Camp was quiet. It had been a few days since the boat robbery, and things had been quite hectic, to say the least. Kieran had passed. You were talking with Dutch and Arthur when it all happened. A horse started to ride in with his body. The scene was quite horrific, which is why no one knew exactly what they were looking at until Mary-Beth yelled out that it was Kieran. The camp then broke out in a shootout as O'Driscolls made their way in. The camp was able to hold them off thanks to Arthur, Sadie, and Charles taking most of the heat. Kieran was taken away to be buried. Ever since everyone's been quiet.

Kieran was a good person. Some of the members still didn't trust him, but you knew he wouldn't do anything to hurt the gang. You also knew Mary-Beth and him had gotten close. This hurt her more than anyone. She didn't make it public, but you could tell she was hurting.

Before all of that happened, Dutch was telling you and Arthur about a trolly station to rob in Saint Denis. He said Bronte told him about it. You voiced your opinion about not trusting him, but Dutch wanted to do it anyways.

You heard someone step into your tent, and you turned to see Dutch. "Are you ready?"

"Dutch, are you sure about this? I really think there's something off about Bronte." You told him.

"He hasn't giving me a reason not to trust him." Dutch responded.

You raised an eyebrow. "He made John and Arthur do his dirty work just so we could get Jack back."

He chuckled at your sassy remark. "Trust me y/n. Now let's going, Arthur and Lenny are waiting."

You sighed before following him to the horses. Arthur and Lenny were already in town so you had to meet them there. You rode out and followed Dutch.

"This is nice, we don't get much alone time." Dutch hummed.

"That's because we have to stay a secret." You said in a sour tone. Dutch huffed, but didn't say anything. He didn't want either of you to be upset before the job. You rode into Saint Denis and hitched your horses. You followed Dutch back into an ally where Lenny and Arthur were sitting on some crates. Dutch started explaining that the gang needed money, so you could get out of there.

"We made a bit of money on that riverboat job, but not enough for us to leave and live peacefully." Arthur said to him. "Where are we getting the rest of the money?"

"In there." Dutch said pointing to the trolly station.

"So we are gonna rob the place?" Arthur asked. He knew that you didn't like the idea of it and wanted to talk to Dutch about it, so he thought it wouldn't be happening.

"Well I didn't think we was fixing the plumbing." Dutch said sarcastically. "I don't know if you have noticed, but we are on the clock. I reckon we have a few days before the Pinkerton show up and then, well we're done. We need money, and Bronte said this place has money. Cmon."

You all put on your bandanas and pulled out your pistols. You walked over and Dutch kicked open the doors.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a robbery. Behave as I tell you and none of you will die. Annoy me, and you all will. Now remember we just want money, don't make us kill you." Dutch announced.

Lenny went to the back room to see if there was anything, you and Arthur robbed the people in the station, and Dutch worked on getting into the room with the safe.

"There's nothing much here!" Lenny yelled from the back room.

"You sure?" Dutch asked.

"Yes." Lenny said, thoroughly checking the room.

"Then get out here and get ready for company." Dutch said, sounding more annoyed.

The man working at the station finally opened up the room with the safe, and Arthur went in to rob it. The man opened the safe revealing only a few dollars.

"We have a problem." Lenny interrupted Dutch and Arthur's bickering over the empty safe. "There's a ton of cops out here."

"That greasy son of a bitch set us up!" Dutch yelled. You looked over to him with an 'i told you so' expression. Dutch looked outside to see the trolls riding by. "Follow me." He said running out the doors of the building. One by one you all jumped on to the moving trolley. Dutch threw the driver out, and everyone took cover, preparing for the rain of bullets on the way.

"Keep y/n safe!" Dutch yelled.

"She can handle herself." Arthur said knowing you were capable of staying safe.

All at once bullets started flying at the trolley. You shot cops down as you kept moving. It seemed like you were going on forever, and the cops weren't letting up.

"We are really moving here, y/n, do you think you can slow this thing down?" Dutch asked, still shooting.

"I can try." You yelled back moving to the front. You got up and tried to pull the lever, but it was broken. You frantically looked at Dutch. "It's broke." You said panicked.

