I started work at twelve today so i had sometime to myself

I heard a door open, i turned my head and saw becky "am-a-zing" she said looking at me

I chuckled "you had a good night i suppose?" I asked lighting another fag she nodded "more than amazing" she said sitting next to me

"Was he good?"

She smiled

"Better than that"

I shook my head "how do you even remember you were fucking smashed last night?" I asked her, "Lexi, I'm clever you know, drank lots of water and did it with him when i was quite somber" she said rolling her eyes

I stood up "don't you have work today?" I asked her walking into the kitchen "nah, taken some days off innit" she said

I grabbed a glass of water and nodded walking back "cause of the drummer?"

She sighed "he has a name" she said

"Oh you remember that?" I joked "I hate ya" she's said "oh?" I joked she smiled "how late do you start working?" She asked "twelve" I said sitting down "what did you do when van walked you home? Did he stay the night?" she asked with a smirk laying on her lips

"No, I offered him something to drink cause he walked me home and i was lonely and needed some company, honestly you owe me one becky" I said looking at her drinking my water "why don't ya like him?" She asked "it's not that i don't like him it's just, why would i get on with a rockstar who i will never speak to again after he's gone in two days like, i don't understand why you are getting on with that drummer becky" I said shaking my head

"Cause his fit and he is nice and he is amazing just in general"

I looked at her

"You sound like a fourteen year old school girl"

She laughed

"Just, I've been a fan of the band for so long and i liked Bob for so long and now i have the change so I'm going for it like" she said with a sigh "but he will be gone in two days, becky, listen he won't even remember ya" I said, it was hard but it was the truth right?

She sighed "I'm going home" she said standing up "listen i didn't mean to hurt ya but you just deserve better than this you know? I love ya becky you know that" I said standing up as well

"I'll see ya" she whispered closing the door

I sighed closing my eyes, i hated it when me and becky had fallouts

I got ready for the day and messaged becky

I sighed and walked out of my apartment

Stepped into the lift and waited

I got out of the lift and walked towards the record shop i was working in.

"Hello" Collin said smiling

I looked at him

"You were a total twat last night" i said sitting down he frowned "what did i say?"

I shook my head "telling someone i was your girlfriend and that, but you were probably too hammered to remember it right?" I said

He nodded "I was pretty fucked last night yeah" he said i sighed "you should watch out what you say" I said

I heard the door open of the shop i was working in and looked up

I saw van.

"Ello" he said smiling walking towards me

"Oi oi, what you doing 'ere" I asked with a small smile on my lips "you told me you worked here yesterday and uh, as you know i love music and records and that so i came here to look 'round for s bit if ya don't mind love" he said Collin walked towards me and saw van

"Hello, can i help you mate?" He asked

Van shook his head "no mate thank you" he said i looked at Collin seeing that he was already looking at me with a smirk "can't you work anywhere else?" I asked him "i could, but i like this job" he said i sighed walking towards van who was looking at some EP's

"I love this one!" He said grabbing one with the strokes on it "no way you like em?" I asked him smiling he nodded "man they're one of me favourites like" he said smiling "amazing, I love them" I said with a nod "now much his this?" He asked "uh, fourteen pounds" i said

He nodded "I'll take this" he said

I walked towards the .... And took the EP

I scanned it, he handed me the money

"Thank you" I said handing him the EP

"Is there any chance I'll see you tonight?" He asked me with a smirk laying across his lips

I looked at him "maybe, why?" I said with a grin on my face "well i liked to see you" he said I smiled "we'll see yeah?" I asked he nodded

"I'll see you tonight then love" he said walked towards the door "didn't promise you anything!" I said he smiled and walked out of the door

"Mate huh?" Collin said

"Non of your fuckin' business"

I sat in my apartment waiting for becky

I lighted a cigarette and looked outside the window "hurry becky" I sighed

- 10 minutes later

I opened the door seeing becky, Bob, Van and two another guys, one with a hat and one who was the same height as me.

