After that date with Tyler, everything seemed magical around me. The pack loved me and I was working to get to know some of the members. It had been about a week and a half since Liam left me here. I was upset that he left... At first. Then Tyler was there. Tyler has always been there. My feelings for Liam seemed to fade further and further every time I was with Tyler and I didn't even care. What really worried me, was when he would return for me...
I pushed all of my fears and feelings for Liam deep down where I couldn't access them. I didn't need that kind of stress right now. I stepped out of the steamy shower and dressed myself quickly in a simple long sleeved shirt and leggings. I then made my way down the hall to Tyler's office where I knew he was sitting at his desk ruffling his perfect hair while he stared at paperwork. I took a small peak through the crack of his office door and smiled as I saw him exactly as I had imagined.
There he sat, beautiful as ever, messing up his hair as he gently chewed on the end of his ink pen. He sat in front of a large stack of papers that he studied with a very focused expression. I decided not to enter the room and disturb him, instead I continued down the hall to my place of worship: The kitchen.
Ah the kitchen, home to many foods to indulge in. My personal favorite was the dark chocolate chips hiding in a high cabinet above the stove. It was a long, hard journey to get to those delicious chocolatey chips, but it was worth the risk. I was small and short, so to get to my treat, I had to climb on the counters and stove and then stand up. I had done this task quite a few times and my once full bag of chocolate chips was now only a quarter filled. I stood on the counter and grabbed the bag, a frown appearing on my face at how much I had already eaten.
I looked down and examined my stomach for signs of weight gain from my new found unhealthy diet I had taken up since I came back. No fat seemed to stick out. I shrugged and opened the bag of chocolate chips as I stood on the counter. I didn't have to worry about the counter breaking considering I wasn't too heavy. I Shoveled a handful of the chocolate into my mouth, the wonderful chocolate melting with direct contact to my warm tongue causing me to let out a small moan of happiness. The chocolate was amazing! I quickly chomped another handful as if the chocolate would disappear any second. I hid it in the very top cabinet away from everyone else.

"Enjoying that chocolate?" A sudden voice asked, making me jump and whip around on my heel in the direction of the voice. The chocolate chips slipped out of my hands towards the ground and I moved to catch them only to lose my balance and topple off of the counter into strong arms. "That could've been a nasty fall." He concluded in a smooth voice as he set me down gently on the counter.
"I'm glad you caught me." I said with a smile. "Now what are you doing out of that office?"I joked as I looked into Tyler's lust-filled brown eyes.
"I'm sorry. I was distracted by the sounds of my mate moaning over chocolate." He huffed. "You should really go to your room if you're going to openly enjoy your chocolate."
"Is that jealousy I sense?" I questioned playfully as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He moved closer to me, our faces were inches apart. "Yes." He let out a deep low growl from the back of his throat as he closed the space between us with a deep kiss. I returned the kiss with equal amount of passion as I sat on the counter. Tyler ran his arms down my side as I reached up and gripped his hair with both of my hands.

Liam-
A grunt was heard as I sent another powerful kick to the side of my enemy that lay helplessly on the floor. "Where is Kai?!" I demanded to the bloody man. I kicked him once more in frustration.
"Okay okay!" The man said with a cough of blood, no doubt a sign of internal bleeding. "Just don't kill me! I have a wife." He pleaded. We stood in the middle of a concrete room that was now covered in blood from the men my men had interrogated.
"You seem as though I care if you have a woman, Hunter." I spat to the vicious hunter. I don't know how Kai was able to find as many men as he did whenever his Hunters turned on him. Whenever he attacked my mansion he must've had at least twelve trained men on site. He nearly killed Alex and I.
It had been about a week and a half since I had left Alex in the hands of Tyler. A week I had been searching desperately for Kai so I can kill him and make it safe for her return. My hybrid. The girl was once just simply a trophy I wished to keep in my collection of pets. But her attitude, her reluctance to comply to me; to submit. Something about her it intimidated me. I don't know why I feel the way I do for her, but I intend to keep her. She does not belong to Tyler.

"He went back to the human civilization." The man stated, dragging me from my thoughts about Alex. "He is going to build an army." The man said with a cough. "And then he is going to kill you." He spat out some blood in disgust.
"Tsk tsk tsk. You almost sound like you want me dead." I sarcastically gasped. "Wrong move."
That was all he said before I knocked him out with a hard punch. I was done listening to him. I had the information I needed and I knew where I needed to go. There was no way Kai was going to kill me. I will kill him first.

My encounter with Tyler didn't escalate any further than that, if you're wondering. We got knee deep in a stupid teenage make out until his Beta, Devon walked in on us. I had never seen Devon run away quicker. Oh well.
I hadn't seen Tyler since, he had been whisked away to his office and then to some important meeting. Alpha's have a hard job that is very time consuming. It got lonely sometimes while I was waiting around for him on days like today. But today was different. I felt different in a weird way. I was happy with Tyler, but at the same time I feel empty. It wasn't because of Liam. It can't be! I have no more feelings for him! They no longer exist... Do they?
I brushed all thoughts of Liam out of my swirling mind as I sat up from Tyler's bed, bored to death. I groaned as I stood up and stomped to the bathroom. I wasn't in the mood for a shower. I wanted to go for a run in the woods. My wolf had been itching to get out lately. I missed having the wind rush through my fur, the trees run by faster than cars.
But I couldn't.
I shouldn't.
I wanted to.
What if I got caught? Anxiety rushed through me at the thought. Tyler would be so mad if he came looking for me in here and I was gone. He would be even more pissed if I was running around outside. Yet through all the risks, the little adventurer wolf in me begged me to walk out the front door and shift. She wanted me to run forever through the snowy forests, uncaring of guards or rogues.
So I decided to do it.
Excitement raced through me as my heart pounded. I casually walked out of Tyler's room, down the hallway, and down the large staircase. Once I reached the bottom of the staircase, I saw my target: The front door. Once I was clear of the dreaded front door, I would be free. I walked slowly from the bottom stair, my hand lingering on the cold gold rail for a second as I walked towards the door. Anxiety built up in my stomach as I reached for the smooth metal doorknob of the front door. My fingers brushed it, chills running through me as I finally gripped the knob and turned it slowly.
1, 2, 3..... I swung open the front door and ran down the stairs towards the snowy trees. My warm breath clouded around me from the negative winter temperatures. I shifted into my beautiful white wolf and stood there, breathing in the crisp smell of freedom. I turned around and grabbed the large white shirt I had brought for when I finished my run.
Happiness overtook my wolf as I dashed off through the glistening snow. The freezing wind blew through my coat as I ran. The cold temperatures didn't bother me in this state. I ran for what seemed like hours. I was free to think, to live.
I was smart enough to not run close to the border in case any guards were lurking around. If I got caught, I would surely be in trouble. I laughed at that thought. I was acting like a rebellious teenager who just drank her first beer.
You need to loosen up! This is fun, My wolf screamed as we ran happily.
The sun was falling closer and closer towards the ground. I had about thirty minutes until the sun would make it's dramatic blast of color before hiding on the other side of the planet. I loved sunset. Everything about the colors in the sky was gorgeous.
The wind was suddenly knocked out of me as I was slammed into the snow by something. I rolled my eyes because I knew exactly who it was. Tyler had caught me and I was now in trouble. I groaned on the inside and spit the white shirt out of my mouth as I prepared for his wrath. I stood up from the freezing snow and turned to face him. When I turned around, I didn't see Tyler. Instead I saw a familiar face that brought tears to my eyes immediately. My knees grew weak as I burst into tears of joy. In front of me stood the beautiful blonde, Addison.

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