"Hold on!" Arthur yelled as he saw the trolley about to hit a stagecoach. Dutch grabbed you and pulled you into him, his one hand on your back and the other protecting your head. The trolley hit the stagecoach and flew off the tracks. You squeezed your eyes close as time felt like it was moving in slow motion. The trolley landed side ways and yours and Dutch's bodies hit the ground. You didn't take much damage, as Dutch took most of the blow. He was still holding onto you tightly when he moved his hand to his head and let out a sigh. "Dutch are you okay?" You asked him, looking worried. He sat up and shook his head. "I'm fine. What about you?" He asked, lightly grabbing your head and examining it for any injuries.

"I'm good, you took most of the blow. Let's get out of here." You said looking for the closest door to get out. You crawled along the trolleys side to an exit. Arthur and Lenny were just getting out too. The place was already full of cops. "Keep shooting." Dutch demanded. You continued shooting cops as you moved through town, hoping to find a clearing to get out of there.

"You okay Dutch?" Arthur asked.

"I'm not gonna lie, I've been better son." Dutch responded.

"Y/n, keep and eye on him." Arthur said to you.

The cops kept coming. You honestly thought you weren't going to get out of there. Dutch kept pulling you along as Arthur and Lenny fought off the law. You came up on a wagon and Lenny and Arthur got in the front, while you and Dutch hopped in the back. Dutch put his head in his hands, his head still hurting him. You put your hand on his, trying to comfort him. Arthur looked back at you. "You two stay down, I'll cover us."

Cops followed you as Lenny tried to get out of town. You helped Arthur take down as many as you could.

"They blocked the road!" Lenny yelled as you approached the blockade on the bridge.

"Here use this." Dutch said pulling out a stick of dynamite. Lenny threw it and Arthur shot it in the air, blowing up everything blocking the road. You looked around, but didn't see any more law.

"You okay back there boss?" Lenny asked.

"Don't worry about me, just get us out of here." Dutch said, resting his head back in his hands. Lenny kept riding until he knew you were in the clear. Arthur and Dutch bickered over the robbery gone wrong, and Dutch explained that you would still need to hit the bank to get enough money to leave.

"I don't feel to good." Dutch said.

"That's because you just took a bash to the head. Y/n, get him back to camp. Me and Lenny will split up." Arthur responded. You took the drivers seat of the wagon and Dutch sat down next to you. You made your way back to camp quickly and helped Dutch off the wagon. Hosea ran over to you. "What happened?"

"Bronte tricked us, that's what happened." Dutch shook his head.

"He hit his head, hard." You said to Hosea.

"Let's get him to his room." Hosea said. "Miss Grimshaw, can you help us out?"

You walked with Dutch up to his room and stood at the doorway and watched as Miss Grimshaw examined his head.

"You just need some rest, no more jobs right now." She explained.

"We don't have time for that." Micah said pushing past you and into the room.

"He's going to hurt himself even more." Hosea spoke up.

"Boss, we can't stop now. Like you said, we need money so we can get out of here." Micah said walking closer to him.

Dutch let out a groan and closed his eyes. "I can't deal with this right now. All of you out."

"Someone should stay with you." Miss Grimshaw explained.

"I'll stay with you boss." Micah said.

"No." Dutch responded firmly. "Miss l/n can stay." Your face grew warm as everyone turned to look at you.

"Why her? We should really talk about what to do next." Micah pled.

"I cannot stand the sound of your voice any longer. Please get out." Dutch said.

Hosea and Miss Grimshaw made their way out of the room. Micah grunted and followed. He stoped as he stood next to you. He looked you up and down before squinting his eyes and storming off. You rolled your eyes and walked into the room.

"You sure your okay?" Dutch said finally opening his eyes to look at you.

"Seriously, I'm fine. Thank you for keeping me safe." You said sitting down next to him on the bed.

"Your safety is all that matters." He said placing a light kiss on your temple. You smiled at him.

"You should get some rest. I'll be right here if you need anything." You said pulling a chair up next to the bed as he laid down.

"I love you." He said softly closing his eyes again.

You smiled. "I love you too."

You leaned back on the chair and watched as his chest moved up and down slowly. You watch him for a little while, before drifting off yourself.