"Lexi" becky smiled hugging me "hi, come on in" I said looked at them

They all walked in but van took a second look and stood still "you look gorgeous tonight love" he whispered offering his hand, i took it and he left a kiss on there and smiled

Alright I'm gonna be honest over here, i had a small thing for this rockstar

I shot him a small smile and walked further into my house

I sat down on my couch seeing everyone sitting down already "I'm sorry i forgot to tell you my name, me name is bondy and that is Larry over there, thanks for having us" he said with a sweet smile i nodded "no worries, nice having yous" I smiled shaking his hand

He sat next to the Larry guy, van sitting next to me lighting a ciggy "you have a record player right?" Becky asked me i nodded "can you put something on?" She said

I stood up and grabbed an random LP

"Man this is me jam!" Van said excited

"No way man you like Van morrison?" He asked me after, "of course i do he's a legend" I said sitting next to him

"You have a great taste in music Lexi" he whispered "cheers" I said

After me and van's little conversation about his dad and van morrison me and becky walked into the kitchen to get some booze

"You fancy him don't ya?" She asked me

I stood against the kitchen counter and chuckled "nah mate, only know the guy for two days" i said "so? You can fancy him right? It's not like i am asking you if your in love with him" she said walking into the living room

I sighed walking back

"Let's hit the dance floor this is me song!" Van yelled standing up, no one seem to notice everyone was busy having their own conversation I shook my head laughing being basically drunk "I can't dance to this song it's too quick" I laughed "come on love!" He said grabbing my hand I smiled standing up, van wasn't as drunk as me, I could say he would remember everything in the morning

I moved my hips to the beat feeling van's breath on neck i smiled tiredly and turned around putting my arms around his neck, our body's touched as we moved and smiled

"Your a very good dancer" I whispered with our foreheads nearly touching "yeah?" Je whispered i nodded leaning in closer

He leaned in but realised i wasn't speaking but my drunk mind was "love, your drunk-" he started "I won't regret this in the morning" i whispered looking into his eyes

He leaned in and kissed my lips

I deepened the kiss and felt like my stomach was on fire

"Goodnight" I said smiling giving Becky a kiss on her cheek "night love" she said walking out of the door "thanks for having us Lexi" Larry said smiling shaking my hand "no worries take care" I said bondy nodded walking out of the door, van was last

He was busy looking at me "gotta catch up with 'em before they'll let you walk to your hotel" I said he leaned in and kissed my chapped lips

"Goodnight love" he whispered looking at me a seconds before disappearing out of my apartment

I frowned still being drunk

"What a night" I sighed closing the door

I woke up the next mornings and immediately regretted drinking so much last night

I stood up rubbing my eyes and looked for my phone

2 messages and 1 missed call

I frowned unlocking my phone

Mate you were hammered last night, need to talk with ya later on meet me at the coffee cafe 'round the corner x

I shook my head and called her back after brushing my hair

"What's up?" I asked her "van's dick after he remembers last night" she said

I frowned looking in the mirror "wait what?" I asked her "you don't remember don't you?"

I stood up "obviously" I sighed grabbing my jacket placing it on the couch "well then we need to talk about last night" she chuckled

"Alright mate, be there in ten" I said hanging up

I grabbed my jacket and walked out of my apartment stepping into the lift

"Goodmorning" becky said smiling as i sat down "hello" I said rubbing my eyes "still a bit tired aren't ya?" She asked i nodded

"So what about yesterday? What happened?" I asked her she sighed "I didn't se everything but when I went to grab some whine you and van were dancing, like, very passionate" she started

I shook my head and sighed "fuck me" I said

"That's not everything" she said looking at me

"What else"

"You and van kissed, for a very long time" she whispered my eyes grew wide "are you taking a piss of me?" I whispered yelled she shook her head "you wanted it, you leaned in first" she said i groaned "he was quiet the whole way" she whispered looking at me

"Oh" I said she nodded "bondy asked him like why he was quiet and he said it was nothing but think as a girl that he likes you" she said

I frowned "nah mate he's just up for a hook up-" I started but got cut off "van isn't like that, Bob told me lots about him-" she started "bob Bob Bob, seriously mate why can't we stop talking about those rockstars" I said frowning standing up "why are you like this when it comes to them? You never had problems with kissing and shagging other guys like" she said

"Cause they are fucking rockstars becky, everyone know that they have groupies and hook ups in different city's- Christ becky i though you were smarter then this" I sighed walked out of the coffee cafe

I walked back to my apartment and walked in

I heard my phone going off "hello?" I said

"Lexi, d'you know where my sister is? She haven't been home in like three nights in a row and she doesn't pick her phone up, normally i see her when I'm at the pub or bar or home" he said sounding worried i sighed closing my eyes for a second if i told her brother that she was getting off with a indie guy from a rock band and she wanted to shag him at the first night, he would went mad wouldn't he?

