just as I brush past someone, they give me a rude grunt. I yell a sorry back their way as I continue to jog. Turning back to face forwards, I slam into a familiar body.
I ricochet off of the body and towards the cold dirt but my trip is cut short by strong arms saving me from eating the dirt. I am pulled back to a standing position and my eyes spin for a minute before finding the man in front of me.
"Russell." I say breathlessly as I stare at the man in front of me.
He smiles warmly at me. "Hi Alex. Sorry about the ceremony..." he scratches his head. "I had no clue that they were going to attack."
My brows knotted together. "They?"
"The vampires." Russell said. His eyes raced to the snowy ground in shame. "They told me they would drop me at the first pack we found."

"Russell.. it's okay."
"No it's not. People have died today. Just because those vampires felt like messing with the wolves." He argued as he finally let his sad eyes meet mine.
"Wait. Was Liam with them?" I blurted in curiosity. I quickly regretted my words but they just slipped from my mouth without my brains consent.
"No... why?" Russell gave me a questioning look.
Should I tell him about Liam? What if I just imagined it? I did collapse directly after.
"Just wondering." If was my turn to scratch my neck nervously. "What happened to you?" I asked out of pure curiosity. I had just heard Addison's story up until Russell was taken.
An emotion covered his face, taking over his soul for a silent second before returning a very grim version of himself back to reality. "Alex. There is something I have to tell you..." Tears came to his eyes as he choked on a memory.
I took his hands in mine to comfort him. "What is it?" I shifted my eyes back and forth between his. What happened to him that was so terrible?
"Addison. S-she didn't make it. I-I tried to protect her but she just--" tears painted his skin in water as he held back sobs. I almost cried too from his sadness.
"Russell." I gave him a warm smile causing him to look at me utterly confused. "Addison isn't dead, Russell. She made I-" I began but was cut off by a sweet voice.
"R-Russell?" I heard Addison's wavering voice from behind him. I looked over his shoulder and saw Addi standing firmly as she looked at the man in front of her.
He whipped around at the sound of her voice. She ran to him and they indulged in each other's embrace as she broke into sobs.
"I though you were dead!" They exclaimed simultaneously. They then broke into a nervous happy laughter. They were adorable to watch. I smiled at their exchange.
"What happened... after you were taken?" Addison asked as she released him from her hug but held his hand.
"I was taken by a guy named Kai... He's some psychopath who wanted revenge for something that happened in our past." My eyes widened at the mention of Kai. I remember all of the things he had threatened to do. He was the reason Liam left.
"We know who Kai is." I gritted through my teeth.
"Yeah, he is trying to get back at his brother-Liam and he told me he wanted to kill Liam and take you." He informed me. No shock hit me as I was aware of this unnerving news. I had known this for a few weeks.
"But wait," Addi interrupted my train of thought as she gently tugged on Russell's arm. "How did you escape?" Her curious eyes scanned his face.
"The vampires. They found me unconscious in the room where Kai tortured me. They said that they wouldn't kill me." He explained. This confused me. Why would vampires let him go like that?
Could all of this be tied to Liam? Was he here now? I don't want to see him. What would I do if I did see him? Thoughts race through my mind like horses on a track. Addison and Russell keep talking, totally focused on each other as I burrow deeper into thought.
I can go into my own little world when I'm in thought. I sink deeper into my own mind as my thoughts and worries surround me. Many possibilities play out, every single one ending badly.
So many thoughts, Little Wolf.
The chilling voice entered my head again, shattering my state of mind. Everything around my mind seemed to turn bloody red in fear. Tingles went through my body at the sound of his velvety voice. I am like a river, dry for weeks until I hear his voice and it's like a faucet was just turned on to drip onto the dry beds. I didn't like this.
"Get out of my head! You're not real!!!" I screamed as loudly as I could as I returned to reality, gripping the sides of my head and squeezing my brain as if I could throw him out. Addison and Russell are at my side in an instant with worried looks on their perfect faces.
"Alex what's wrong?" Addi scans my face as she grabs my hand for support. My breathing is ragged as I try to regain my thoughts.
See you soon, Love
My face turns pale as those last words echo through my brain. I feel him leave my head as I stare at Addi with a fearful look on my face.