"She's fine, she spent the night at my house but i never heard her phone ring or anything, she's at the coffee cafe around the corner she's absolutely fine" I said "right cheers Lexi for telling me I'll go there" he said "no worries mate" I said hanging up

I quickly called becky "eh, your brother is coming to the coffee cafe, I told her where you was cause he was worried sick, you haven't picked up your brothers phone calls for three days in a row?" I asked she sighed "thank you becky" she said and hang up

She sounded somber

I stepped into my bathroom taking a long shower

Tomorrow night Van was leaving and i didn't know how to feel about that, did i actually liked the guy?

I stepped out of the shower dressing myself and made some tea enjoying my day off

"No Becky I'm not coming" I said calling with her "Lexi, this is the last night please do this for me" she said "I do everything for you always but i don't want watch you getting drunk and make out with Bob and having to talk with van since i kissed him last night and i didn't even remember" I said she sighed "can't you call another mate to join?" She asked "nah cause I'm not coming Becky" I said

"Please?"

I sighed

"Fine, but this is the last time" I said "thank you so much Lexi!" She said

I hang up and got ready

I messaged Becky where she was and walked out of the building i was living in

I looked at my phone, it was eleven in the evening and i had work in the morning and knowing Becky, this was going to be a long night "hello" I said walking up to Becky in my favorite bar she smiled and hugged me "thank you for coming" she said i nodded sitting next to her on a bar stool

I looked in front of me seeing van sitting opposite me i quickly looked at Becky and started a conversation with her

After twenty minutes i saw collin walking in the bar, I sighed the night was already fucked and Becky was busy with Bob so who cared right?

I stood up feeling van's eyes following me

I walked to the back of the bar and smiled at Collin "oi oi look who decided to join me eh?" He said I sat down next to him still feeling van's eyes on me since the bar was small and they're were not many people "I'm here with me mate Becky and she has no time for me so here I am" I sighed looking at him "ya mate is over there though, shouldn't you be joining him?" He asked looking at me

I knew exactly who he was talking about

"The rockstar? Nah he isn't my mate" I said

"I though you told me-" he started

"Yeah Collin but he isn't" I sighed

After an hour i saw van making his way towards me "Lexi, do you have a minute?" He asked me i looked at Collin and then at van

"Why?" I asked "cause we need to talk" he said I sighed standing up

We walked outside

I stood there looking at the ground with my arms crossed "don't act like nothing happened" he said looking at me, I didn't speak

"You kissed me Lexi" he said looking at me

I still didn't look at him "is that what you do? kiss people and then stop talking to him?" He asked "That's more something that you would do isn't it?" I said looking at him

"I told you i am not like that" he said "what does it even matter? We danced, kissed but your gone tomorrow and will forget about me" I said with an raised eyebrow

"The thing is, i don't want to forget about you"

I laughed sarcastically

"if i wanted to just shag you i would do that yesterday when you were drunk last night" he said coming closer to where i was standing i looked at the ground he pulled his index finger under my chin making me looked at him

- van's pov

I fancied her, i really did

"Tell me what you want van so that i can go out and have a good time" she said

"I want you" I whispered leaning in

She swallowed and pulled away

She walked towards the bar again "Lexi!" I said

"No van! I don't want to talk to you! You can lead on every girl in this fucking town with your blue eyes but-" she started but i cut her off but grabbing her arm pulling her in

"I don't want to lead in this whole town i want you" I said looking into her eyes

"Your taking a piss of-"

Before she could finish talking i put my lips on her she kissed back but then all of a sudden put a hand on my chest and stopped "please don't do this van, you know you can do this to any other" she said "I have bad teeth like Austin powers and I'm bad in bed there's nothing so gorgeous about me" I said with a grin on my face

A laugh escaped her mouth making me laugh

"You have a funny laugh, you" I whispered she shook her head getting serious again "don't let me fall for you" she whispered

We sat into the bar, i looked at Lexi who was looking trough her phone "I uh have to go" she said "ah why?" Larry asked "I start work earlier tomorrow since i had the day off" she said standing up "can i sleep over at yours?" Becky asked "yeah but you have to go now then cause you broke the key and i always lock the door" she said Becky chuckled "broke the key?" Bob asked confused "long story, let's go" Lexi said

"Can Bob come over as well?" Becky asked Lexi nodded, she then looked at me "goodnight van" she whispered

"goodnight love" i whispered

"Oh and Van?" She asked me

"Yes love?"

"When you have time, think of me"
